  • 자동 부하 전환 개폐기는 일반적으로 주 전원의 전압 상태를 감시하여 주 전원의 정전이나, 저 전압 이 감지 될 때 주 전원을 개방시키고, 예비 전원으로 신속하게 전환 시킬 수 있는 구동 메커니즘이 필요하며, 주 전원이 정상 상태로 복구되면 다시 예비 전원에서 주 전원으로의 신속한 전환이 요구 되어진다. 본 논문에서 연구되는 자동 부하 전환 개폐기의 구동부는 1개의 구동력으로 2개 선로의 스위치를 동시에 조작하게 할 수 있는 링크 구조와 동작 원리를 간지고 있으며, 이 동작을 안정적이고 신뢰도 높게 조작하기 위해서 개폐기 구동부의 동특성을 구현할 수 있는 동적 모델로 검증하여 재작하였다. 보다 정확한 모델 수립을 위하여 기구 동작 시에 발생하는 부품들 사이의 충돌, 마찰, 유연성 등의 많은 동적특성들을 정밀하게 모사 할 수 있는 유연 다물체 동역학을 적용하였으며, 검증하였다.

A Precision Rotational Device using Piezoelectric Elements and Impact Drive Mechanism (압전소자와 충격구동 메커니즘을 이용한 초정밀 회전장치)

  • This paper describes the design, construction, and fundamental testing of a precision rotational device that utilizes piezoelectric elements as a source of driving force and impact drive mechanism as a driving principle. A novel device structure is designed and the numerical simulations about the static displacement, stress distribution, and mode shape of the designed structure are performed. A fabricated rotational device has been rotated successfully by applying saw-shaped voltages to the piezoelectric elements. The one-step rotational angle was $0.44{\times}10^{-3}$ rad at the applied voltages of 80V. The angular velocities of the device were revealed to be increased as the driving frequency and voltage were respectively increased and the preload was decreased. The device has a feature that it can be translated as well as rotated. An experimental result shows that the device was translated by ${\pm}4.56{\mu}m$ maximum when the 120V sinusoidal voltages with a phase difference of $180^{\circ}$ were respectively supplied to two piezoelectric elements.

  • In precision laser microfabrication, focusing is essential to acquire good machining precision and uniform machining quality. If it does not perform, laser machining cannot be realized. So, confocal scanning method with high depth resolution is used for focus detection technique. This paper is concerned with a procedure for design, analysis and performance test of an autofocus fine actuating stage, which is composed of flexure-hinge type lever mechanism and piezoelectric actuator. Through series of analytical design, the stage is simplified as a rigid bodies(lever and main body) and springs(flexure hinges). The simplified model was applied to determine the dimension of flexure hinges and lever. After structural analysis confirmed design requirement, an actual stage was made and verified through an experiment on the static and dynamic characteristics(maximum stroke and 1st natural frequency). The fabricated stage was satisfied with the design requirement.

Rubrene 발광층을 가진 유기발광소자의 전자 포획 메커니즘

  • 유기발광소자는 다른 디스플레이에 비해 높은 명암비와 색재현성의 장점을 갖는 차세대 디스플레이로서, 얇은 박막 특성을 가지고 있기때문에 모바일용 디스플레이 기술로 많이 사용되고 있다. 하지만 낮은 발광효율, 높은 구동전압 및 전압에 따른 색좌표 변화의 문제점을 가지고 있어 이를 극복하기 위한 많은 연구가 진행되고 있다. 유기 발광 소자의 발광효율을 높이며 구동 전압을 낮추기 위해 호스트물질에 다양한 도펀트를 도핑하고 있다. 높은 발광효율을 가지는 도펀트인 5,6,11,12-tetraphenylnaphthacene (rubrene)을 사용한 유기발광소자는 rubrene의 안정된 분자 에너지 레벨로 인해 전자들이 포획되는 현상이 나타나 효율이 감소되는 원인이 규명되지 않았다. 본 연구에서는 rubrene을 발광층으로 사용하여, 전공수송층인 N,N_-bis-(1-naphthyl)-N,N_-diphenyl-1,1-biphenyl-4,4-diamine (NPB)의 두께에 따른 I-V 변화와 전계발광 스펙트럼를 분석하여 두께에 따른 rubrene의 전자 포획를 관찰하였다. rubrene보다 큰 lowest unoccupied molecular orbital 에너지를 갖는 NPB와 에너지장벽으로 낮은 highest occupied molecular orbital 에너지를 갖는 4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline을 각각 교차되게 적층한 유기발광소자의 I-V 변화와 전자 전공 재결합층의 위치변화에 따른 전계발광 스펙트럼을 비교 분석하였다. 이 결과는 발광층 내부의 rubrene의 상대적인 위치와 에너지장벽과의 상관관계에 따른 전자 포획 메커니즘을 이해하는데 도움 줄 것이다.

