The Measurement of Road Alignment Using GPS-IMU System (GPS-IMU 통합 시스템을 이용한 도로기하구조 측정에 관한 연구)

  • It is important for highway maintenance and safety assessment to get the accurate highway geometric information. However, it is difficult to acquire good highway geometric information due to missing blueprints or deteriorated highway sections. This research, to get highway geometric information rapidly, has developed a highway geometric analysis algorithm that uses data from vehicles with GPS-IMU integrated system. In conclusion, the result shows that 3.38% of error-ratio for the horizontal alignment and 0.083 absolute value difference for vertical grade comparing with highway drawings. Therefore, the result suggest that the developed method can be applied to the road safety inspection or road safety audit.

A Study on the Decision of Influence Range of External Temperature in the Tunnel Using Thermal Camera (열화상카메라를 활용한 외부온도의 터널내 영향범위 산정방법 연구)

  • There are three parts of tunnel which are influenced by outside temperature, entrance, exit and vent. These parts showed different tendency of deterioration(very rapid deterioration speed, wide range of defects, etc) compared with last parts of tunnel. Therefore, it needs to have different points of view when civil engineers analyze the defects on these parts and apply the retrofit or rehabilitation methods for them. However, when we conduct maintenance works, precise inspection and precise safety diagnosis, these defects had been neglected because those were considered as unimportant defects and caused from temporary weather and temperature change. In this study, two urban tunnels were analyzed to decide the range of tunnel which are influenced by outside temperature using a thermal camera, and to find out the causes of defects on these parts. From the results, the main points of maintenance were presented.

Study on Establishing Earthquake-resistance Reinforcement Measures for Earthquake Disasters in National Industrial Complexes (국가산업단지의 지진재난 내진보강대책 수립 연구)

  • Pupose: The purpose is to prepare safety management and seismic reinforcement measures that can effectively improve the potential risks of earthquake-resistant design and the deficiencies of safety guidance and inspection of factory facilities in national industrial complexes. Method: In this study, problems and improvement measures were derived through investigation and analysis of overall earthquake disaster safety management, such as safety management status and management system in preparation for earthquake disasters in national industrial complexes. was implemented to suggest improvement plans based on facility types and structural characteristics. Result: In conclusion, the problems of safety management and seismic reinforcement in preparation for earthquake disasters in national industrial complexes were summarized and classified into four types (seismic performance evaluation and related system supplementation, authority of tenant companies and local governments, seismic reinforcement and safety management support measures, organizational structure capacity building) to derive improvement measures. Conclusion: Based on this, seismic reinforcement measures that companies in national industrial complexes should implement in preparation for earthquake disasters were prepared, and detailed plans for each measure were presented.

The Practical Simplified Equation for Settlement Evaluation of Counter Facility in Soft Ground Centering on Rubble Mound (연약지반에 설치된 항만 외곽시설의 안전점검을 위한 침하 평가 간편식 제안 - 사석경사제 중심으로)

  • In this study, a simplified equation for settlement evaluation suitable for the special conditions of a counter facility is suggested. Recently, counter facilities, especially breakwaters, are constructed on soft ground in distant seas as new-port development projects. A counter facility that resists the external forces by self-weight settles easily when constructed on soft ground. Settlement in a counter facility and breakwater is not an important factor for maintenance than a land facility. On the other hand, the current settlement evaluation criteria are excessive for conducting a safety inspection. A settlement evaluation from a safety inspection followed by "Detailed Guidelines for a safety inspection on a counter facility" is used. A simplified equation was proposed to calculate the maximum settlement by applying the allowable residual settlement or settlement stability evaluation results. The suitability of the simplified equation was assessed compared to the assessed rating from the settlement survey results. The proposed simplified equation showed that the settlement evaluation rating had been upgraded. The proposed simplified equation is expected to be used to evaluate the practical structural stability and functional performance.

Image-Based Automatic Bridge Component Classification Using Deep Learning (딥러닝을 활용한 이미지 기반 교량 구성요소 자동분류 네트워크 개발)

  • Most bridges in Korea are over 20 years old, and many problems linked to their deterioration are being reported. The current practice for bridge inspection mainly depends on expert evaluation, which can be subjective. Recent studies have introduced data-driven methods using building information modeling, which can be more efficient and objective, but these methods require manual procedures that consume time and money. To overcome this, this study developed an image-based automaticbridge component classification network to reduce the time and cost required for converting the visual information of bridges to a digital model. The proposed method comprises two convolutional neural networks. The first network estimates the type of the bridge based on the superstructure, and the second network classifies the bridge components. In avalidation test, the proposed system automatically classified the components of 461 bridge images with 96.6 % of accuracy. The proposed approach is expected to contribute toward current bridge maintenance practice.

