TPEG Application as a Protocol of Traffic Information for DMB in Korea (TPEG의 국내 DMB 교통정보 전송형식 적용 가능성 연구)

  • Traffic information protocol in DMB is very different from existing analog broadcasting and wireless communication network. In this paper, we examined whether traffic information protocol of Europe Broadcasting Union(TPEG) is applicable to domestic DMB. Also, we proposed a division of classification on kinds of franc information, and related data that it is required to transmit traffic information of TPEG form. We composed of experiment equipment and studied whether is expressed traffic informations as like accident, event, traffic condition and CCTV image on car navigation system. The results obtained it can be given expression to phrases from TPEG streaming data and to link with electronics map by decoding TPEG straming data. Also it can be expressed CCTV and graphic image which is composed of TPEG form.

  • While public institutions and privite coperations have constructed the data collecting infrastructure and commercialized it to service traffic information, inaccuracy with information, insufficiency with the public sector, overapping investment and the rest are arising from the differences of data treatment, offering method, communication protocal and the like. For these reasons, we need standardization it as a national enterprise. In this paper, we would like to present the unity management and joint method of traffic information based on the present position of system construction and national ITS standardization. At first, we presented the relation between data elements and message sets and then analyzed how message sets have been used to message sets to share traffic information so far in public institutions and private coperations like Korea freeway cooperation-ITS model city-Cheonan-Nonsan expressway, In-cheon international airport expressway-Korea freeway cooperation and Seoul metropolitan police agency-Seoul metropolitan government. As the results of analyzing message sets, it had disclosed that data transmission is impossible or a system is unchangeable because data form and each items to transmission were different from each other and its own address and link IDS were not determined yet. Also it showed these message sets did not abidy by The Draft of National ITS Standards. First of all, we proposed data basic form and elements which were form by items used in each center in common and the elements to manage traffic information suggested by Standards based on the results of analyses.

  • 본 논문은 개인용 휴대장비인 디지털카메라등을 통하여 차량의 앞/뒤 번호판을 자동인식하며 인식된 결과를 텍스트 형식으로 결과를 사용자에게 통보함은 물론, 입력된 차량의 정보를 부호화하고 통신망을 통하여 원격지 서버로 전달하고 원격지 서버는 복호화과정을 거쳐 전송된 텍스트 형태의 차량번호를 확인하여 차량에 대한 정보를 제공하는 시스템이다. 이는 급증하는 차량범죄 및 차량통제, 도난차량검거, 수배차량추적등 많은 분야에 효과적으로 사용이 가능하며 무선 및 도로교통에 많은 편의성과 효율성을 제고할 수 있다고 사료된다.

  • In the transportation sector, reducing total vehicle mileage and passenger vehicle traffic are proposed as strategies to achieve carbon neutrality. To achieve this, MaaS services must be actively promoted with the goal of revitalizing public transportation. In order to promote MaaS, individual movement data is required, such as the individual's means of movement, route, and conversion of the individual's means of use. However, in Korea, there are legal limitations in collecting and utilizing data on individual movements. As the right to request transmission of personal information was newly established in the revised Personal Information Protection Act in 2023, a law was established to collect and utilize data on individual movements. However, enforcement ordinance, detailed rules, instructions, guidelines must be prepared, and the standardization of data format and transmission system for collecting my data needs to take precedence.

Review on Security Communication Environment in Intelligent Vehicle Transport System (지능형 차량 교통체계에서 보안 통신 리뷰)

  • In this paper, we have interested in cooperative intelligent transport system and autonomous driving system, and focused on analysis of the characteristics of Cooperative Awareness Message (CAM) and Decentralized Environmental Notification Basis Service (DENM) message, which is key delivery message among cooperative intelligent transport system (C-ITS) characteristics for research objectivity. For research method, we also described V2X communication, and also analyzed the security certificate and header structure of CAM and DENM messages. We described CAM message, which is a message informing the position and status of the vehicle. And the DENM message is presented a message informing an event such as a vehicle accident, and analysis security communication, which is supported services. According to standard analysis result, 186 bits or 275 bits are used. In addition to the security header and the certificate format used for vehicle communication, we have gained the certificate verification procedure for vehicles and PKI characteristics for vehicles. Also We derived the characteristics and transmission capability of the security synchronization pattern required for V2X secure communication. Therefore when it is considered for communication service of DENM and CAM in the C-ITS environment, this paper may be meaningful result.

Dynamic Interest Management in Web Simulation for Intelligent Transportation System (지능형 교통 시스템을 위한 동적 정보관리 시뮬레이션)

  • Simulation methods are being studied for various service models that can be used in industries as the development of web technology. DEVS is being used as a tool to simulate through scenarios using various information. In addition, DEVS/WS integrates web-based DEVS models through a distributed computing environment and can be used as tools for high-performance computing and data distribution. This paper describes a method for simulating an intelligent transportation system in DEVS/WS environment. This paper propose dynamic interest management model(DIMM) applied the genetic algorithm, manage efficiently road information of moving node. And, this paper evaluates performance of the dynamic interest management model in comparing to the none interest management model(NIMM). The transmitted messages and simulation time of the DIMM is saved than that of the NIMM.
