Jakarta-Slide는 아파치 프로젝트 중의 하나로 개발된 WebDAV 서버로서 인터넷 상에서 다양한 콘텐츠의 비동기적인 협업 활동을 지원한다. 하지만 WebDAV 프로토콜은 사용자와 그룹을 위한 가상 공간을 명시적으로 지원하지 않기 때문에, Jakarta Slide를 통하여 복잡한 협업을 지원하는 것은 매우 어려운 작업이다. CoSlide 협업 시스템은 Jakarta-Slide의 이러한 문제점을 개선하기 위하여 확장된 시스템으로서 그룹 작업을 위한 다양한 가상 공간을 지원함으로써 보다 효과적인 협업 환경을 제공한다. 본 논문은 CoSlide 협업 시스템에서 실시간 메시징을 지원하기 위한 Jabber 프로토콜의 확장에 대하여 기술한다. CoSlide 협업 시스템의 사용자와 그룹을 지원하기 위하여 표준 Jabber 프로토콜이 확장되었으며, 이를 지원하기 위하여 Jabberd 서버가 또한 확장, 구현되었다. 개발된 Jabber 프로토콜은 기존의 Jabber 사용자와 그룹에 대한 정보와 더불어 CoSlide 협업 시스템의 사용자와 그룹의 정보를 표현하여 협업 시스템을 위한 효과적인 메시징 시스템에 사용될 수 있다.

작년 한해 '해외도서관 사정'지면은 세계 각지에서 활동하고 있는 많은 도서관인들의 도움으로 꾸며졌다. 올해는 전 세계 도서관인들의 모임인 국제도서관협회연맹(IFLA, International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions) 산하조직인 47개 분과(Section)와 4개의 토론그룹(Discussion Groups)의 역할과 활동을 간략히 살펴보는 지면을 마련하여, 범지구적인 도서관계의 고민과 과제가 무엇인지 알아보는 한편 1년6개월 앞으로 다가온 '2006 서울 세계도서관정보대회(WLIC)'에 대한 도서관계의 관심을 모으는 시간을 갖고자 한다.

그리드는 일정한 네트워크 성능이 필요한데, 현재 운영중인 네트워크들은 인프라스트럭춰 및 미들웨어 측면에서 만족될 수 없으며, 기존의 다른 그룹의 노력에 의해 우연히 해결되는 것이 아니고 그리드를 위한 네트워킹이라는 목표를 가지고 지속적인 노력이 필요한 것이다. 본고에서는 고성능네트워킹 구축 및 기술 현황과 발전방향, 그리고 GHPN 연구 활동과 GHPN 연계 가능한 고성능 글로벌 연구망 추진현황 및 계획 등을 분석 검토하여, 향후 활발히 연구가 진행될 GHPN의 활동범위와 발전 방향을 생각해 볼 수 있도록 한다.

1970년대 말 양계 선진화를 처음 시작한 천호그룹에서 부화장, 마니육종, SPF, 연구소 등 책임자로 활동한 경험을 비롯해 35년간 가금질병전문 연구자이자 양계업계의 산실인 오경록 대표를 소개하고자 한다. 현재는 국내 유일의 SPF(Specific Pathogen Free, 무균) 양계 농장을 두어, 종란과 실험계 공급을 통해 양계관련 연구 사업에 이바지하며, 30년 세월 간 본지 편집위원장으로도 활동하고 있는 (주)남덕에스피에프 오경록 대표를 만나보았다.

우리나라의 고등학교 로봇 교육은 그 장점과 중요성에 비해 실제 교육현장에서 활발히 적용되지 못하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 로봇 경연을 준비하는 동아리 활동을 통한 로봇 교육 방안을 소개하고 이를 정착시키기 위한 방법으로 전문 멘토 그룹의 형성과 사회적 인식 변화의 필요성을 제안한다.

