  • 상수도시설은 준공후 관련지자체에 이관 관리하는 시설로서 사용관종이 현재 다양하게 생산 보급되고 있어 관종 선정시 다각적인 측면에서 검토하여 채택하여야 한다. 최근 한국토지공사에서 사용하고 있는 상수도 관종은 대부분 택지개발계획 등 인허가 당시부터 관리주체인 지자체 등과의 협의과정을 거쳐 선정되는 경우가 많아 자재선택에 한계성이 있다. 이를 극복하기 위해서는 자재 성능에 대한 공사내 명확한 기준이 제시되어야 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 공사가 시공하여 준공한 사업지구내 매설된 상수도 자재에 대한 샘플링조사를 통하여 적정한 관의 선정과 년도별, 관종별, 용도별 사용 현황을 파악하여 향후 대응방안을 마련하고, 기존 상수도관의 선정시 비교검토된 관의 제원(관의 재질 및 개요, 생산규격, 특성, 관접합 및 수밀성, 시공성, 경제성, 공사비, 관종선정(안) 결정)별 비교검토서를 보완 작성하고, 국내에서 생산되고 있는 각종 상수도관에 대한 정량적 분석을 수행하였다. 이를 통하여 상수도 관종 설계 및 시공에 대한 적용방안을 마련하였다.

  • 국내 상업적으로 운용증인 경수로 원자력 발전소중, 중기발생기의 건전성 유지를 위하여 보수 유지에 많은 비용을 소비하고 있다 특히 중기발생기 전열관으로 사용되는 inconel 600 재질에 많은 문제점이 발생되었다. 전열관 파손에 대한 보수 및 방지기술은 plugging, sleeving, shot penning, Ni-plating 등이 있다. 특히 최근에 개발된 고출력 Nd:YAG 레이저를 이용한 sleeving 보수 기술이 개발되었다. Nd:YAG 레이저를 이용한 보수 방식은 미국의 WH 및 일본의 MHI 등이 선정하여 실용화 단계에 있으며, 이는 광섬유로 전송이 가능한 Nd:YAG 레이저를 이용하여 원격으로 가공할 수 있는 기술이다. 현재 한국 원자력 연구소에서는 전열관 레이저 보수 용접에 대한 개념을 확립하고 장비 및 기구를 개발하였으며, 고리 1 호기 전열관규격에(7/8") 3/4" sleeve tube를 삽입하여 약 50 m 떨어진 곳으로부터 원격 레이저 용접을 실험실적 규모로 실증 하였다.모로 실증 하였다.

Damage Assessment of Buried Pipelines due to Tunneling-Induced Ground Movements (터널시공에 따른 지반거동에 의한 지중매설관 손상 평가)

  • 본 고에서는 도심지 터널의 과학적인 설계/시공을 위한 요소기술 확보의 일환으로 기존의 연구자들이 제시한 손상평가 기법을 토대로 터널굴착에 따른 지중매설관 손상여부의 예비평가를 위한 평가기법을 제시하였다. 제시된 기법을 토대로 다양한 경우에 대한 매개변수 연구를 수행한 결과 지반침하곡선의 경사 및 곡률 등 침하곡선의 제반특성에 기반을 둔 본 연구에서 개발된 손상평가기법의 평가결과는 변곡점의 위치에 많은 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났으며, 따라서 현장 특유의 지반특성 및 시공조건이 반영된 변곡점 산정식의 개발을 위한 지속적인 연구가 필요한 것으로 판단된다. 아울러서 터널심도가 터널직경의 2.5배 이하인 경우 손상도가 현저히 증가하며, 전반적으로 관의 재질이나 조인트의 형식에 관계없이 관체의 인장변형률이 손상여부를 결정짓는 인자인 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서 얻어진 결과를 종합하여 터널과 매설관의 상대적 위치 및 지반손실량에 따라 매설관의 손상정도를 정량적으로 평가할 수 있는 설계도표를 제시하였다.

Characteristics of Corrosion and Water Quality in Simulated Reclaimed Water Distribution Pipelines (모형 재이용관을 이용한 하수재이용수의 부식 및 수질영향 연구)

  • Water reuse has been highlighted as a representative alternative to solve the lacking water resource. This study carried out a study on the pipe corrosion and water quality change which can occur through the supply of reclaimed water, using a simulated reclaimed water distribution pipeline. Galvanized steel pipe (GSP), cast iron pipe (CIP), stainless steel pipe (STSP) and PVC pipe (PVCP) were used for the pipe materials. Reclaimed water(RW) and tap water(TW) were respectively supplied into simulated reclaimed water distribution pipelines. As a result of performing a loop test to supply reclaimed water to simulated reclaimed water distribution pipelines, the weight reduction of pipe coupons showed the sequence of CIP > GSP > STSP ${\approx}$ PVCP. In addition, reclaimed water showed a high corrosion rate comparing to that of tap water. In case of CIP, the initial corrosion rate showed 3.511 mdd(milligrams per square decimeter per day) for reclaimed water and 2.064 mdd for tap water and the corrosion rate for 90 days showed 0.833 mdd for reclaimed water and 0.294 mdd for tap water. Also in case of GSP, the initial corrosion rate showed 2.703 mdd for reclaimed water and 2.499 mdd for tap water and the corrosion rate for 90 days showed 0.349 mdd for reclaimed water and 0.248 mdd for tap water, which was a tendency similar to that appeared in CIP with a tendency to reduce the corrosion rate. As a result of water quality changes of reclaimed water at pipe materials to carry out the loop test, there was higher conversion ratio of ammonia into nitrate in CIP and GSP with higher corrosion rate than that in STSP and PVCP where no corrosion has occurred. The highest denitrification rate of nitrate could be observed from CIP with the most particles generated from corrosion. In CIP, it could be confirmed that there was MIC (Microbiologically Induced Corrosion) as a result of EDS (Energy Dispersive X-ray spectrometer System) analysis results.

