This study compared voice range profiles (VRPs) of modal and falsetto register in 53 dysphonic and 53 non-dysphonic adult women with gliding vowel /a/'. The results shows that maximum fundamental frequency (F0_MAX), maximum intensity (I_MAX), F0 range (F0_RANGE), and intensity range (I_RANGE) are lower in the dysphonic group than in the non-dysphonic group. F0_MAX and F0_RANGE are significantly higher in falsetto register than modal register in both groups. I_MAX and I_RANGE are significantly higher in falsetto register in the non-dysphonic group, but those are not different between two registers in the dysphonic group. There was no statistically significant difference in minimum F0 (F0_MIN) and minimum intensity (I_MIN) between the two groups. Modal-falsetto register transition occurred at 378.86 Hz (F4#) in the dysphonic group and 557.79 Hz (C5#) in the non-dysphonic group, which was significantly lower in the dysphonic group. It can be seen that both modal and falsetto registers in dysphonic adult women are reduced compared to non-dysphoinc adult women, indicating that the vocal folds of dysphonic adult women are not easy to vibrate in high pitches. The results of this study would be the basic data for understanding the acoustic features of voice disorders.

The purpose of this paper is to provide basic data for development of Korean teaching programs for immigrant women from multicultural families through the acoustic analysis of their prosodic phrasing and intonation pattern. The results showed that immigrant women showed some differences in most of the prosodic characteristics from a Korean women's group: Immigrant women realized the first word of a sentence in an intonational phrase while Korean women did in an accentual phrase. They also haven't yet correctly learned the tone type of the first of an accentual phrase which differs depending on the type of its first segment yet. As a result, they showed many diverse intonation patterns compared to Korean women. Furthermore, the immigrant women's groups showed some differences between them in a few prosodic characteristics. Philippine women, whose residence duration in Korea is relatively longer than that of Vietnamese women, were more similar to Korean women: Vietnamese women read a sentence with a larger number of intonational phrases than Philippine women did. And they realized sentence-final boundary tone of a yes-no question not only in 'H%' but also in 'HL%' while, like Korean women, Philippine women did only in 'H%'.

본 논문에서는 입력된 음성이 남성화자인지 여성화자인지를 구분하는 FFT 스펙트럼 및 LPC 켑스트럼 입력에 의한 성별인식 알고리즘을 제안한다. 본 논문에서는 특히 남성화자와 여성화자의 특징벡터를 비교 분석하여, 이러한 남녀의 음향학적인 특징벡터의 차이점을 이용하여 신경회로망에 의한 성별 인식에 대한 실험을 수행한다. 특히 12차의 LPC 켑스트럼 및 8차의 저역 FFT 스펙트럼의 특징벡터를 사용한 경우에, 남성화자 및 여성화자에 대해서 양호한 남녀 성별인식률이 구해졌다.

Purpose: The aim of the current study was to compare the vegetable and fruit intake between one person households and those living with family. Methods: The 24-hour recall data of 14,914 persons over 20 years old who participated in the Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES) from 2010 to 2012 were used for the final analysis. Consumption of non-salted vegetables and fruits (${\geq}400g/day$), fruits (${\geq}200g/day$), and kimchi (${\geq}120g/day$) was compared between one person households and those living with family. Logistic regression models were used to assess the associations between potential determinants and adequate vegetable and fruit intake. Results: After additional adjustments for age, household income, and total energy intake, no statistically significant differences in likelihood of low intake of nonsalted vegetable and fruit and kimchi were observed between one person households and those living with family. (Nonsalted vegetables and fruits: odds ratio (OR) = 1.15, 95% confidence interval (CI) = 0.79-1.68 for the men; OR = 1.25, 95% CI = 0.98-1.59 for women). However one person households have greater likelihood of low intake of kimchi than those living with family in women (OR = 1.72, 95% CI = 1.31-2.26). Conclusion: Although there were no differences in likelihood of low intake of non-salted vegetables and between individuals living alone and those living with family, women of one person households were great likelihood of low intake of kimchi compared to those living with family.

The purpose of this study is to analyze current condition and features of female development funds of Busan primary local self-government, and to make useful implications out of this so that the local female development funds can contribute to its ultimate purpose, which is to achieve female development. The analyses show that 1) local self-governmental districts with good finance try to reserve funds by reducing programs; 2) local laws, which serve as the legal basis of female development fund utilization, do not reflect the value of gender equality; 3) the programs run by the female development funds lack contents; 4) beneficiaries of the fund programs aremixed; and 5) female policies and family policies are not separated, exhibiting the limitations of feministic perspectives. I propose that 1) the fund should be raised through the governance of local female groups and self-governments; 2) basic local laws should be revised: 3) gender perspective contents and birth support policy should be implemented.
