This study aims to investigate the impact of total, native-born, and foreign-born employment rates on the increases of GDP and per capita GDP for 24 OECD countries out of 34 countries depending on data availability. The panel data analysis is formed by a fixed-effects model which allows dummy variable in it to permit the intercept term to vary over time-series and cross-sectional units. Empirical evidences obtained by simple and multiple panel regressions reveal that the contribution to increasing of GDP by foreign-born employment is obviously lower than the one by native-born employment. And, native-born labor is substituted by foreign-born labor. It also has to be mentioned that the labor is playing a key role in increasing in national income. And, therefore, labor-related policy should be concerned on decreasing in labor productivity and segmentation of labor market resulted from inflow of foreign labor. It means that labor-related policy has to take care of not only the magnitude, but also the quality of foreign-born labor.

This study analyzes economic behaviors of government employee pension subscriber's household by comparison to national pension subscriber's household. First, government employee pension subscriber's household income is higher than national pension subscriber's one. Second, household net assets of government employee pension subscriber are smaller than the ones of national pension subscriber. Government employee pension could crowd out private household savings, and a national pension subscriber's household inherited more than a government employee pension subscriber's. Third, a government employee pension subscriber's household is also likely to expend more than a national pension subscriber's household. Both summary statistics and fixed effects estimates give significant coefficients to government employee's dummy. Government employee pension subscriber's households do not need to save more because they expect to receive a stable retirement pension which gives relatively higher compensation. Thus, they are likely to consume more than national pension subscriber's households.

본 연구에서는 토지에 관한 각종 정보 중 현재 2차원에 국한된 지적정보를 지적공부에 등록하고 있으나 토지의 입체적인 활용의 증대 및 이에 따른 입체적 권리의 다양화 등으로 2차원적인 토지정보의 등록방법으로는 효율적인 토지관리 및 소유권 보호에 한계에 이르고 있어 이에 대한 대안으로 3차원 지적정보를 지적공부에 등록할 수 있는 기본방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 통해 국토개발에 대한 정책결정 정보를 효율적으로 제공 할 수 있으며, 국민소득의 증가에 따라 사회간접시설(SOC)분야 및 국민 개개인의 토지이용에 있어 각종 계획과 설계 등의 인프라 조성에 기여하게 될 것이다.

경제성장과 국민소득의 증대에 따른 교통수요의 증대는 필연적으로 자동차 대수의 증가를 초래하게 되었다. 교통은 국가산업의 발전, 지역 간의 격차해소 및 문화교류에 기여하고 있으며, 작게는 국민의 일상적인 대중 교통수단으로서의 역할을 맡아 개인생활의 향상에 이바지하고 있다. 그러나 이러한 교통의 양적 발달의 이면에는 교통사고라는 부정적인 요소를 내포하고 있으며, 우리나라의 경우 유래 없이 높은 교통사고율로 말미암아 교통사고로 인한 재해의 위기에 처해 있다하여도 과언이 아니다.(중략)

전력수급는 경제규모의 확대와 국민소득 증대에 따라 계속적으로 증가될 것이 예상되고 있다. 국민경제에 필수불가결한 전력이 안정적으로 공급되기 위해서는 발전소의 건설도 중요하지만 현재 우리 사회에는 지방화, 민주화 확산과 환경에 대한 관심등이 고조되면서 발전소 건설여건이 날로 어려워지고 있을 뿐만 아니라 대부분의 에너지도 수입에 의존하고 있는 특수성에도 불구하고 낭비적이고 비효율적인 소비현상을 보이고 있어 앞으로의 전력정책은 그 동안의 공급위주에서 벗어나 수요측면에서 수요관리 및 소비절약등에 역점을 두어 추진될 것이다. 이를 위해 앞에서 언급한 수요관리 및 전기소비 절약을 강력히 추진하여 장기적으로 전기저소비형사회가 되도록 유동함에 아울러 기존설비의 수명연장, 효율 및 기능 향상 그리고 기술개발등에 대한 집중적인 투자와 지원을 할 계획이다.

최근 정통부는 9년 동안 정체되어 있는 국민소득 1만불 시대에서 2만불 시대로의 돌파를 위해서 "IT 839전략"을 추진하고 있다. 그 주요 요지는 8대 신규 서비스, 3대 인프라, 그리고 9대 신성장 엔진을 통해 2012년에 2만불 시대를 달성하자는 것이다. "IT386전략"의 핵심 내용을 살펴보면 항목 하나 하나가 홈네트워크, 더 나아가 유비쿼터스 네트워크(Ubiquitous Network)의 구성 요소로 가득 차 있다. 홈네트워크는 PC, 인터넷, 모바일 이후를 대표하는 차세대 IT Key word로서 자리 매김하고 있으며 시장 규모적인 측면이나, 국민경제에 미치는 파급효과, 각 개인의 생활의 변화 등 다방면에서 큰 파장을 일으킬 것으로 예상되고 있다. 지금까지 한국의 의료제도 운영은 기본적으로 자유 경쟁체제(laisser-faire system)를 근간으로 발전되어왔으며 보건의료인력의 수요와 공급 역시 이에 따라 무계획적으로 이루어져 왔다. 또한 1970년대에 급격한 경제성장을 이룩한 우리나라는 국민소득이 늘어 생활수준 역시 높아졌으며, 정부의 정책목표도 복지사회건설에 비중을 둠으로써 정부는 국민건강과 직결된 의료보장정책에 심혈을 기울이게 되었다.
