Importance-Performance Analysis of Multiplex Cinema Attributes (멀티플랙스 영화관 선택속성의 중요도-성취도 분석)

  • This research aims to analyze the importance-performance among multiplex cinema selection attributes. Therefore, we collected data for visitors who visited the multiplex cinema and want to watch movies. Of the various multiplex cinema selection attributes, four factors were deduced that includes: major services, human services, physical environment, auxiliary services using exploratory factor analysis. In the quadrant I, the area of 'Concentrate Here' was 'diversity of screening time', 'diversity of movie genre', 'convenience of mobile app use', 'size and convenience of parking facility'. In the quadrant II, 'Keep up the Good Work' area was 'convenience of website booking', 'discounts through card partnerships', 'employee friendliness', 'accurate employee information delivery', 'comfortable seating', 'screen size', 'cinematic sound quality', and 'convenience of traffic' etc. The quadrant III, 'Low Priority' appeared to be 'membership system', 'tidiness of staff attire', 'resting space for waiting time', 'accessibility to the neighboring area', 'diversity of the snack corner', and 'overall cleanliness' etc. The quadrant IV, 'Possible Overkill' was 'appropriateness of the auditorium temperature' and 'service proficiency'.

Connectivity Management of a Pedestrian Smartphone App in the Cyber-Physical Intersection Systems (CPIS) (사이버-물리 교차로 시스템에서 보행자를 위한 스마트폰 앱의 연결성 관리)

  • In this paper, we introduce the concept of cyber-physical intersection systems (CPIS) which interconnects roadside units (RSU) located at the intersection, on-board units (OBU) of moving vehicles, and the smartphone apps, named the Smartphone Agent (SA). At the pedestrian mode of the SA, the connectivity management schemes, such as a location update and a handover control algorithm, are proposed to better support the CPIS services while minimizing the power consumption of the pedestrian's smartphone. We develop a real prototype of the CPIS, including RSU, OBU, and the SA. Based on the numerical results collected from a pedestrian moving around the Pusan National University campus, we validate that the proposed connectivity management schemes can improve not only the power efficiency of the pedestrian's smartphone, but also the quality of the CPIS services.

  • Recently, most of the modern people used a second mobile device(two degree mobile device). Mobile devices are affecting all areas of human life, consumer electronics, transportation, manufacturing, and finance. On this paper, we propose a model-driven development based interaction model that can be used in the development of mobile payment system, which is the latest buzzword pins of the various application fields of mobile devices Tech (Fin-Tech) sector. Using a model-driven development based models do not depend on the Platforms (PIM), we propose a model for interaction between devices which can be reused when developing mobile billing app. A model-driven development based mobile applications use the reusable of interaction models development program analyzed the bus fees automatic payment application by a beacon.

  • In this paper, it is possible to update the tourist information in real time, on/off-line tour proposes a solution(BBTS) based on a bluetooth beacon can provide tourist information without the need for wireless data network. BBTS consists of a bluetooth based data of the low-power supply system and the beacons and interoperable smart applications. Data supply system consists of the BLE & Beacon Pairing-based / non-pairing data transmission module with integral hardware. Smart application modules that provide indoor location of users information, internal server module and tourist information collection and information guide around comprised of applications. The proposed BBTS is possible that indoor service tourism tourist demand due to utilizing the beacon technology. Outdoor tourist information is designed to be downloaded to the smartphone receives the information received from the beacon APK file to provide services. BBTS system is expected to make a big impact on the smart tourism services industry.

Implementing Accessible Themed Roads through the Analysis of Electric Wheelchair User Experiences

  • In this paper, we propose a barrier-free course route navigation service named "Theme Road" aimed at improving the mobility and convenience for elderly electric wheelchair users with walking disabilities. To achieve this goal, we conducted a user survey through shadowing and in-depth interviews to gather insights on the challenges experienced by elderly electric wheelchair users. We identified potential solutions for each inconvenience through co-creation workshops, resulting in a set of design considerations and app functionalities. Using persona development and service scenarios, we designed and implemented the "Theme Road" service as a dedicated navigation application for barrier-free course navigation. Unlike conventional route navigation and mapping services, our study stands out by offering a unique approach that combines recommended destinations and safe routes based on experiential analysis from elderly electric wheelchair users.
