  • This research is intended to understand and make practical suggestions on various aspects of the railroad traffic controllers focusing on railroad control of the railroad safety management system's technical standards. The method of analysis is using the causal loop diagram, which is the soft method of System Dynamics. Content of analysis is about the system. 11.7 of the work of the railroad control system. In addition, we compared and analyzed railroad controllers by four railroad operators, suggesting the importance of railroad control and future practical improvement plans.

  • The importance of the air and vessel traffic control center is increasing rapidly after the recent accident of 'Sewol ferry'. Aviation, marine, and the logistics sectors are already using monitoring and control technology widely. However, the monitoring and control system for complex and dangerous construction sites operation has yet to be employed. A monitoring/control system is required for effective communication between the control center and the construction equipment fleet at a construction site, and also the exact role that notifies accurate process and identification of hazards on construction sites as needed. Therefore, this paper presents the study about communication between the construction equipment fleet and the control center through the comparison of air traffic, marine, and logistics control systems for the development of construction equipment fleet management system.

A Basic Study on Development of VTS Control Guideline by Collision Risk model based on Ship's Operator's Consciousness (선박운항자 의식 기반 충돌 위험도 모델을 이용한 관제 가이드 라인 개발에 관한 기초 연구)

  • In ports of Korea, the marine traffic flow is congested due to a large number of vessels coming in and going out. In order to improve the safety and efficiency of these vessels, South Korea is operating with a Vessel Traffic System, which is monitoring its waters 24-7. However despite these efforts of the VTS (Vessel Traffic System) officers, marine accidents are occurring in their assigned districts. VTS Officers are controlling subjectively based on their experience due to no VTS guideline. On this paper, we listened to Busan VHF channel for 3days and applied to collision risk model. With collision risk model, We deducted a moment which advise or recommend to vessel in encounter situation, VTSO's career, day&night.. We suggested a collision risk value as guide line of VTSO's control time.

However despite these efforts of the VTS (Vessel Traffic System) officers, marine accidents are occurring continuously in their control area. VTS Officers are controlling subjectively based on their experience due to no VTS control guideline of dangerous situation among vessels. On this paper, we listened to Busan VHF channel for 3days and analyzed the message. With collision risk model, We analyzed a moment of risk which officers advise or recommend to vessel in encounter situation, VTSO's career, and day&night.

  • Security Management System is a system which operates in the security control center for security control. All living things across the Internet in recent years, with the rapid increase in the subscriber base has increased the need for network security dramatically depending on yirueojim through web services, thus cyber security sheriff, I have a big issue to build a security management system, each agency and perform control tasks. But the security functional requirements for security management system would not specified exactly, in developing a security management system to build and design a situation that PP's needs require a lot of trouble. In this paper, we develop a Managed Security System Protection Profile for the security functional requirements specification of the security management system.

  • The quality of service provided by Vessel Traffic Services depends on the tasks characteristics and the work environment of Vessel Traffic Service operators. In this paper, the working conditions of Vessel Traffic Service operators are analyzed in order to propose methods to improve the working environment of Vessel Traffic Services and to provide high quality service through them. The questionnaire survey was conducted for Vessel Traffic Service operators working at 20 Vessel Traffic Service centers. It is expected that it might be used as the basic data for improvement of work environment and organization of Vessel Traffic Service center in the future.

  • 본 연구는 다양화, 정밀화, 현대화되고 있는 해상교통관제 환경에 맞추어 신체적, 제도적, 환경적인 근무요건들을 분석하여 관제사의 집중도 향상을 위한 Workload 경감 방법에 대하여 고찰하였다. IALA Guideline No. 1045 - On Staffing Levels at VTS Centers Edition 1에 언급된 workload에 영향을 끼치는 요소들을 중심으로 현재의 국내 해상교통관제센터의 여건에 대하여 분석하였다. 항공관제센터 등의 순환근무체제를 비교 분석하고, 관제집중도 향상을 위해 보완해야 할 사항에 대하여 검토하였다.
