In this study, we investigate the influence of national culture on technological innovation activities. First, we discuss the concept of national culture and various cultural dimensions and measurements. Second, we analyze previous literature to explore the theoretical mechanisms in the relationship between national culture and technological innovation. Each cultural dimension has it own mechanism regarding the relationship and in some dimensions mixed theoretical arguments and empirical results are found. Lastly, we also explore how the national culture interacts with characteristics of technology, (social) institutions and public policies while it affects the technological innovation. Based on an literature review on the issue, we propose new research agenda and discuss avenues for future research. The implications for the research are also presented.

As the importance of cultural information becomes greater than before, there are some needs for a new national economic paradigm in the knowledge based society. The purpose of this paper is to suggest guidelines for building up a national cultural information network model that enable to promote government's recognition and cultural policy. This research includes feasibility analysis of cultural policy perspective, current situations, and economic effect of cultural industry.

최근 HCI 분야에서는 사용자들이 가지고 있는 문화적 성향이 사용자 경험에 미치는 영향에 대한 다양한 연구들이 이루어져 왔다. 이는 사용자들이 가지고 있는 문화적 성향이 어떠한 기기나 시스템을 이해하고 해석하는 방식에 영향을 미치는 지각적 렌즈(Perceptual Lens)로서 작용하기 때문이다. 이와 같은 사용자들이 가지고 있는 문화적 성향의 중요성에도 불구하고 기존 HCI 분야의 연구들은 국가와 문화를 동일시하면서 국가 수준에서 문화의 중요성만을 강조하고 있다. 그러나 어떠한 기기나 시스템의 사용은 개인 수준에서의 행동이기 때문에 국가와 문화를 동일시 하는 것은 개인 수준의 행동을 설명하지 못한다는 한계가 있다. 이는 문화적 성향이 한 국가 내에서도 개인에 따라 다양한 양상을 나타낼 수 있으며, 더 나아가 한 개인 안에서도 대상이나 정황에 따라 다른 양상을 나타낼 수 있기 때문이다. 본 연구는 사용자들이 가지고 있는 문화적 성향에 있어 국가 간 차이가 존재할 뿐만 아니라, 기기 간에도 차이가 존재함을 밝히는 것을 기본 목적으로 한다. 이와 같은 목적을 위하여 본 연구에서는 Hofstede[1980]가 제시한 네 가지 문화적 차원(불확실성 회피 성향, 개인주의 성향, 남성성 성향, 권력 거리 성향)을 중심으로 각 차원에 있어 나타나는 국가 간 그리고 기기 간 사용자들의 문화적 성향의 차이를 3 개 국(미국, 독일, 러시아)에서 4 개 디지털 기기(핸드폰, MP3 플레이어, LCD TV, 냉장고) 사용자들을 대상으로 한 대규모 설문을 기반으로 검증하였다.

인쇄문화산업이 지난 1월 2일 드디어 국가 전략산업으로 지정됐다. 이에 따라 인쇄인들은 해당 조건을 충족할 경우, 정부로부터 시설, 운전, 환경개선에 필요한 자금을 장기 저리로 우선 지원받게 됐다. 인쇄문화산업진흥 5개년 계획에서 인쇄문화산업을 국가 전략 산업으로 육성한다는 계획에 따라 대한인쇄문화협회를 중심으로 다양한 활동을 전개하고 문화부가 관계 부처와 협의하여 이루어낸 성과다, 이에 본지는 해당 사업을 집행하는 중소기업청이 발표한 중소기업 정책자금 융자계획의 세부내용을 정리해 게재한다.

Un globalization unfolds, concerns and research toward the differnces international cultures has increased. However, there is a dearth of research regarding how to nature culture align orgainzational performance with leadership style. Accordingly, this study aims to identify the relationship between leadership style and the orgainzational performance with mediating effect of national culture. Understanding the cultures of other countries is not as fast as the speed of internationalization. As globalization advances, interest and research on the characteristics of national culture differences have been increasing. One of the important challenges for business leaders is the ability to understand and deal with cross-cultural management. But there is a lack of research on cross-cultural management. In order to achieve this objective, this study, adopts Hofstede cultural dimensions, and finds the mediating effect on these transformational and transactional leadership on organizational performance.Feminism, collectivism, power distance, and uncertainty avoidance were classified into four factors of national culture has differnct mediating effect on leadership style and performance. This research has concentrated on leadership-styles and organizational performance with mediating effect of national culture.

