자장센서의 지상기능시험 데이터 분석을 통한 건전성 진단

  • 자장센서는 인공위성에 장착되어 궤도환경에서의 지자기장을 측정하는 센서로서 위성체의 자세결정과 자세제어 등에 활용된다. 일반적으로 자장센서는 원리와 응용범위에 따라 그 종류가 광범위하다. 응용되는 자기현상적으로 분류하면 Faraday 전자기 유도법칙을 이용한 방식, Hall Effect를 이용한 방식, 감지코일의 인덕턴스 변화와 와전류효과를 이용한 방식, 자속분포의 변화에 의한 유도기전력의 변화를 이용한 방식, 자기저항 변화효과를 이용한 방식 등이 있다. 그 중에서도 Faraday's Law를 이용하는 Fluxgate 자장센서가 구조가 비교적 간단하고 경량이며, 높은 신뢰성과 안정성을 가진다. 실제 위성을 발사하기전 지상에서는 위성체를 조립하고 전자파, 진동, 열진공 등과 같은 다양한 환경시험을 수행하는데, 이때 각 환경시험 수행을 전후로 자장센서의 극성시험, 응답시험 등과 같은 기능시험을 수행한다. 본 논문은 다양한 환경시험을 통해 수행한 Fluxgate 자장센서 기능시험 데이터에 대한 추이를 분석하여 위성 발사전 지상에서의 자장센서의 상태와 건전성을 진단하는 방법에 대하여 소개한다.

Dynamic Behavior Analysis of Railway Bridge considering Track Stiffness (궤도구조를 고려한 철도교량의 동적거동 분석)

  • This study is objected by analyzing whether it is applied to the analysis model considering the track stiffness or not when the railway bridge is designed or reviewed for the dynamic stability. It is performed that the analysis model is verified by comparing the field test result with the analysis result. Also, The dynamic response of railway bridge through the existing analysis model is compared with the analysis model considered the track stiffness. In addition, it is performed by analyzing the model considering the stiffness of concrete track. Therefore, this study is suggested that the design of railway bridge apply to the existing analysis model considering the mass of track and the dynamic stability review of railway bridge apply to it considered the stiffness & mass of track. Also, it is suggested that the stiffness of concrete slab on the bridge must consider when it is designed or checked over the dynamic stability.

Study on the Levitation Stability of Maglev Vehicle considering the Vibration of Steel Switch Track (강재 분기기의 진동을 고려한 자기부상열차 부상안정성 연구)

  • Generally, in the train area, switch tracks have required high reliability because this system is directly associated with derailment. Especially, switch tracks of Maglev vehicles must be moved in terms of the whole geometric characteristics, in which the bogies are encased in the switch track. For this reason, switch track was constructed with steel lighter than concrete girders. But, the steel switch track was weak because of structural vibration as well as structural deformation. Therefore, it is important to predict the levitation stability when a vehicle passes over flexible switch track. The aims of this paper are to develop a coupled dynamic model to describe the relationship between a Maglev vehicle and switch track and to predict the levitation stability. In order to develop the coupled dynamic model, a three dimensional vehicle model was developed based on multibody dynamics; a switch model was made using the modal superposition method. And, the developed model was verified using comparison measured data.

Early Failure of Cortical-Bone Screw Fixation in the Lumbar Spinal Stenosis (요추부 협착에서의 피질골 궤도 나사못 고정의 초기 실패 사례에 대한 고찰)

  • Purpose: Pedicle screw insertion has been traditionally used as a surgical treatment for degenerative lumbar spine disease. As an alternative, the cortical-bone trajectory screw allows less invasive posterior lumbar fixation and excellent mechanical stability, as reported in several biomechanical studies. This study evaluated the clinical and radiological results of a case of early failure of cortical-bone screw fixation in posterior fixation and union after posterior decompression. Materials and Methods: This study examined 311 patients who underwent surgical treatment from 2013 to 2018 using cortical orbital screws as an alternative to traditional pedicle screw fixation for degenerative spinal stenosis and anterior spine dislocation of the lumbar spine. Early fixation failure after surgery was defined as fixation failure, such as loosening, pull-out, and breakage of the screw on computed tomography (CT) and radiographs at a follow-up of six months. Results: Early fixation failure occurred in 46 out of 311 cases (14.8%), screw loosening in 46 cases (14.8%), pull-out in 12 cases (3.9%), and breakage in four cases (1.3%). An analysis of the site where the fixation failure occurred revealed the following, L1 in seven cases (15.2%), L2 in three cases (6.5%), L3 in four cases (8.7%), L4 in four cases (8.7%), L5 in four cases (8.7%), and S1 in 24 cases (52.2%). Among the distal cortical bone screws, fixation failures such as loosening, pull-out, and breakage occurred mainly in the S1 screws. Conclusion: Cortical-bone trajectory screw fixation may be an alternative with comparable clinical outcomes or fewer complications compared to conventional pedicle screw fixation. On the other hand, in case with osteoporosis and no anterior support structure particularly at L5-S1 fusion sites were observed to have result of premature fixation failures such as relaxation, pull-out, and breakage.

