During the maintenance period at Korean nuclear power plants, internal exposure of radiation workers occurred by the inhalation of $^{131}I$ released to the reactor building when primary system opened. The internal radioactivity of radiation workers contaminated by $^{131}I$ was measured using a whole body counter. Intake estimation and the calculation of committed effective dose were also conducted conforming to the guidance of internal dose assessments from publications of International Commission on Radiological Protection. Because the uptake and excretion of $^{131}I$ in a body occur quickly and $^{131}I$ is accumulated in the thyroid gland, the estimated intakes showed differences depending on the counting time after intake. In addition, since ICRP publications do not provide the intake retention fraction (IRF) for whole body of $^{131}I$, the IRF for thyroid was substitutionally used to calculate the intake and subsequently this caused more error in intake estimation. Thus, intake estimation and the calculation of committed effective dose were conducted by manual calculation. In this study, the IRF for whole body was also calculated newly and was verified. During this process, the estimated intake and committed effective dose were reviewed and compared using several computer codes for internal dosimetry.

The main purpose of this study was to examine the satisfaction of online classes of undergraduates who have experienced sudden online classes in college because of COVID-19, and to analyze the differences of the satisfaction of online classes depending on colleges. The participants were 1,380 college students. Descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA, and Post-hoc Scheffé were performed. Undergraduates were highly satisfied with online classes in cultural subjects and major subjects, whereas they showed low satisfaction with appropriateness of the assignment. There were statistically significant differences in online class satisfaction between colleges. Students at the College of Education were highly satisfied with online classes satisfaction, while engineering students were less satisfied with online classes satisfaction. There were statistically significant differences in students engagements between colleges. Regardless of colleges, students displayed low satisfaction in e-class server and teaching and learning infrastructure. These findings suggest that we need to provide autonomous support and make an effective online learning environment such as server expansion and e-class improvement to enhance undergraduates' self-directed learning. We also should come up with effective online classes guidelines.

As the cyber threats of nuclear power plants become more necessary to systematically prepare against the cyber attack, the international community and the domestic government are urged to apply proper security controls for Critical Digital Assets (CDA) through cyber security regulatory guidelines. In this study, we suggests the application of security controls to develop the regulatory requirements of the graded approach through the analysis of domestic and foreign cyber security regulation guidelines and best practices for digital assets directly related to nuclear accidents. In order to apply the regulatory requirements based on the consequence(impact of infringement) of the regulated facility, which is a basic consideration of the graded approach, we will classify two methods and describe details of each method. By reanalyzing existing security controls, it is introduced that the method of demanding digital assets directly related to accident to enhance security controls required for existing CDA or develop additional security controls and requiring minimum security controls for CDA that are not directly related to accident.

We surveyed 27 workplaces and 1897 workers and analyzed the correlation between Personal characteristics of workers and Musculoskeletal Symptoms. The presence or absence of Symptoms of Musculoskeletal Disease in workers was based on The Management Target or higher in accordance with the guidelines for The Investigation of Harmful Factors in Musculoskeletal Burdened Work of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency. Personal characteristics were divided into age, work load, housework burden, work experience, leisure type, gender, and marital status. In the survey, correlations were investigated through binominal logistic regression analysis for rank variables of work load, household burden, and work experience, and the significance of the results was confirmed by crosstabulation and chi-square analysis for other nominal variables. And in the case of other variables, there was a slight trend, but it was confirmed that it was not statistically significant. As a result, We confirmed that the incidence rate of Musculoskeletal Disease Symptoms increased as the age of the workers was lower, the higher the workload and housework, if they were women, if they did not engage in leisure activities. However, considering that the results of this study are slightly different as a result of comparing the results of other studies, the data of this study can be used as rough indicators for the prevention of musculoskeletal disorders, but additional research is needed before using it as quantitative indicators.
This study is to seek measures for streamlining the evaluation system by analyzing the examples of advanced countries. This study was conducted, based on the relevant government policy documents and previous research papers, in the manner of comparing and analyzing the issues and cases regarding the government evaluation system of public-funded R&D programs in selected countries. In Korea, a national R&D performance evaluation system was introduced by law in 2006. In United States, Obama government has enhanced government performance management by signed into law the GPRA Modernezation Act of 2010. The Japanese Government issued a newly revised Guideline on National R&D Evaluation in late 2012. European Union has also been constantly updating its evaluation system for Framework Programmes(FPs) begun since 1984. This study gets some insights from the recent development of R&D evaluation in the other countries. It is important for the government R&D evaluation system to be in line with national S&T policy and agency's mission. In micro views, specific evaluation approaches and methods by types of various R&D programs should be more illustratively developed. Additionally it is suggested to monitor recent trends and techniques on R&D evaluation by participating in activities to communicate and share their knowledge and experiences in international evaluation research networks.
In this study, the theoretical review was carried out on the concepts regarding the continuity of operation plan and business continuity management plan, international standard ISO22301 and common required functions for disaster response, and the business continuity guideline of local governments in Japan and establishment cases were analyzed to draw matters to be reflected for establishing the business continuity plan of local governments according to the occurrence of earthquake and tsunami. In conclusion, the standard guideline of central government should be prepared for establishing the business continuity plan of local governments and the foundation to establish the plan smoothly based on such guideline should be provided. Also, the business continuity plan should be prepared based on the previous established safety management plans by reflecting the regional characteristics of local governments. And, in order to establish the business continuity plan that fits the region, proper investigations can be carried out to examine the characteristics of each organizations, resources, facilities and environments. Lastly, detailed scenario on the scale of earthquake and tsunami occurrence and damages is prepared to establish the business continuity plan of local governments and conditions for prompt countermeasures according to the scale.

