국내 정보통신 기술의 발달은 세계 최고 수준의 인터넷 인프라를 구축하는 기반이 되었다. 하지만 정보통신의 역기능 또한 함께 확대되어온 것이 현실이다. 이러한 역기능을 막기 위해 다양한 정보보호기술들이 개발 및 보급되었고 이러한 상황 속에 국내 정보보호 산업 또한 폭발적으로 성장하게 되었다. 그러나 국내시장을 중심으로 한 정보보호산업의 성장은 한계를 가질 수밖에 없다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하고 국내산업의 국제 경쟁력 강화는 물론 국제시장 선점효과를 높이기 위하여 국제 표준화 추진이 무엇보다 중요한 요소라 할 수 있다. 본 논문은 국제표준화 활동 기구인 ISO/IEC JTC1에서 국내 정보보호 기술의 표준상정 현황을 분석하여 현재 진행되고 있는 정보보호 기술표준 동향을 제공하고 향후, 국제 표준화 과제를 수행하기 위해 필요한 요구사항들에 대하여 기술하였다.

Three different models have been consecutively employed with the U.S. yield curve and the Korean composite stock price index, firstly to see the coupling between the economies of the U.S. and Korea, secondly to find out the time consumed completing the coupling, and lastly to figure out the impact of the recent U.S. financial crisis on this coupling. This study has, first of all, produced an empirical research outcome which proved the existence of coupling between two countries' economies. The direction of this coupling was consistent with the general expectation that when the yield spread between the U.S. 10-year Treasury Note and the U.S. 3-month Treasury Bill increased which often occurred with better prospects of U.S. economy, the asset price of emerging economies including Korea also rose reflecting the accompanying change in investment atmosphere in favor of risk. It has also found out that the degree of the coupling was maximized with a lag of one week. And finally the recent US financial crisis has been revealed to reduce the degree of the coupling by as much as half in a regression model with a dummy variable.

기술표준 작성이 주요 임무인 ITU-T 조직 가운데, 국제전용선의 이용제도나 국제요금계산 등 제도적인 과제를 다루어 온 SG3가 큰 전기를 맞이하고 있다. 이 배경에는 정보통신분야에서 진행되고 있는 2개의 큰 흐름을 들 수 있다. 첫째, 국제 전기통신시장의 자유화 경쟁의 글로벌한 발전과 둘째, 정보통신 인프라 스트럭쳐에서 일고 있는 IP화의 흐름이다.

세계화 원년에 치르는 첫 국제 도서전인 이번 전시회에는 독일 영국 프랑스 일본 등 해외 20개국 54개 출판사가 국제관 94부스로 참가, 실질적인 국제출판 교류의 장을 마련하고 있다. 특히 이번 도서전은 잔치성 위주의 성격보다 '저작권 시장'의 전문기능에 큰 비중을 두었다는 점, 멀티미디어시대 전자출판의 물결이 높다는 점에서 특징적인 면모를 보인다.

WTO 무역체제에서 세계 각국은 향후 자국에 유리한 국제시장 형성을 위하여 국제표준(ISO, IEC 등)을 신속히 국가표준으로 도입한다던지 또는 자국의 국가표준을 국제표준에 최대한 반영시킨다던지 하는 등의 국제 표준과 연계한 국가표준화 활동을 수행하고 있으며 이러한 국가표준화 활동의 효율적인 수행을 위하여 일관되고 효율적인 국가표준 추진체계를 수립하여 시행하고 있다.

Comovement of international stock market prices has been lately a major controversy in the global stock market. This paper explores whether the common trend has really existed among the US, Japan and Korea's stock markets using the econometric techniques such as VAR, VECM as applied. Pair of indices from the exchange market and the over-the-counter market in each country has been tested, and the exchange market only has been turned out that the common trend existed. The dynamic analyses using the Granger causality test, impulse response function, and the forecast error decomposition have followed to show that the US stock market has played some important role in the Korea and Japan's market in the exchange as well as in the OTC market. The results of the paper imply that the more careful investigation with respect to the co-integration may be necessary in the global market integration studies.

This study examined the relationship between entrepreneurship, learning competence and the export performance of international new ventures that enterprises entering foreign markets immediately after starting their business in Korea, and the mediating effect of learning competence. A research framework was developed with two entrepreneurship factors(risk taking and innovativeness), learning competence factors, and export performance. Six hypotheses were proposed and tested on 115 samples using LISREL. Research findings suggest that the two entrepreneurship factors positively influenced learning competence. However, export performance was affected by only innovativeness. Also, the learning competence positively affected export performance. Learning competence was found to mediate between entrepreneurship and export performance.

In this paper, we tried to investigate the adjusting patterns of production fluctuation of major soybean production countries. In particular, we focus our attention on the trade transmission effect of major soybean production countries on world market. We found that the instability of world market for soybean is likely to be increased mainly due to the production fluctuation and trade transmission effect of major production countries, e.g. Brazil, Paraguay, and Canada. Most of the major production countries have adjusted the production fluctuation through consumption and trade rather than inventory management, and hence the instability of world market for soybean tends to be more instable. Therefore we need to develop the effective policy measures for making domestic soybean market more stable such as a plan for keeping domestic production, a valid inventory management strategy, a use of futures market, and a strategy to diversify import market as a large importing country.
