박물관 3.0시대의 도래와 함께 박물관 경영 측면에서 빅데이터 분석, 그리고 공유와 개방의 관점 및 커뮤니케이션 플랫폼과 마케팅 도구로써 소셜 미디어의 영향력이 증대되고 있다. 모바일 애플리케이션이나 비콘에 의존했던기존의 박물관 빅데이터 분석과는 달리, 본 연구에서는 전시에 대한 인스타그램의 해시태그를 분석함으로써, 관람객 분석도구로써 인스타그램 해시태그의 효용성과 가치를 입증하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위해 최근 2년 동안 국내에서 개최된 다섯 개의 전시의 인스타그램 해시태그를 수집 및 시각화했다. 그 결과, 모든 전시의 인스타그램의 해시태그는 전시명, 전시장소, 전시회, 지역명, 작가명에 집중되었다. 결론적으로 인스타그램의 해시태그는 전시관람 경험에 대한 분석을 위한 빅데이터로 사용하는 것이 부적합했다. 또한 관람객 개발을 위한 도구로써 인스타그램 해시태그의 효용성과 가치는 입증되지 못한 반면, 노출형에 해당하는 해시태그의 정보 확산에 대한 잠재력은 확인되었다.

This paper focuses on developing and strengthening realistic media education programs through the introduction of smart glass for reasonable development and operation of academic research as well as hands-on learning and services provided by museums in modern society where the labor market changes. Through this study and case, a paper was written to improve the quality of museum education programs and hands-on learning through smart glass, and to provide higher education services to the people and contribute to the development by helping academic research.

본 논문에서 우리의 HMD는 Microsoft의 HoloLens 2와 국내 XR 기업을 비롯한 AR, XR을 이용하여 박물관 관람 지원 콘텐츠를 제시하고자 한다. 증강현실과 더불어 확장 현실의 기술 확장을 보이며 사용자는 박물관이란 공간 내에서 HMD를 착용하고 관람하며 설명 판에 QR코드를 인식하여 인터페이스와 더불어 각 주제에 맞는 애니메이션을 제공하여 시각적으로의 추가적 요소를 제공한다. 또한 사용자가 기존의 일반적이던 박물관 관람에서 XR이란 새로운 기술의 융합을 접목함으로 시각적 흥미를 갖게 하고 지역마다 특수한 역사, 배경에 맞춘 콘텐츠로서 지역을 알려 더 넓게 사회문제의 하나인 인구 저하에 따른 지역소멸에 지역홍보 차원이나 콘텐츠의 제공, 나아가 XR의 상용화까지 기대할 수 있는 콘텐츠를 기대한다.

Interest in the augmented reality is growing and increase of Smartphone is changing people's life style. The purpose of this study is to explore application method of image restoration based on augmented reality to museum education. Museum is the proper place that audience, including students could learn culture and history of past time. This study suggests that using smartphone application which is used by image restoration with augmented reality is efficient to museum audience's understanding and interest. A game design for domestic museums is planned. Smartphone application which is used by image restoration with augmented reality also could be utilized for exploring historic sites or enjoying local festivals.

At present, domestic archives within the realm of performing arts predominantly focus on recording through videos, yet they often lack comprehensive documentation of crucial production processes and content services. Recognizing the contemporary significance of archival content services, this study analyzes the archival content within the national performing arts archives websites of the United Kingdom and the United States, serving as international benchmarks. The findings extrapolate insights and implications to propose enhancements for the Museum of Performing Arts in the National Theater of Korea. The analysis focused mainly on the missions and visions on the websites, examining 107 contents from the UK National Theater, 27 from the United States, and 9 from Korea. The suggested improvements encompass clarifying target users and execution tasks in the mission and vision statements, fostering expert collaborations, incorporating preview features, curating content with a single theme, and organizing a comprehensive list on the National Theater's YouTube channel.

