  • Human bite injury to the eyelid is extremely rare and poses a significant challenge in surgical reconstruction. We report an extremely rare case of human bite injury to the eyelid in a 43-year-old male with approximately 60% full thickness loss of the upper eyelid and 80% to 90% full thickness loss of the lower eyelid and its successful reconstruction using the local advancement cheek flap.

  • Fractures of the mandibular condyle are account for between 26% and 57% of all mandibular fractures. Clinicians should decide how to treat the fractured condyle with many factors considered. Many surgical methods have been developed to reduction of fractured condyle and it' s internal fixation. In open reduction of fractured condylar neck and subcondyle, retromandibular approach offers a safe and effective approach for direct fixation due to easy access and low surgical morbidity.

  • Midline craniofacial dermoids are rare lesions resulting from the abnormal fusion of embryologic structures. The clinical features of craniofacial dermoid cysts show a range of presentations, including infection, asymptomatic puncti, or seizure secondary to intracranial invasion. Appropriate management involves an accurate diagnosis of the dermoid cyst and a complete resection.

  • Autogenous tooth bone graft material contains organic and inorganic components for osteoinductive and osteoconductive healing. The clinical availability and safety of this material have been confirmed by various experimental and clinical studies. In the future, allogenic and xenogenic tooth bone graft materials, ideal scaffold using teeth for stem cells and bone growth factors, and endodontic and tooth restorative material will be developed.

  • Schwannoma(neurilemmoma) is a benign neoplasm that originates from the Schwann cells. Schwannoma most commonly arises in the soft tissue of the head and neck. Intraoral lesions are uncommon, however, and intraosseous schwannoma are even rare. The most common site of occurrence for these unusual lesions is the mandible. This article documents a case of an intraosseous schwannoma located in the mandibular ascending ramus. The lesion was surgically removed and no radiographic evidence of recurrence was observed after 1 year.