  • This paper introduces the development of temperature mapping code between thermal mesh and structural mesh in KARI Satellite Design Software. Generally, temperature distribution of a satellite varies with the time by the space environment of the orbit, so thermal expansion of the structure should be analysed in design of the satellite. For the sake of the coupled thermal structural analysis, an interpolation algorithm between two finite element heterogeneous grids has been proposed by which temperature transfer is successively conducted.

  • Recently, it has been made many adjacent construction of inter-facility by the expansion of urban infrastructure facilities using the underground space. The complaints relating to the stability of the facility by adjacent construction is common. In this study, it was conducted for the subway line 5 Gimpo airport station structure in the upper Gimpo urban railway to determine the behavior characteristics of station structure according to adjacent construction. It was performed evaluation of the safety zone and excavation method for station structure. And after a review of damage evaluation, track irregularities and structural calculation by using a numerical analysis, stability of the station structure according to adjacent construction was evaluated to be secured. This study is expected to be used as basic data in advance if you need to review the effects of nearby structure according to adjacent construction.

  • Korean Lunar Explorer is planned to be launched in the 2020s according to national space development strategy. The Lunar Explorer will be developed as two unmanned light weight models: a lunar orbiter and a lunar lander. The Lunar Explorer's structure should be designed to have light weight due to constraints from launcher as well as to provide structural safety against launch load, in-orbit condition and landing condition and to serve accommodation space for mission equipment. Core technology related to structural development of lunar explorer should be developed in advance. Especially, for lunar lander, technology for developing landing gear which enables lander to land safely on lunar surface is required essentially. This paper deals with structural development of lunar lander ground test model including design, manufacturing and test.

500 W급 고리형 홀추력기의 자기장 구조에 따른 추력 특성 연구

  • 홀 플라즈마 엔진은 인공위성의 궤도유지 및 자세제어 등의 임무수행이나 우주선의 심우주 활용에 있어 필수적인 핵심 우주 부품이다. 홀추력기 연구개발의 최근 큰 관심사는 추력기의 장시간 운전성 확보 및 방전효율 향상이다. 최근 고리형 홀추력기에서 방전 영역 내 플라즈마와 유전체 벽 간의 충돌을 줄임으로써 전극 손상 및 전자온도 손실을 감소시키기 위한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 특히 전자석 코일을 활용해 방전 채널 벽면과 평행한 방향의 자기장을 형성하여 플라즈마와 유전체 벽 간의 상호작용을 감소시키는 연구들이 소개되고 있으며, 이러한 방법을 자기차폐(magnetic shielding)라 한다. 본 연구에서는 자기차폐 개념이 적용된 방전 소모전력 500 W급 고리형 홀추력기의 방전 및 추력 발생 특성을 연구하였다. 자기장구조 제어를 통해 유전체 벽과 플라즈마 간 상호작용을 감소시킨 결과, 500 V 수준의 방전 전압에서도 유전체 벽에서의 이차전자 발생에 의한 방전전류의 급격한 증가없이 안정적인 방전이 가능하였으며, 이러한 방전 형태는 기존의 자기차폐 개념이 적용되지 않은 일반 고리형 홀 추력기에서 구현하기 어려운 방전 상태이다. 추력기의 자기장 구조 최적화 조건에서 제논 가스 방전을 통해 얻은 최대 추력은 $22{\pm}1mN$, 비추력 $2200{\pm}70s$, 양극효율 $51{\pm}2%$로 매우 우수한 성능을 보여 주었다

  • The CNDO/2 calculations have been applied on cluster models for the representative active sites in V-silicalite to get Wiberg bond orders, LUMO energies and total energies. The B acidities of suggested models were investigated in terms of O-H bond orders. And the calculated LUMO energies showed the L acidities of the active sites. The structural stabilities of cluster models were also explained in terms of total energies.

Structural Stability Analysis of a Mount in 120mm Self-propelled Mortar (120밀리 자주박격포 사격 충격에 따른 마운트 구조 안정성 분석)

  • In this paper, dynamic model of 120mm self-propelled mortar is developed, and multi flexible body dynamics analysis is performed to analyze stresses occurring in the mount during mortar fire. For this, vehicle dynamic system, mortar dynamic system, and finite element mount model are proposed. The commercial program Recurdyn is used in the analysis. As a result of the analysis, the maximum stress(146.9MPa) occurred at the mount side plate. In order to analyze the validity of the analysis results, we performed strain measurement tests by selecting three major points, and the errors of results were 7.91%, 11.15%, and 18.23%, respectively. It is confirmed that the tendency of analysis and test is similar.