In this study, research trends were investigated by examining important academic research on museum lighting that has been carried out in Korea over the past 30 years. The aim was to highlight important studies conducted in Korea on material deterioration caused by museum lighting and to examine the current status of research on LED light sources to provide direction for future research. The ultimate goal of studies on museum lighting is to improve the long-term conservation effects, and this study examined the latest light sources of each era. Prior to the 1990s, the effects of light sources on relics were assessed by investigating incandescent light bulbs and fluorescent lamps, the first museum exhibition lighting. Then in the 1990s, the introduction of halogen lamps and HID lamps led to the analysis of the characteristics of a light source itself and the introduction of illumination standards. In the 2000s, the lighting environment of museums was investigated based on the characteristics of the light sources that had been studied, and in terms of preservation, research was conducted not only to improve the conservation of relics but also to improve the sentiments of visitors. After 2010, LED lamps were introduced; therefore, material deterioration studies on LED lamps were expanded. During this period, enhancements to LED light sources were made, such as reducing the blue spike area and increasing color rendering. With the development of lighting used in museums and art galleries, the direction of the display preservation criteria has led to the need to prepare advanced standards, covering all aspects from the center of illumination to the consideration of the color of an object and the speed of radiation from the light source. Regular studies of museum lighting in a long-term perspective should be planned to standardize the more advanced conditions of material discoloration.

Several Korean cultural property-related foundations have investigated Korean cultural property located abroad with the help of international organizations owning Korean cultural objects and the investigation results serve as the basis of preservation/restoration, exhibition, and educational efforts. Korean cultural objects have been widely used abroad, for instance, for research and exhibition purposes, whereas in Korea, there are still only very few examples of using cultural property based on research results and accessibility to cultural property located abroad is also low. The aim of this study is to explore plans to utilize Korean cultural property located abroad in Korea, and exhibition displays and online museums can be good ways to utilize Korean cultural property located abroad. These will help increase access to Korean cultural property located abroad and find a variety of applications, including exhibitions, education.

Such future-oriented institutions that put together the functions of a library, archive, and museum are being actively introduced overseas recently and are called LAM, GLAM, and media tech. In South Korea, the term larchiveum, combining library, archive, and museum, is widely used. Therefore, this study explores a case study followed to determine larchiveums in service both home and abroad. The researcher then conducted an interview with librarians, archivists, and curators working for the larchiveums selected as the South Korean cases for the study to understand the meaning of a larchiveum. Additional interviews were conducted with five users that visited a larchiveum in the nation and uploaded posts on a social media platform to understand their perceptions of a larchiveum and problems with the purpose, functions, and services of it. Based on the analysis results, the study proposes vitalization plans for the management of a larchiveum in three aspects: improving the internal and external awareness, securing budgets and manpower for space enhancement and service, and reinforcing the integrated management of a larchiveum via a devoted organization.

This study seeks some ways to improve archives exhibitions by comparing with museum exhibitions. For this purpose, this study overviews the present state of domestic archives exhibitions and extracts some features compared to museum exhibitions. And it suggests some improvement ways for archives exhibitions especially based on comparative analysis of the special exhibitions held by National Archives of Korea and National Folk Museum of Korea in memory of the 60th anniversary of National Foundation. It derived some ways to facilitate archives exhibitions hereafter, they were targeting distinctive customers for each area, communicating proper message for the theme and target of exhibitions, orienting theme-typed exhibitions, reflecting customers' feedback, exhibition educational services' invigorating, neutral interpretation of modern archives, and offering material on life and cultural history in priority.

As the elderly and the disabled populations increase, the importance of the universal design is more highlighted to form equal and secured environment. Particularly, as the desire for the cultural experience has grown, investment and construction of the cultural space are actively carried forward at the state level, but there are a lot of restrictive elements for the disadvantaged to have the cultural experience in the public facilities. To analyze these elements, investigation into the present conditions and analysis of use evaluation were conducted over the construction environment of museums, the public cultural space, in terms of the visually handicapped and non-handicapped people. Through the literature review, this study understood the concept and principle of the universal design, analyzed and reclassified the existing evaluation elements. As a result of evaluating museums in the country based on the analyzed evaluation elements, the information, environment and supplement points in service were investigated for the visually handicapped to tour museums and remedies were drawn. This study tries to consider these disadvantaged and to suggest evaluation elements and remedies for environment construction, so that everyone can do pleasant activities.
