Optimal Route Determination Technology based on Trajectory Querying Moving Object Database (과거 궤적정보를 이용한 경로 산출 방법)

  • 위치기반서비스(LBS)에서는 사람, 차량과 같은 이동체의 위치 정보를 획득하며, 이동객체 DBMS의 개발로 이동체가 움직인 궤적 정보를 효율적으로 저장 관리할 수 있다. 이동객체 DBMS에 저장된 이동체가 실제 움직인 과거 궤적정보는 다양한 형태로 가공되어 활용이 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 이동체의 과거 궤적정보를 이용하여 경로 안내를 위한 경로 산출 방법에 대하여 제안한다. 기존의 경로 안내는 교통정보 수집 장치를 통해 획득한 교통 정보를 이용하여 경로를 산출하는 방식이 많이 사용되고 있어, 교통 정보가 없는 곳에서는 단순 초행길 안내 수준이다. 그러나, 본 논문에서 제안하는 방법은 고비용이 소요되는 교통정보수집장치가 없는 곳에 대해서도 과거 차량의 움직인 궤적정보를 이용하여 보다 효율적인 경로 안내를 할 수 있는 장점이 있다.

  • 이 논문은 공공 빅 데이터를 활용하여 '서울자전거 따릉이'를 기반으로 자전거 교통 데이터베이스 시스템을 제작하고, 제작한 데이터베이스 시스템을 활용하는 예시를 보여주고 있습니다. 데이터베이스 시스템의 제작 과정을 통하여 데이터베이스 설계, 데이터 수집, 제작 및 가공 과정, 데이터베이스 시스템의 유용한 활용 예시를 확인할 수 있습니다. 버스, 택시와 같이 따릉이와 연계할 수 있는 다양한 대중교통 데이터를 추가로 활용한다면 더욱 정확하게 따릉이의 발전방향과 혼잡한 교통 환경 개선을 제시할 수 있는 유용한 정보를 도출할 수 있을 것이다.

  • 본 논문에서는 교통 이력자료의 시공간 데이터를 활용하여 교통 분석 및 예측에 필요한 신뢰성 높은 데이터를 제공하기 위한 TCS/HI-PASS 전처리 알고리즘을 제안한다. 시공간 데이터의 전처리 알고리즘은 각종 교통정보에 이용되고 있으며, 그 중 대표적으로 활용되고 있는 것이 차량 검지기(VDS)를 통해 수집된 교통량, 속도, 점유율 정보이다. 이러한 정보에 가공처리 알고리즘을 적용하여 공간평균속도 기반의 통행시간을 산정하고 있으며, 고속도로 통행료 수납시스템(TCS)으로 부터는 출발영업소와 도착영업소의 진 출입시간을 기반으로 평균통행시간을 산정하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 차량 검지기(VDS) 데이터와 기존 TCS 데이터의 전처리 알고리즘을 분석하여 TCS와 HI-PASS 데이터 기반의 개선된 전처리 알고리즘을 설계, 구현하였다.

  • Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) is aimed to implement IT(Information Technology) to develop the next-generation transportation system in order to improve traffic conditions. In order to provide traffic information, the methods that provide available traffic informations to the public are needed. In this paper, analysis of the transportation applications in smart-phone and currently available methods of traffic information's sharing and providing were discussed. Finally, OPEN API was discussed and shows its effectiveness for transportation information area especially in smart phone.

  • We propose a traffic information service for which traffic data are collected over ad-hoc networks from neighbor vehicles, processed to minimize the data size, and eventually provided to its destination. The proposed scheme simply relies on the existing navigtion systems in vehicles and wireless communication devices for vehicle-to-vehicle communication, rather than on a separately established server. It allows collecting and analyzing traffic status of large areas without incorporating separated monitoring systems, e.g., probe cars and enables to provide accurate traffic information to drivers in timely manner. We also evaluate its performance by ns-3 simulation.

  • Traffic information is considered as one of the core contents of the terrestrial DMB. This paper proposes and implements the data broadcasting system, which automatically collects data and transmits the contents in order to provide traffic information promptly The proposed data broadcasting system comprises the following three subsystems: 1 he traffic information integration system for collecting and processing data in real-time, the traffic information authoring system for automatically creating and verifying the contents, and the traffic information transmission system for transmitting the created contents. We describe these subsystems in detail about their functionality, components and interoperability. The proposed data broadcasting system provides the HWS type contents as the PAD data of the terrestrial DMB audio broadcast. Finally, we describe our implementation of the data broadcasting system, and suggest further improvements that need to be made.

  • The development and demand for the system that provides users with traffic information and efficient road use have continued. also, this system provides the basic technology of the Intelligent Transport System (ITS). The most used traffic information collection tools are Vehicle detectors (VDS) and short-range wireless communication (DSRC) on express way. In order to generate reliable traffic information, it is necessary to efficiently manage and utilize the collected data as well as high-quality traffic data collection and processing technology. In this study, traffic information collection·processing·provision systems were investigated, and analyze the current status and problems of traffic information collected through VDS. Based on this, we would like to present an improved collection algorithm that utilizes the Kalman filter for vehicle information measurement of VDS data. By using the algorithm of this study, it is possible to minimize the time delay of the estimated value as well as the noise removal that inevitably occurs during measurement.

  • Real-time queueing information and/or predictive queue built-up information can be a good criterion in selecting travel options, such as routes, both for users, and for operators in operating transportation system. Provided properly, it will be a key information for reducing traffic congestion. Also, it helps drivers be able to select optimal roues and operators be able to manage the system effectively as a whole. To produce the predictive queue information, this paper proposes a predictive model for estimating and predicting queue lengths, mainly based on Kalman Filter. It has a structure of having state space model for predicting queue length which is set as observational variable. It has been applied for the Namsan first tunnel and the application results indicate that the model is quite reasonable in its efficacy and can be applicable for various ATIS system architecture. Some limitations and future research agenda have also been discussed.

  • This study proposed a speed management strategy for the enhancement of traffic safety on freeways. A novel feature of the proposed strategy is to provide desirable speed information to individual vehicles. A microscopic traffic simulator, VISSIM, was used for the performance evaluation. Vehicle trajectory data were used to evaluate the various speed management scenarios including the different levels of proportions of heavy vehicles. The proposed speed management strategy would be a useful precursor for developing an effective traffic control and operations system to prevent traffic accidents on freeways.