  • 최근 강구조물의 건설이 지속적으로 증가되어 왔다. 또한 강구조물의 유지관리 및 안전성에 대한 관심이 급증하고 있다. 시설물의 안전성 확보는 대형사고의 사전 예방, 공용 중 갑작스런 가동 중지에 의하여 발생되는 비용증가를 사전에 차단 할 수 있다는 점에서 그 중요성은 매우 크다고 할 수 있다. 또한 각종 구조물은 열악한 사용조건, 고온, 고압, 고속, 대형화됨에 따라 일단 사고가 발생 했을 경우 대형사고의 위험이 예상되므로, 제작시 검사의 강화뿐만이 아니라 공용 중 구조물의 안전성을 진단 할 수 있는 모니터링 체계의 확립이 필요한 시점이다. 현재 국내에서 강구조물들의 균열 모니터링 시스템에 관한 연구는 매우 미흡한 실정이며, 현재 사용되고 있는 비파괴검사 방법은 UT와 RT등이다. 이러한 방법들은 많은 시간과 경비가 소요되며 또한 거대구조물 혹은 사람의 접근이 어려운 곳에는 적용하기가 힘들다. 또한 주기적인 검사 작업으로 인한 막대한 시간과 비용의 손실이 발생되고 있으며 초기 결함을 조기에 인지하지 못함으로써 적절한 보수 보강 대책이 이루어지지 않아 보수 보강 비용의 증대를 초래한다. 더욱이, 결함이 진전된 이후에도 이것을 인지하지 못하여 적절한 대응을 하지 않는다면 대형사고로 이어질 수도 있다. 따라서 강구조물에 대한 효율적인 유지관리가 가능하고, 초기결함으로부터 균열이 진전하여 붕괴되는 사고를 미연에 방지하며 초기에 보수보강 작업을 수행함으로써 보수보강 비용도 절감 할 수 있는 모니터링 시스템의 개발이 요구되고 있다. 이러한 모니터링 시스템의 개발은 기술적 측면에서 강구조물의 효율적인 유지 관리 노하우를 얻을 수 있으며 경제 산업적 측면에서는 보수 보강 비용 및 불필요한 주기적 점검 비용을 절감 할 수 있다. 이 연구에서는 전위차법을 이용하여 강구조물의 필렛 용접부에서의 균열진전양상을 파악하고 정량화를 통해 필렛용접부의 잔여수명을 예측하였다.

Development a Process Model of Environment-friendly Demolition Works for Aged Housing Remodeling (친환경 리모델링 철거공사 프로세스 모델 개발)

  • Demolition work is a precedence activity that is performed earlier than other remodeling activities. And demolition work is one of the critical path activities. So, demolition work is needed for systematic plan and management. However, contractors of the remodeling project established a rough plan and did not consider recycling wastes, safety of workers and structural stable of building. To improve this problem, a eco-friend process model of remodeling project is needed to be established. The process model is composed of five phases; 1) survey and analysis of general condition of demolition work, 2) prepare documents of demolition work 3) establishing demolition work plan, 4) demolition and inspection, 5) post-demolition management. Especially, demolition documents are based on establishing WBS, selecting the equipment and method, waste management and structure reinforcement. A process model of eco-friend demolition work is developed by using IDEF0 method.

  • RFC3261에 정의된 SIP 프로토콜에는 보안 및 인증과정을 위한 동작 메커니즘을 정의하고 있다. 서비스 제공을 위한 인증이나 권한 점검을 위해서는 HTTP Digest방식이 가장 일반적이고 검증된 방식이긴 하나, 보안의 측면을 보았을 때 안전하지는 않으며, 서버와 단말 또는 단말간의 인증에만 사용되므로 완벽한 형태의 보안을 제공한다고 볼 수 없다. 이러한 보안상의 무결성, 안정성에 있어서의 기능을 충족시키기 위해 RFC3261의 후반부에서는 TLS와 S/MIME의 지원을 권장하고 있으며 현재 IETF에서 진행중인 draft나 각종 RFC에서도 보안 문제를 해결하기 위해 S/MIME과 TLS를 필요한 사항으로 정의하고 있다. 본 고에서는 S/MIME기능을 SIP프로토콜에 적용하기 위해 필요한 사항 등을 구현관점에서 바라볼 것이며, 이를 위해 해당 기능의 구현을 위해 사용된 구현구조 및 관련 API의 설명을 통해 접근하고자 한다.

Supporting System far Safe Appraisal and Management of Agricultural Structures using Relational Database and Geographic Information (관계형 데이터베이스와 지형정보를 이용한 농업구조물의 안전점검 및 이력관리 지원시스템)

  • Most of the agricultural structures are in shortage of feasible facility management because these structures are small in size and spacially distributed in rural area. Inspection tools based on visual inspections are generally used for agricultural structures in most of the countries, including Korea. It is necessary to survey data of the irrigation structures to maintain records, and to develop the interface program by constructing database of inspection data. This study was conducted to develop a system for safe appraisal and repair works on agricultural irrigation structures. Repair and rehabilitation method can be chosen from an optimum viewpoint if the information between the method and life-cycle management cost of agricultural structures is constructed in the database. In this study, the system assisting onsite field investigation and determining the typical rehabilitation method of typical agricultural structural problems such as fractures and cracks of members was developed.

  • The network architecture and analysis model for evaluating the information security are presented to distribute the reliable and secure multimedia digital contents. Using the firewall and IDS, the function of the proposed model includes the security range, related data collection/analysis, level evaluation and strategy proposal. To develop efficient automatic analysis tool, the inter-distribution algorithm and network design based on the traffic analysis between web-server and user are needed. Furthermore, the efficient algorithm and design of DRM/PKI also should be presented before the development of the automatic information security model.