ISO/TC 307(블록체인/분산원장) 기술위원회에도 금융 이슈가 두각을 나타내고 있다. 영국이 TC 307에서의 활동은 조직적이고 열정적이다. 그 이면에는 지향하는 목표가 있다. 금융 대국 영국이 신기술 분야에서 핀테크를 어우르는 블록체인 기반 산업에서 선두 지위를 확보하고자 노력하고 있다는 것을 피부로 느낄 수 있는 활동이라고 판단이 된다. COVID-19 팬데믹의 어려움에도 불구하고 AG3 (Digital currencies)와 AHG3 (pNFT) 임시 그룹의 신설은 TC307 위원회에 신선한 자극을 주고 있다. 2022년 6월 온라인 총회를 중심으로 ISO/TC 307 기술위원회의 국제표준화 동향을 살펴본다.

Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of paired-group sensory integration therapy on sensory processing, peer interaction, and play development of four-year-old children. Methods : This study involved 13 weekly sessions of a four-minute intervention as well as an initial 10 minutes of parental counseling for those without experience of paired-group sensory integration therapy. The intervention consisted of sensory processing activities and various occupational activities, and the children's Short Sensory Profile (SSP), Penn Interactive Peer Play Scale (PIPPS), and Knox Preschool Play Scale-Revised (KPPS-R) were measured before and after the sessions for comparison. The results are presented using visualized data. Results : After the paired-group interventions, all subjects showed improved sensory processing ability according to their SSP scores and improved play development on the KPPS-R. Moreover, the frequency of negative interactions decreased in the PIPPS measure. Conclusion : This paired-group sensory integration therapy had a positive effect on sensory processing, peer interaction, and play for children with developmental delay. In the future, research that applies this kind of paired-group intervention in various age groups would be useful.

According to domestic and foreign research, one of the common characteristics of good teaching is a variety of class activities. To make 'Business Major English' a good class, the researcher used a variety of class activities such as professor explanation, group activities & presentation, vocabulary quizzes, reading comprehension, homework and test feedback. The participants were 39 junior students who took 'Business Major English' in 2015 and 2016. Data on student perception were gathered from questionnaires. The analysis of the data showed, first, that the class activity the students preferred the most was professor explanation. Second, the class activity which was the most helpful in understanding text content and English sentence structures was professor explanation. Third, there were not many students preferring group activities & presentation and the students found group activities & presentation the least helpful in understanding text content and English sentence structures. Given the results, this study implies that for English class activities, students' preferences and the help they perceive have a relation to the characteristics of a class and students' English proficiency.

The purpose of this study is to suggest ways to improve the competence and performance of teenage creators through the behavioral comparison. With the recent growth of video streaming services, the number of teenage creators is rapidly increasing. However, research on the video production behavior of teenagers is still limited. Therefore, in this study, we examined the video production behaviors of teenagers and assessed difficulties in each step. This study was conducted with the case study and the empirical study which interviewed the enthusiasts group and the creators group. Experimental results indicated that the editing stage was the most important but the lowest in both groups. In particular, the interest group had a greater burden on the editorial stage than the creator group. Therefore, in order to encourage teenage video production activities, it will be necessary to train them in editing programs or provide easy editing functions.

지난 2004년 ITU-T내의 연구그룹 중에서 가장 바쁘게 지낸 그룹이 있다면 그중에 첫째로 NGN Focus Group을 삼을 수 있을 것이다. 이는 지난 2004년이 ITU-T의 한 연구회기를 마무리 짓는 시간이었던 점과, 이 Focus Group이 2004년 4월 주요 산업체 및 사업자들의 요구로 전격적으로 만들어진 NGN 관련 표준화 그룹이라는 점에서 빚어낸 결과라 할 수 있다. 2004년 6월 첫 번째 회의를 시작으로 7월 2차, 9월 3차 회의에 이르기까지 4개월 동안 3차례에 걸친 회의를 치렀다. 이어서 지난 2004년 11월 30일부터 12월 3일까지 스위스 제네바에서는 NGN Focus Group의 회의가 있었다. 금번 회의는 4번째 맞는 Focus Group 회의로서 2004년의 활동을 마무리하는 한편, 지난 WTSA 2004를 통해서 결정된 NGN Study Group(SG13) 및 SG와의 관계 정립을 위한 매우 중요한 회의가 되었다. 본 원고의 내용은 각 Working Group의 주요 결과는 금번 회의에 참가한 국내 대표단들의 참가 보고서를 기반으로 그 내용을 정리한 것임을 밝혀둔다.
