Health monitoring is a major concern not only in the design and manufacturing but also in service stages for composite laminated structures. Excessive loads or low velocity impact can cause matrix cracks and delaminations that may severely degrade the load carrying capability of the composite laminated structures. To develop the health monitoring techniques providing on-line diagnostics of smart composite structures can be helpful in keeping the composite structures sound during their service. In this study, we discuss the signal processing techniques and some applications for health monitoring of composite structures using piezoceramic sensors and fiber optic sensors.

Currently, major interested thing at home and abroad is to pursuit a sustaining development of an environmental construction industry through low discharge of carbon dioxide and reuse of construction waste and so on. In order to achieve those goals, we must develop the design technique which can reduce a generated amount of C&D waste from a design phase and technique which can reduce and recycle C&D waste generated at a demolition phase. But a domestic policy for the development and the support of a demolition industry is analyzed to be more insufficient than other advanced country. Therefore, this study analyzed a demolition market trend of foreign country and assessed properties of a domestic demolition industry. Also this study forecasted a scale of a demolition market and analyzed its trend based on total number of housing construction per year. Consequently, this study suggested the development direction of a demolition industry through those analyzed results, expecting the research results to be a fundamental data for the development of demolition industry and the policy of construction waste.

There are many investment budget drafts in the filed of a road traffic safety. The traffic safety budget is spitted into following three major areas: 1) traffic safety facility (Engineering), 2) traffic enforcement (Enforcement), and 3) traffic safety education & public relation (Education). The three area are known as so-called 3E policy. This study investigates the effect of the investment in the 3E policy on the reduction of traffic accidents analyzing the data annually collected from the 15 local governments during 1992 to 2007. The analysis employing the traffic accidents as the dependent variable reveals that the effect of the investment is higher if same amount of investment is made on areas of the traffic safety education and public relation than the area of facility improvement. The similar conclusions are resulted from the separate investigation of traffic accidents data by 6 different types. All the results consistently indicate that the current traffic safety investment being primarily made on traffic safety facility needs to shift to the areas of traffic safety education and public relation budget.

Recently, the advent of wireless communication and other handhold devices like Personal Digital Assistants and smart cards have made in implementation of cryptosystems a major issue. One important aspect of modern day ciphers is the scope for hardware sharing between the encryption and decryption algorithm. The cellular Automata which have been proposed as an alternative to linear feedback shift registers(LFSRs) can be programmed to perform the operations without using any dedicated hardware. But to generalize and analyze CA is not easy. In this paper, we characterizes uniform/hybird complemented group CA with rules 195/153/51 that divide the entire state space into smaller spaces of maximal equal lengths. This properties can be useful in constructing key agreement algorithm.

To use the system safely in cyberspace, you need to use a security solution that is appropriate for your situation. In order to strengthen cyber security, it is necessary to accurately understand the flow of security from past to present and to prepare for various future threats. In this study, information security words of security/hacking news of Naver News which is reliable by using text mining were collected and analyzed. First, we checked the number of security news articles for the past seven years and analyzed the trends. Second, after confirming the security/hacking word rankings, we identified major concerns each year. Third, we analyzed the word of each security solution to see which security group is interested. Fourth, after separating the title and the body of the security news, security related words were extracted and analyzed. The fifth confirms trends and trends by detailed security solutions. Lastly, annual revenue and security word frequencies were analyzed. Through this big data news analysis, we will conduct an overall awareness survey on security solutions and analyze many unstructured data to analyze current market trends and provide information that can predict the future.

The purpose of this research is to share the experience of reflective practice of a Home Economics teacher professional learning community(PLC) operator and to share better suggestions through reflection on PLC operation. All conversation in the 18 sessions of the PLC totally from May 31st 2013 to May 19th 2014 was recorded and transcribed. All materials of PLC activity were qualitatively analysed. Its themes were grounded on its coding and categorization scheme. Findings and conclusions of this study are as followings. The experience of learning the PLC for a year has found that it is the power to keep the PLC alive: courage and anxiety to face anxiety and anxiety about new challenges, the importance of theme selection, a teacher with a reckless challenge, shares of becoming a leader. Through reflection, I learned that concerns require attention to other teachers and the need for a 'New Round' for ongoing meetings. I, as a operator, did not fully consider participant's different interest as well as a program for a new round due to the lack of management experience. It led to the low participations in latter sessions of PLC. Suggestions are put as solutions to improve these problems; (1) grouping participants by school levels when collecting participants, (2) setting operation period and program applying participants' opinions, and (3) operating short-term PLC with certain themes to immerse reaching goal and satisfaction in short time.

The threadlike structures of fascia were examined by tight and electron microscopy. In order to distinguish its tissue organization, we used staining methods including hematoxylin-eosin, Masson's trichrome, Van Gieson's collagen fiber stain and Kluver-Barrera's luxol fast blue for nerve stain. Under the light microscope, the threadlike structures were composed of many collagen fibers and nerve. In higher magnification, they looked like as the bundle of tubular structures. Many myoid cell-spindle nuclei were observed in the tissue, which were taken from the fascia. It was identical with Bonghan duct known as one of meridian network theory. In the early 1960's the North Korean Bong-Han Kim showed the anatomical structures of the acupuncture points, and explained the meridian system as the concrete duct network system. According to Bonghan theory the Bonghan ducts spread throughout the body Because it is believed that the duct could have the role of signal pathway, the theory was reinvestigated in these days. All of the threadlike structures isolated from fascia shows the abundance of collagen fibers. The electron microscope examination (TEM) could confirm the well arranged collagen fiber and nerve. This investigation reveals that superficial Bohghan duct are nerve fiber parallel running with collagen fibers. We conjectured that the intermingled structure of collagen fiber, blood vessel and nerve fiber might have the role of meridian system. And the more, regardless of histological research, the study on collagen fiber as response transmitter in acupuncture treatment are in need.

The total number of passengers on the KTX since its construction in 2004 surpassed 500 million in October, 2015. The operation of KTX made it possible to reach anywhere in a country in half a day, which subsequently altered people's lifestyle. As the KTX has become an important mode of transportation, there is a growing interest in the optimal size and location of its stations. Currently, the stations are constructed through public-private partnerships since a sufficient amount of budget is hard to secure only from the public sector; however, because railway stations are traditionally aimed at promoting public interests, an emphasis on the profitability of the private sector could compromise public interests. At this juncture, this study separately computes the number of users based on each of the two primary functions of the stations-as a railway station and as a sales facility-and estimates the numbers of people according to various transportation modes that are taken to access the stations. This estimation is applied to the case of Dongdaegu Station, which will open in 2016. Such an application helps to predict and respond to possible congestion as brought about by the expansion of the sales facility.