국제기록문화전시회 세미나가 지난 6월 1일 서울 삼성동 코엑스 4층 그랜드컨퍼런스룸에서 열렸다. 국제기록문화전ㅅ시회 개회식에 이어 전행된 이번 세미나는 루이스 벨라도 ICA 부의장이 '기록문화에 대한 인식을 제고하기 위한 미국 국가기록청의 전략적 방향 및 접근'에 대해, 데이빗 리치 ICA 사무총장이 '기록문화 인식제고 및 확산'에 대해, 에르베 르무완 프랑스 국가기록원장이 '프랑스 기록물 유산과 미래 세대에게 물려주기 위한 국가적 노력'에 대해, 한영우 이화여대 석좌교수가 '한국 기록문화 전통 및 계승방안'에 대해 발표했다. 본지에서는 한영우 교수의 발표문을 요약 게재한다.

본 논문에서는 국가무형문화재 기록영상의 화질 개선에 관한 연구를 진행한다. 기록영상의 화질 개선을 위해 SRGAN 기반의 초해상화 복원영상 생성 프레임워크의 적용을 제안한다. Image aumentation과 median filter를 적용한 데이터셋과 적대적 신경망인 Generative Adversarial Network (GAN)을 기반으로 딥러닝 네트워크를 구축하여 입력된 Low-Resolution 이미지를 통해 High-Resolution의 복원 영상을 생성한다. 이 연구를 통해 국가무형문화재 기록영상 뿐만 아니라 문화재 전반의 사진 및 영상 기록 자료의 품질 개선 가능성을 제시하고, 영상 기록 자료의 아카이브 구축을 통해 지속적인 활용의 기초연구가 되는 것을 목표로 한다.

Culture technology (CT) becomes important in the recent environment where digital technology drives content-based innovations. However, technological trends of CT have not been systematically discussed. Especially, the trends of CT should be analyzed from the national perspective, because CT has grown with the help of government-driven innovation. Therefore, this paper aims to analyze CT trends focusing on national research projects. We collected data on CT from the national science and technology information service (NTIS) database, analyzed the keyword co-occurrence network, and identified the patterns of technological innovation using a clustering analysis. As a result, we found that CT has contributed to the digital content and cultural media, and has been actively developed with the help of machine learning technique. Especially, due to the rise of Covid-19, the non-face-to-face online content is rapidly increasing. This study provides important clues for understanding, analyzing CT trends.

The state behavior has a strong consequence with the national strategic culture. However, different scholars hold different views on the classification of the national strategic culture. As one of the most significant land neighbors in West China, Pakistan is China's all-weather strategic cooperative partner. Understanding Pakistan's strategic culture will not only help understand Pakistan's national policies and state behavior, but also help deepen China-Pakistan cooperation. Cutting in from the perspectives of geography, social economy, culture, history and military, the author believes that the formation mechanism of Pakistan's strategic culture is mainly affected by the following four factors: geopolitical environment, production mode and lifestyle, cultural tradition, historical experience and diplomatic relations. The analysis has found that Pakistan's strategic culture has been shaped by Islam and can be classified as an outward-oriented strategic culture, the state behavior also shows a strong Islamic identity.

UNESCO Framework for the Culture Statistics(FCS) is composed of cultural media and cultural activities. It's structure has become a standard and criteria for cultural statistics of the nations in the world. In this paper $\ulcorner$Culture and Arts Statistics in Korea$\lrcorner$ and $\ulcorner$Culture and Arts Statistics of Developed Countries$\lrcorner$ has been analyzed based with FCS, in the respect of the structure and equality of the statistical items in cultural fields. The former has been published rationally through the steps of structural research, producing items and renew the structure, but the latter hasn't. The latter needs the policy to select the nations and research for the cultural structure to apply for them.
