This study is intended to summarize the contents and process of an architectural basic planning for the design competition of K University Hospital. Especially a design of low-rise and compact type hospital in sloped suburb is suggested. The major contents consists of proposed premise of planning, goal of planning, site analysis, site plan, and architectural basic plan To realize the concept of low-rise and compact type hospital which reconciles to the natural environment of the site, 4 nursing units per typical floor and hospital street system are introduced. And to design a "hospital unlike hospital", streamline form of hospital building is proposed.

This paper has attempted to analyze the site planning theories of Raymond Unwin (1863-1940), who is called the father of British town planning. A prominent contribution of his was to establish both the site planning of garden suburb and urban housing style in British type. Here it attempts to analyze how he greatly and firmly established the concept of Housing Group, and how he got this the concept from the life and spatial composition of villages. It could be pointed out that the main factors of the Unwin theory are social mixture, creation of community consciousness and informal landscape design, and that the small enclosed space with plenty of amenity is his main theme. It is pointed out that the Unwin theory is composed of recognizing urban life as totality, and group planning theory, and that he definitely originated a new technique: Housing Group. It is analyzed that the syntactic relations between the group planning theory and housing designs in the English garden suburbs are epitomized in Hampstead Garden Suburb, Middlesex.

본 논문에서는 Cost231-Hata 모델과 Cost231-Walfisch-Ikegami 모델을 비교 분석하고, 두 모델의 전파환경이 서로 근접하게 되는 송신안테나의 높이, 건물군의 높이, 그리고 도로폭의 상관관계를 나타내는 전송손실 곡선들을 제시한다. 이러한 곡선들은 Okumura-Hata 모델의 정성적인 전파환경(도심지, 교외지역, 개활지)을 정량적인 요소(건물군의 높이, 도로폭) 로서 설명하여, Okumura-Hata(Cost231-Hata) 모델을 다른 도시, 나라에 적용시킬 때 하나의 기준으로 활용 될 수 있을 것이다. 또한 최근에 제안된 ITU-R 모델과 Okumura-Hata(Cost231-Hata)모델을 비교 분석한 결과, ITU-R 곡선들은 Okumura-Hata의 교외지역 전파환경에 대한 사용식을 확장한 것으로 사료된다.

본 연구에서는 교외지역 대기 에어로졸의 특성을 파악하기 위하여 지구온난화와 밀접한 관련이 있다고 알려진 블랙카본 농도를 측정하였고, 그 결과들을 기상 요소들과 비교하였다. 필터 기반 측정 장치인 MAAP (Multi Angle Absorption Photometer)를 이용하여 측정된 블랙카본 농도와 황사농도, 습도, 온도 및 풍속을 비교하였다. 블랙카본 농도는 4~5월에 높으며 6~9월에 낮은 경향을 보였다. 블랙카본 농도는 PM10(직경 $10{\mu}m$ 이하 입자상 물질) 농도 및 습도와는 비례관계를 보였으며 온도 및 풍속과는 반비례 관계를 보였다. 또한 디젤엔진에서 발생한 블랙카본의 직경 및 광흡수 계수 및 수농도를 측정하여 흡수 단면적을 도출 하였고 이를 통하여 교외 지역 블랙카본의 수준을 평가 할 수 있는 방법을 소개하였다.