  • Motorized retractors enhance the safety of passengers by removing the slack of webbing and by holding upright driving position. Reliability of a driving mechanism that includes one-way clutch between the driving motor and webbing is directly linked to the safety of passenger. In this research, conditions for locking one-way clutch, and also conditions for sustaining locking are theoretically investigated. The operation of a motorized retractor under realistic conditions is simulated in order to validate the proposed retractor design.

  • 유연성 있고 확장성 있는 분산 어플리케이션을 작성하기 위해서는 다음과 같은 요건을 만족하는 서비스 개발 및 관리를 위한 프레임워크이 필요하다. 첫 번째 서비스들은 외부적인 어떤 정책이나 어플리케이션 구동 시 다양한 제한 등의 요인으로 인하여 선택적으로 서비스 사용이 가능해야 한다. 둘째로 서비스에 대해서 초기화, 구동, 임시정지, 정지 등과 같은 제어를 중앙 집중형태로 관리 콘솔에서 관리 할 수 있어야 한다. 세 번째로 서비스를 제어할 때 각 서비스들 사이의 의존관계를 반영할 수 있어야 한다. 네 번째로 이러한 분산어플리케이션의 서비스에 대한 환경 설정 부분에 대한 변경을 실시간으로 탐지를 해서 이러한 변경과 관계가 있는 서비스에게 통지를 할 수 있어야 한다. 다섯 번째로 한 어플리케이션 안에서 구동되고 있는 의존관계가 있는 각 서비스들 사이의 이벤트 기반의 통신을 메커니즘이 필요하다. 여섯번째로 환경 설정 변경에 대해서 분산 상황에서 다른 어플리케이션과 동기화를 맞출 수 있어야 한다. 본 논문은 이러한 유연하고 확장성 있는 어플리케이션을 개발하는데 필요한 자바 기반의 동적 서비스 관리 프레임워크에 대한 설계와 구현을 제시한다.

Design and Evaluation of a Low-floor Care-bed for Elderly People (고령자용 저상 요양침대의 설계 및 평가)

  • It was hard for a conventional care-bed to be realized to a low-floor position due to a complex actuation mechanism installed under the mattress support platform. In this paper a mechanism design to set a low-floor position as well as to adjust back- and leg-rest angles was proposed. A dual motor was applied to the back- and leg-rest mechanism of which design parameters were determined by an optimal method. An elevation mechanism was also designed to enlarge a limited stroke range up to two times of its original stroke using a pulley mechanism. An evaluation test was performed by five healthy subjects ($24.4{\pm}0.5yrs.$) when going up from a floor position to a preset best position which was set to the 240mm height for a prototype low-floor bed and to the 600mm height for a conventional bed. As a result, the moving distance was 38% lower than the conventional bed when the subject used the low-floor bed. It showed that the low-floor care-bed reduced physical burdens and was effective to assist activities of daily living of the elderly people.

Design of Driving Control Unit and Milking Robot Manipulator (착유로봇 매니퓰레이터와 구동제어장치 설계)

  • The milking robot system is very important to detect correctly the teats position in the moving condition of cow. Also, the robot manipulator must control tracking the teat cup to the detected teat position. The presented milking robot is designed using the one point laser sensor for teat position detection. The teats of cow are detected by the laser scanning unit and the manipulator has the function of 3 axes moving control unit. The presented teat detection method and the electrical driving manipulator have the advantages of a simple, low cost and very quiet. The designed manipulator is realized by the totally electrical motor and servo poison control algorithm with velocity PID compensation. The presented robot is realized using the teat detection unit, 4 teat cups, 3 axes robot arm, 6 servo motors and automatic milking control line. The designed robot is experimented in the cow farm and is satisfied with the designed performance specification for milking robot manipulator.

  • We propose a variable frame structure connected with telescopic mast-shaped shaft for a robot displaying outstanding ability to cross obstacles, and for effective traction control. The wireless control system was built to extend and contract a deployable mechanism, which is shaped into a hoberman sphere assembled with frame structures. In order to develop important parameters for efficient locomotion, we derived an Euler-Lagrange equation for the spherical robot. According to the equation, the DC motor was selected. A prototype mechanism was tested and a Finite-Element Analysis (FEA) was conducted in parallel. Using these data, we constructed a deployable spherical robot with structural stability. The deployable robot moved at a speed of 0.85 m/s from 520 mm to 650 mm.

  • This paper presents a low-cost robotic device for shoulder rehabilitation, which is capable of treating various shoulder disabilities. A 3-DOF passive shoulder joint tracking module was designed to allow for translational motion of the shoulder joint center during arm swing, which is essential for natural shoulder movement. The weight of the user's arm and the device were compensated for by springs, to enable gravity-free shoulder motion. In order to reduce the device's cost, only one actuator was used, which can be aligned with the user's shoulder joint in various orientations. The device is capable of implementing five representative shoulder motions, including flexion/extension, abduction/adduction, horizontal abd/adduction, internal/external rotation, and oblique raise. The proposed low-cost shoulder rehabilitation robot is expected to provide effective rehabilitation for patients with various shoulder impairments.
