본 연구는 병원전 단계 기도기 시뮬레이션 교육에 대한 연구로 연구대상은 응급구조학과 4학년 학생 22명으로 구성하였다. 교육시간은 10분 동안 3개의 기도유지기에 대한 전체 강의가 있었고, 10분 동안 마네킹을 이용하여 세 가지 기도기의 사용방법을 교육하고 실습을 시행하였다. 응급구조학과 학생을 대상으로 Airway management trainer Simman를 이용한 기도 내 이물 제거 모델에서 매킨토시후두경과 GlideScope and the AWS$^{(R)}$, McGrath$^{(R)}$ 비디오 후두경의 기관내 삽관 성공률과 삽관 시간, 시행자의 선호도를 비교한 결과 의미 있는 차이를 보였다. 마네킨을 이용한 병원전 기도기인 1차 시도에서는 유의한 차이를 보였지만 2차에서 숙련이 된 경우이라서 큰차이를 보이지 않았다. 기관내 삽관 기구의 선호도 조사에서는 Pentax AWS를 가장 선호하였다.

치협은 치과의사전문의제도 시행을 앞두고 인턴 및 레지던트들이 수련병원에서 최소 필요충분하게 교육받아야 하는 과정을 도출해냈다. 이를 위해 치협은 치의전문의제를 실시하는 10개 분과학회의 대표를 중심으로 치과의사 전공의 수련병원(기관) 수련교육 표준화 작업 연구위원회를 구성하고 몇 차례의 논의 끝에 '치과의사 전공의 연차별 수련 교과과정'보고서를 완성했다. 보고서는 10개 분과학회별로 각 학회에서 논의를 거친 내용으로서 향후 치의전문의제를 실시하는데 있어서 전공의들의 연차별 수련 교과과정을 제시해 준다. 회원들의 이해를 돕기 위해 보고서의 전문을 게재한다.

This study aims to present directions for improving information services of medical libraries in small and medium-sized hospitals by exploring the information use behavior and information needs of nurses, medical technicians, and pharmacists who had not been studied. The research design was conducted based on the reviewing theoretical background studies, and in-depth semi-structured interviews were conducted with nurses, medical technicians, and pharmacists working in small and medium-sized hospitals. The results show their information needs, information use behavior, and perceptions of the medical library in the hospital. Based on these results, this study suggests ways to improve the information services provided by medical libraries in hospitals. This research is meaningful because it was first to explore the information use behavior and information needs of health care professionals working in small and medium-sized hospitals.

Cross contamination between a patient and rescuer or CPR trainees can occur when performing mouth to mouth ventilation during cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). On the other hand, there has been a lack of research on the filtration efficacy of face shields that are designed to protect people from cross-contamination. This study aims to secure the safety of rescuers from communicable diseases in pre-hospital emergency settings and CPR trainees by verifying the protective effects of face shields. The FA shield and CM Shield were used to verify the safety. The bacteria collected from filters used by CPR trainees were incubated. These incubated bacteria were smeared onto the new filters, and were then blown out through the filters using a Bag Valve Mask (BVM) and the pathogens at the front and the back of the filters were checked. While the FA shield was effective in preventing the transmission of pathogens, the CM shield did not prevent the transmission of pathogens. Therefore, some of face shields that received national certification are ineffective in preventing cross-contamination. Accordingly, it is necessary to verify the safety of other face shields used domestically.

The purpose of this study is to identify factors affecting the stress of End-of-life care in long-term care hospitals and to identify perception and education requirement of End-of-life care. The subjects of this study were 163 nurses who had worked at seven long-term care hospitals in Gyeongsangnam-do for more than six months and had more than one end-of-life care experience. They agreed to participate in the study using structured questionnaires from May 27 to June 7, 2021. As a result of this study, the most influential factor for the terminal care stress of the nurses in the long-term care hospitals is the education needs of End-of-life care(β=.25, p=.001). The following factors have been identified death anxiety (β=.21, p=.005), satisfaction with the End-of-life care environment (β=.17, p=.017), and End-of-life care perception(β=-.15, p=.040). Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to meet the educational needs of the End-of-life care for the nurses in the long-term care hospitals in order to relieve their stress. For this, it is necessary to develop and apply educational programs for End-of-life care.
