  • Technical regulation of harm prevention for power line communication prescribes the technical matters to protect human and other equipment from power line communication equipment. Unified operation of technical regulation of power line communication and line facility installation is more efficient in content. This paper is to discuss the technical background of national PLC system and the direction of reforming related techinal regulations.

  • This paper investigates the network throughput of PLC (Power Line Communication) system in the in-building network. The OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) modulation format and adaptive bit loading algorithm is used to minimize the effect of signal loss and noise on transmission performance in the power line channel characterized by frequency selective fading. The network throughput of the PLC system which consists of gateway and CPE(Customer Premise Equipment) PLC modem in the in-building network is measured by network performance measurement tool, iperf and analyzed according to the TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) window size.

  • In this paper, a new interference-free Home CDMA-PLC(Code Division Multiple Access-Power Line Communication) system based on the binary ZCD(Zero Correlation Duration) spreading code is proposed as a key solution to overcome the previous problems. Binary ZCD spreading code sets with enlarged family sizes are generated by carrying out a chip-shift operation of the preferred pairs. The properties or the proposed ZCD-PLC systems are effective for MPI(Multi-Path Interference) and MAI (Multiple Access Interference) cancellation in the CDMA-PLC systems. By BER performance simulation, we certified the availability of proposed ZCD-CDMA-PLC system.

  • The position of the bridged tap is determined by that of the outlet in most modern apartments, since most of the indoor wiring utilizes the bus wiring structure when deploying the indoor communication line. These bridged taps deteriorate transmission performance in the specific frequency at the time of high-speed multimedia communication, which uses a high frequency bandwidth, since the duality of return loss worsens and line attenuation increases rapidly. As a result, analysis on this phenomenon is required. In this study, the test model is created by modeling the intercommunication facility of the apartment that is the most representative residential house type, and by understanding the structure and the environment of the indoor wiring. Also, how the bridge tap affects performance is analyzed when the VDSL service is provided, so that problems of intercommunication lines can be identified and methods for improving the proper intercommunication line can be suggested, which is suitable for accommodating high-speed multimedia service of the future.

  • 전력계통망 및 수용가는 다양한 형태의 전력케이블 및 전력선이 연계된 분 배전망을 형성하고 있다. 특히, 이렇게 구성된 분 배전망은 하나의 전력계통으로서 연계된 전력망을 형성하고 있으며, 이를 전력선통신의 인프라로 활용할 수 있다. 최근 들어, 전력선통신 기술에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있으며, 계통에 연계된 부하와 분기선로 그리고 매질의 특성에 따라 통신환경이 달라진다. 특히 전송 주파수에 따른 신호의 감쇠, 연계된 부하의 종류와 이들 부하로 인한 잡음원의 유입 및 전송신호의 왜곡 등이 주요한 채널환경 요소이다. 본 논문에서는 상기 나열한 한계점을 극복하기 위한 대안으로 전력선 및 케이블의 매질특성을 평가하고, 이에 따른 전송신호의 영향을 분석, 연계된 다양한 부하들의 변동에 따른 통신환경의 변화 영향 그리고 통신성능에 미치는 영향을 분석하였으며, 또한 전력 케이블 및 선로의 특성과 부하변동 특성을 반영하여 구내용 전력케이블 기반의 UWB(Ultra Wide Band) 통신용 채널 환경을 모델링하는 방안을 제안하고자 한다.

  • 타석증을 동반한 만성 악하선 타액선염의 경우 악하선 적출은 일반적인 치료 방법이다. 일반적으로 악하선 적출술은 수술의 용이성, 수술시야의 확보 등의 장점으로 구강외접근에 의해서 시행되어져 왔다. 그러나 시대적으로 심미적인 요구가 증대되고 있는 요즈음 구외 접근으로 인한 술후 반흔은 구외접근법의 가장 결정적인 단점이라 할 수 있다. 또한 설하선과 함께 적출하여야 할 경우 구내접근과 구외접근을 동시에 실시할 경우 술후 치유과정상의 후유증을 유발할 수도 있다. 반면에 구강내 접근에 의한 악하선의 적출은 수술상의 고도의 난이도로 수술자체의 어려움은 있으나 구강의 반흔을 남기지 않아 심미적으로 만족할 만한 결과를 얻을 수 있다. 이에 본 저자 등은 타석증을 동반한 악하선 타액선염의 환자에 있어 구내 접근으로 악하선 및 설하선 적출술을 시행하여 좋은 결과를 얻었기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.

  • Demarcation point is technical regulation for preventing conflict and improving the efficiency of the maintenance by discriminating facility area between telecommunication operator and telecommunication user. Since current demarcation point is defined on the basis of the telephone network, it is necessary to examine the applicability to various connection methods for the introduction of new services and facilities. This paper is to discuss for the domestic and international regulations of the demarcation point, and matters to be taken into account.

  • 이 논문에서는 공장에서의 생산관리 및 구내 배전선로의 부하상태 관리용으로 개발한 다목적 실시간 원격 계측시스템을 제안하고 있다. 개발된 실시간 원격 계측시스템을 필요한 정보를 수집하는 원격단말장치와 수집된 정보를 제어 및 RS485 통신을 이용하여 정보를 전송하고 사용자 중심으로 그래픽 관리하는 호스트로 구성되어 있다. 특히, 기 설치된 생산설비에 대한 원격 생산관리 기능을 보유한 시스템을 확장하여, 이를 구내 배전선로에서 각 구간/선로별 전압, 전류, 누설전류 등의 정보 검출한다. 각 구간/선로별 전력, 전압, 전류 등 부하 운영상태 및 누설전류 등의 고장원인을 검출함으로써 전기화재 및 감전사고를 예방할 수 있는 감시 시스템을 제안하였다.

Evaluation the absorbed dose in brain of dental radiography (치과방사선 검사에서 두부(brain)의 흡수선량 평가)

  • This study was aimed to evaluate the absorbed dose in brain of dental radiography. For radiographic exposure, PLD(photoluminescence dosimetry) chips placed in Rando phantom to measurement the absorbed dose to pituitary gland, orbit, maxillary sinus and submandibular glands, thyroid gland, esophagus. Equipments were used Kodak 2200, Kodak 8000C dental radiographic systems and computed tomography(Lightspeed VCT). The absorbed doses were measured at the same exposure parameters and distance by the clinical factor(kV, mA, sec). The result were as follows ; The absorbed dose for intra-oral radiography were 0.02~2.47cGy, the greatest absorbed dose was 2.47cGy for thyroid gland in maxillary right molar projection. the lowest adsorbed dose was 0.02cGy for submandibular glands in lower anterior projection. The absorbed dose for extra-oral radiography were 0.36~3.44cGy of cephalometric method, 0.14~12.82cGy of panoramic method, 8.17~253.63cGy of computed tomography, the greatest adsorbed dose was 253.63cGy for submandibular glands in maxillary CT scan. the lowest adsorbed dose was 0.14cGy for orbit in panoramic method. As a result, extra-oral radiography was measured more than intra-oral radiography. In particular, method which used computed tomography was measured more than 100 times than intra-oral radiography highly. Therefore, you must show a guideline in extra-oral radiography and an effort to reduce absorbed dose is demanded.