This study attempted to determine the effects of job stress, nursing problem-solving ability, nursing work performance, and job stress and nursing problem-solving ability on nursing work performance according to the MBTI type of nurses. The study subjects were 141 nurses working at a medical institution in G Province, and data collection was conducted from March 01 to March 31, 2024. The collected data were analyzed using correlation and multiple regression analysis. Among the psychological function types of MBTI, the SF type (sympathetic and friendly type) was the most common, and among the psychological temperament types, the SP type (sensuous and open type) was the most common. Nursing work performance had a negative correlation with job resource stress, a positive correlation with nursing problem-solving ability, and a positive correlation with problem recognition, information collection, planning ability, and evaluation. The variable that had a significant impact on nursing work performance was job resources, and problem recognition, a subfactor of nursing problem-solving ability, was found to be the best predictor of nursing work performance, followed by planning ability. The explanatory power was 17.8%. The results of this study are expected to be used as basic data to develop efficient nursing management guidelines by not only improving understanding of the personality of nurses but also investigating factors related to nurses' work performance. Through the development of programs and measures to improve nursing performance, it is necessary to revitalize programs, provide educational opportunities, and provide institutional support from hospital organizations to enable high-quality nursing care through skilled nursing work.
Even with the most advanced aviation technology benefits, aircraft accidents are constantly occurring while air passenger transportation volume is expected to double in the next 15 years. Since it is not possible to secure aviation safety only by the post aircraft accident safety action of accident investigations, it has been recognized and consensus has been formed that proactive and predictive prevention measures are necessary. In this sense, the aviation safety management system (SMS) was introduced in 2008 and has been carried out in earnest since 2011. SMS is a proactive and predictive aircraft accident preventive measure, which is a mechanism to eliminate the fundamental risk factors by approaching organizational factors beyond technological factors and human factors related to aviation safety. The methodology is to collect hazards in all the sites required for aircraft operations, to build a database, to analyze the risks, and through managing risks, to keep the risks acceptable or below. Therefore, the improper implementation of SMS indicates that the aircraft accident prevention is insufficient and it is to be directly connected with the aircraft accident. Reports of duty performance related hazards including their own errors are essential and most important in SMS. Under the policy of just culture for voluntary reporting, the guarantee of information providers' anonymity, non-punishment and non-blame should be basically secured, but to this end, under-reporting is stagnant due to lack of trust in their own organizations. It is necessary for the accountable executive(CEO) and senior management to take a leading role to foster the safety culture initiating from just culture with the safety consciousness, balancing between safety and profit for the organization. Though a Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's order, "Guidance on SMS Implementation" states the training required for the accountable executive(CEO) and senior management, it is not legally binding. Thus it is suggested that the SMS training completion certificates of accountable executive(CEO) and senior management be included in SMS approval application form that is legally required by "Korea Aviation Safety Program" in addition to other required documents such as a copy of SMS manual. Also, SMS related items are missing in the aircraft accident investigation, so that organizational factors in association with safety culture and risk management are not being investigated. This hinders from preventing future accidents, as the root cause cannot be identified. The Aircraft Accident Investigation Manuals issued by ICAO contain the SMS investigation wheres it is not included in the final report form of Annex 13 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation. In addition, the US National Transportation Safety Board(NTSB) that has been a substantial example of the aircraft accident investigation for the other accident investigation agencies worldwide does not appear to expand the scope of investigation activities further to SMS. For these reasons, it is believed that investigation agencies conducting their investigations under Annex 13 do not include SMS in the investigation items, and the aircraft accident investigators are hardly exposed to SMS investigation methods or techniques. In this respect, it is necessary to include the SMS investigation in the organization and management information of the final report format of Annex 13. In Korea as well, in the same manner, SMS item should be added to the final report format of the Operating Regulation of the Aircraft and Railway Accident Investigation Board. If such legal and institutional improvement methods are complemented, SMS will serve the purpose of aircraft accident prevention effectively and contribute to the improvement of aviation safety in the future.