  • 원자력발전소의 전열관 보수용접 기술 개발을 위해 Inconel 600 재질의 plate 판에 레이저 용접실험을 수행하였다. 레이저 발진기로 부터 발진된 레이저 빔은 광섬유를 통하여 전송되고, 집광렌즈군를 이용하여 용접이 이루어지도록 하였다. pulse 레이저 용접 변수인 펄스폭, 반복율, 첨두출력 및 용접속도를 변화시키면서 용접결과를 측정하였다. 이에 따른 적절한 용접범위를 제시하였다.

Functional disposable use flow tube converting the respiratory air flow rate into averaged dynamic pressure (호흡기류를 동압력으로 변환하는 기능성 일회용 호흡관)

  • Respiratory air flow rate is necessarily measured for the pulmonary function evaluation. The currently used devices are exposed to the problems of measurement reliability and cross-patient infection. The present study introduced a new technique which converted the bidirectional air flow rate into averaged dynamic pressure based on the famous Bernoulli's energy conservation principle. Single use plastic sensing element was assembled within the flow tube(mouth piece) made of paper, which was named "functional single use flow tube". Experiment demonstrated only ${\pm}1.5%$ relative error in the standard 3L volume measurement procedure well within the error limit suggested by the American Thoracic Society(ATS). Disposable use design completely eliminated cross-patient infection. The present device is best useful and safe for clinical respiratory air flow measurement such as spirometry.

Heat Transfer Characteristics of Bulkhead Penetration Piece for A60 Class Compartment II: Fire Resistance Test for Piece Material and Insulation Types (A60급 구획 적용 격벽 관통용 관의 열전달 특성 II: 관 재질 및 단열재 종류에 따른 방화시험)

  • In the case of a fire accident on a ship or an offshore plant, the design of the bulkhead penetration piece must be verified via a fire test procedure (FTP), as specified by the Maritime Safety Committee (MSC). The purpose of this study is to verify both the numerical analysis results and the design specifications for penetration pieces that could be applied to the A60 class bulkhead division. In this study, the FTP was carried out in accordance with the test procedure prescribed in the MSC regulation. In order to review the fire resistance performance according to the material type, bulkhead penetration pieces for the FTP were made from brass, carbon steel for machine structures (S45C), and austenite stainless steel (SUS316). In addition, spray-type insulation and mechanical fastener-type insulation were applied to investigate the fire resistance performance according to the type of insulation. To verify the heat transfer numerical analysis results for the A60 class bulkhead penetrating piece from this test study, the design specifications of the penetrating piece material and the insulation type applicable to a ship and an offshore plant were identified.

Variation of Material Properties of Korean Red Pine of Superior Families - Tracheid Length, Microfibril Angle, Resin Canal and Specific Gravity - (소나무 우량 가계별 기초재질 변이 - 가도관, 마이크로피브릴 경사각, 수지구 분포 및 전건비중을 중심으로 -)

  • The quality of wood is largely depend on the characteristics of xylem tissue and their variation. They may include tracheid length, microfibril angle, distribution and amount of resin canal, as well as specific gravity as indicator of material properties. In this study, variation of these elements between and within 30 superior families of Pinus densifloa in progeny test forest were examined and the results are as follows; In terms of elongation ratio of tracheid length which is less than 1%, the sample tree showed a transition to matured wood after 13 years particularly in Kangwon 25, 30, 90, 56 and Chungnam 4 families. The average specific gravity were from 0.35 to 0.49, and differences between the families were significant. Number of transverse resin canal per unit area were also found to be significant between the families. The microfibril angles measured at 15th ring number ranged from 0.9 degree to 28.6 degree. More studies are necessary to tell whether these variation is inherited by genetic or individual characteristic. However it would be desirable that these elements be considered as key elements in the early stage of selection process of superior tree to ensure good quality of wood production in future.

Leakage-reduction Measures at a Joint between CPVC Piping for a Sprinkler System and a Pipe Expansion (스프링클러설비용 CPVC관과 신축배관 접속부분에서의 누수저감 대책에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, we try to suggest measures to reduce leakage at a joint between CPVC piping for a sprinkler system and a pipe expansion through reviews of domestic and foreign standards and related tests. The quality of the waterproof rubber packing material between a valve socket and pipe expansion nut was examined. In the leak test, the valve socket material over the expansion part of the metal pipe nut was found to use a metal part or a schlorinated polyvinyl chloride pipe nut part. In addition, the KS B 0221 standard for parallel pipe threads with threaded and thread inspection criteria and inspection standards in order to ensure an acceptable quality of valve socket, there is a need to amend the regulations to comply with the KS B 5223 (screw thread limit gauges parallel pipe threads). We do not have detailed standards for expansion piping nuts for waterproof rubber ring material, so we need to amend the relevant criteria for EPDM material to be used with excellent waterproofing, for which both NBR and EPDM are currently used.
