무기질 혼화재를 이용한 콘크리트용 구체방수재의 개발 (Development of Self Waterproofing Admixture for Concrete Using Inorganic Admixture)

  • SF, ZS 및 SS의 혼합비율을 변화시켜 제조한 구체방수재를 대상으로, 방수재의 종류 및 첨가량에 따른 굳지 않은 콘크리트 및 경화콘크리트의 수밀특성을 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 구체방수재의 첨가량이 증가할수록 유동성은 증가하였으며, 응결시간은 지연되었다. 경화상태 압축강도는 기존 제품인 A의 경우, 방수재 첨가량 183kg/㎥까지는 증가하나, 그 이후 24kg/㎥에서는 감소하는 것으로 나타났으며, 시제작품인 B, C, D의 경우는 기존 구체방수재인 A에 비해 높은 강도특성이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 흡수량은 구체방수재 혼입량이 증가하고, 재령이 경과할수록 적어지는 것으로 나타났는데 특히, ZS의 첨가량이 많은 방수재 일수록 크게 낮아지는 것으로 나타났다. 투수량은 흡수량과 유사한 경향으로, 방수재 첨가량이 증가하고, 재령이 경과할수록 감소하는 등의 특성을 나타내고 있었다. 이상을 종합하여 볼 때 시제작품으로 가정한 SF : ZS : SS의 혼합비가 1 : 2 : 1이고, 혼입량이 63kg/㎥인 조건이면 기존 구체방수재보다 우수한 품질의 수밀콘크리트를 제조할 수 있는 것으로 판단되었다.

시멘트페이스트 경화체의 Self-Healing 특성에 미치는 구체방수재의 영향 (A Study on Influences of Waterproofing Admixtures for Concrete on Self-Healing Properties of Hardened Cement Paste)

  • 본 연구는 시멘트계의 self-healing 반응에 대한 정보와 콘크리트용 구체방수재가 self-healing에 미치는 영향에 대한 정보를 얻기 위하여 수행되었다. 우선 시멘트페이스트를 준비하여 7, 14, 28일간 양생한 다음 분쇄하여 두께가 1 mm 이하인 시편을 분리하였다. 분리한 시편은 밑면과 윗면을 젖은 헝겊으로 감싼 다음 용기에 담아 7일, 28일간 보관하였다. 그 후 젖은 헝겊으로 덮어 두었던 시편을 대상으로 아세톤을 사용하여 수화 정지 작업을 한 다음 XRD, DSC, SEM, EDX를 사용하여 분석하였다. 이러한 분석 결과 시멘트의 self-healing에 대한 정보를 얻을 수 있었다. 시멘트는 self-healing의 특성을 가지고 있으며 이러한 현상은 물의 존재에 큰 영향을 받게 된다. 또한 self-healing은 수화 초기에 더욱 빠르고 효과적인데, 이는 수화 초기 일수록 미반응 시멘트 성분의 함량이 높아 추가적인 수화반응을 일으키기가 수월하기 때문이다. 또한 연구 결과 콘크리트용 구체방수재가 시멘트계의 self-healing에 상당한 영향을 미치는 것을 확인하였다. 구체방수재는 시멘트의 self-healing 효과를 증대시켜주며, 특히 C 구체방수재를 사용한 시편에서는 침상 또는 섬유상의 수화생성물이 다량 존재하는 것으로 나타났으며, 이들 상은 에트린자이트로 예상되어진다. 이들 수화생성물이 시멘트계의 self-healing 효과를 증진하는데 매우 효과적인 것으로 판단된다.

  • In this study, comparison of setting time, compressive strength, watertightness and durability of between reference mortar with mortar using waterproof admixtures based on natural inorganic minerals. Test results shows that waterproof admixtures does not change setting time of mortar, but strongly improve compressive strength, permeability, absorption and durability of mortar. Especially early strength of mortar increased about 40% of reference.

Through before study and fly ash in mortar, Various properties as fly ash ratio in concrete were checked. According to the experimental result, it was shown that proper Waterproofing admixture of powder increased by cement weight in concrete was generally positive effect to flowing, compressive strength, suction ratio of water, length change ratio. So if Waterproofing admixture of powder is well done quality considered as good on application of concrete.

  • This study is intended to develop the self water proof admixture for durability concrete by anti-corrosion inhibitor. Chloride induced corrosion of reinforcement is one of the main factor which cause the deterioration of concrete structure. When the substitute anti-corrosion agents for a part of self waterproofing agent, the corrosion-proof increases for the increased water proofing capacity. And proper self waterproofing agent by cement weight in concrete was generally positive effect to concrete compressive strength, slump, freezing and thawing resistance. Also, permeability and absorption show a straight decrease when self waterproofing agent is added.

  • In this paper, various of experiments were performed for checking the usefulness of Pozzolan Inorganic Polymer(PIP) Waterproof Admixture. The results of the experiment enabled to set the optimum mixture ratio of PIP waterproof admixture as 3.5%. Then, the test specimen mixed with PIP waterproof admixture was produced and consider whether meeting the quality standard of waterproofing admixture for concrete (KS F 4926) From the results, all the items such as mechanical properties and durability were meet the quality standard of KS. The PIP waterproof admixture concrete shows the high resistance of absorption, permeability and chloride ion penetration thanks to its internal components such as siliceous powder, zinc stearate and dispersive polymer.

  • This study is to develop a self waterproof agent by varying the addition ratios of silica fumes and zinc stearates. As the experimental results, it shows a possibility to produce a high performance self waterproof agent which performs a better properties in workability, strength, waterproof, dry-shrinkage and cost, if it is manufactured with silica fumes to zinc steartes ratios of 1 : 2 and mixed 6kg per 1㎥ into concrete mixtures.

  • In structures, it is important to improve the capacity of waterproof in aspect of the durability and management of maintenance. Among the method of waterproof, self waterproof method is to improve the capacity of waterproof of structure itself. Thereby, we can expect the effect of durability and economics. In this study, we investigated the adding effect of waterproof admixture according to the water-cement ratio when used powder self waterproof admixture and analyzed the change of microstructure. Also, we were made to clear the mechanism of self waterproof admixture and intended to suggest the basic data on developing self waterproof admixture.

  • This study is to investigate the watertightness properties of waterproofing admixture mixed redispersible polymer and siliceous powder. Series I deals with change in micro-structure of mortar by waterproofing admixture according to the water/cement ratios of 0.5, 0.6, 0.7 and 0.8 Crystal growth in micro-structure was observed through SEM to estimate on the watertightness effect of it. SeriesII deals with watertightness properties of waterproofing admixture on water permeability coefficient, crack restoration capacity and carbonation depth. The result of this study can be summarized as follows. 1) Fluidity of mortar and concrete was increased by adding waterproofing admixture. 2) From observation through SEM. Crystals grew larger and denser in micro-structure as fiberic crystalization. 3) Waterproofing admixture is good watertightness properties in a level of high water/cement ratios and long limit of time. 4) Crack restoration capacity was appeared and durability was progressed by waterproofing admixture.