This study is a case study that applied 'UNDRR's Urban Disaster Resilience Scorecard', an evaluation tool necessary for Incheon Metropolitan City to be certified as an international safe city. I would like to present an example that the results derived from this scorecard contributed to the Incheon Metropolitan City Disaster Reduction Plan. Of course, the Disaster Resilience Scorecard can't provide a way to improve the resilience of every disaster facing the city. However, it is to find the weakness of the resilience that the city faces, and to propose a solution to reduce the city's disaster risk. This is to help practitioners to recognize the disaster risks that Incheon Metropolitan City faces. In addition, the solution recommended by UNDRR was suggested to provide resilience in areas vulnerable to disasters. It was confirmed that this process can contribute to improving the disaster resilience of Incheon Metropolitan City. UNDRR has been spreading 'Climate Change, Disaster-resistant City Creation Campaign', aka MCR (Making Cities Resilient) Campaign, to cities all over the world since 2010 to reduce global cities' disasters. By applying the disaster relief guidelines adopted by UNDRR, governments, local governments, and neighboring cities are encouraged to collaborate. As a result of this study, Incheon Metropolitan city's UN Urban Resilience Scorecard was evaluated as a strong resilience field by obtaining scores of 4 or more (4.3~5.0) in 5 of 10 essentials; 1. Prepare organization for disaster resilience and prepare for implementation, 4. Strong resilience Urban development and design pursuit, 5. Preservation of natural cushions to enhance the protection provided by natural ecosystems, 9. Ensure effective disaster preparedness and response, 10. Rapid restoration and better reconstruction. On the other hand, in the other five fields, scores of less than 4 (3.20~3.85) were obtained and evaluated as weak resilience field; 2. Analyze, understand and utilize current and future risk scenarios, 3. Strengthen financial capacity for resilience, 6. Strengthen institutional capacity for resilience, 7. Understanding and strengthening social competence for resilience, 8. Strengthen resilience of infrastructure. In addition, through this study, the risk factors faced by Incheon Metropolitan City could be identified by priority, resilience improvement measures to minimize disaster risks, urban safety-based urban development plans, available disaster reduction resources, and integrated disasters. The Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs has promulgated the mandatory design of BIM for road projects of more than 50 billion won by 2020 under the Basic Plan for the Sixth Construction Technology Promotion. As a result, major public clients are attempting to implement BIMs that are appropriate to the situation of each institution. On the other hand, it is difficult to design and construct a proper BIM and accumulate BIM information of the ordering organization because the technical guidelines and standard classification system that can perform BIM effectively have not been presented sufficiently. The characteristics of the road should be managed systematically, e.g., atypical objects, such as earthworks, which are constantly changing along a line; large objects, such as bridges and tunnels; and facilities, such as signs and soundproof walls. To achieve this, a multitude of standard systems should be developed and disseminated, but there have been insufficient studies on practical methods. To solve this problem, this study developed a BIM standard object classification system in the road sector to meet the international standard, accommodate a multi-dimensional information system, and provide a more effective BIM standard information environment that can be utilized easily by practitioners.
