Real-time Underground Facility Map Production Using Drones (드론을 이용한 실시간 지하시설물도 작성)

  • Between 1998 and 2010, the computerization of underground facilities was completed in 84 cities. Since 2011, new pipelines have been laid or existing pipelines have been maintained, renovated, and renewed. To measure the exact location and depth of the exposure pipe, a map of underground facilities was created before filling the ground. This method is based on the time when the underground facilities of the National Geographic Information Institute Regulation No. 134 of the National Geographic Information Office revised in 2010 were drafted. The process of the drone taking the video is based on a theoretical basis of ground control points. The method works by removing all ground control points located outside of the error range and re-processing it for calculating the best result. Furthermore, using a drone-based spontaneous measuring method allows workers to obtain a high accuracy underground facilities map in error bound. The proposed method could be used as a new way to standardize the processing.

  • Even though Korea's national project - NGIS(National Geographic Information System) has been built since 1995 and the GIS database for underground facilities has also been built, not so many systems are utilizing those databases currently. Also, the waterworks GIS developed and operated by K-Water is not used effectively in supporting field works. In order to manage and operate the waterworks pipelines effectively, systematic supporting strategy must be established by adopting the state-of-the-art technology. In this research, a ubiquitous-based strategy for managing waterworks facilities is proposed to increase the usability of the existing related databases and to ensure the systematic way of distributing information. The current status of the existing waterworks GIS and GIS database were analyzed to achieve the goal. By studying the state-of-the-art technology, we found that importing the LBS technology to the databases is necessary. The results of these efforts are exclusive waterworks-mobile-terminals and LBS system supporting them. Furthermore, the applicability of the ubiquitous technology to waterworks has been examined to realize the real-time waterworks management.

  • The one of the big issues in fixed markets is the investment of next generation networks. The nation-wide incumbent has provided the copper cable based access networks in so far. However in the future multiple providers participant in investing network in first stage of the network investment like mobile networks. Each NRA makes efforts on the resolving construction cost of civil engineering costs through the opening conduits. To smooth operation, information opening service is needed then NRAs must determined the level of opened information and cost of usage information and so on. This paper proposed the alternation of the issues to boost the investment of the next generation networks.

  • 2002년 현재 서울시는 99.99%에 이르는 높은 상수도 보급율에 비하여 유수율은 선진국의 수준에 이르지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 이는 정수장에서 배수지까지 연결되는 송수관과 배수지에서 각 가정으로 보낼 때 사용되는 배급수관에서의 누수 발생이 주 원인이며, 이는 곧 체계적인 관망 설계 및 운영이 미흡하기 때문인 것으로 지적되고 있다. 상수관로의 누수현상을 해결하고 효과적인 관리를 위한 근본적인 대책으로 노후관로의 교체가 필요하게 된다. 또한 노후관망 교체 등 유사시에 안정적인 상수의 공급을 위해 배수지간을 연결하는 대안 관로를 둘 필요가 있으며, 이러한 관망의 경로를 적절하게 설계해야 하는 것도 주요한 상수 공급 문제 중의 하나이다. 2000년 서울시 수도 정비 기본 계획의 관망 정비계획에 따르면 배수관리를 원활하게 하고 누수를 효율적으로 탐지·방지하기 위한 가장 이상적인 관망구성은 배수지 중심의 블록 시스템으로 보고 있다. 이와 같은 문제점들을 기반으로 하여, 본 연구는 GIS를 이용하여 효과적으로 노후관망을 관리하고, 대안 관망경로를 구축하는 시스템을 제안하였다. 본 연구에서는 배수지를 중심으로 한 블록 단위기반의 관망 노후도를 체계적으로 분석하는 시스템과 함께, 유사시를 대비한 최단/최적의 대안 경로를 산출하는 시스템을 구현하여 이를 서울 일부지역에 적용하여 그 유용성을 점검하였다. 상수도 관망의 설치 계획은 상수도 시설의 규모의 확장과 시설계량에 있어 대규모의 비용과 시간이 요구되는 특성을 가지고 있기 때문에 시설투자에 있어 정확한 예측과 분석을 통해 이루어져야 한다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 예측과 분석의 의사결정을 지원할 수 있는 상수도 배수 블록 노후도 관리 시스템과 최단/최적 연결 경로 산출 시스템을 구현해 봄으로써 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 상수도의 관망 노후도의 분석을 화면상에서 다양한 요소별로 하게 함으로써 넓은 공간에서의 관망의 관리를 효과적으로 할 수 있게 해준다. 2. 또한 이와 함께 대안 관망들을 사용자가 직접 대화식으로 빠르게 설계하고 이들의 경로와 공사비용 등을 산출해 봄으로써, 후보 최적 경로들을 공간적, 정량적으로 비교하는 것이 용이하다.

Research on Improving Quality Management for Underground Space Integration Map - Focusing on pipe-type underground facilities - (지하공간통합지도 품질관리 개선방안 연구 - 관로형 지하시설물을 중심으로 -)

  • The development and utilization of underground spaces are increasing as the use of land based on ground surface became limited due to rapid urbanization triggered by population growth and industrialization. Despite its merit of efficient use of limited land and space, it may contribute to occurrence of various disasters such as sinkholes and damage to underground facilities. After the sinkholes formed and occurred across the country in 2014, there has been an effort to establish Underground Space Integration Map containing 15 types of underground information. Still, there is an increasing demand to improve the quality of underground information stemmed from continuation of such events including the rupture of the hot water pipe in Goyang-si and the fire in the KT site in Ahyeon-dong, Seoul. Hereby, with the aim to improve the quality of Underground Space Integration Map, this study analyzes quality standards, regulations, and guidelines related to spatial data to improve quality inspection standards and methods included in the production rules for the Underground Space Integration Map. In particular, it suggests improvement plan for data quality management for pipe-type underground facilities, known as lifelines, which are essential part of daily life of the citizens, and the largest cause for accidents according to 15 types of underground information managed through the Underground Space Integration Map.

  • As various accidents have occurred in underground spaces, we aim to improve the quality validation standards and methods as specified in the Regulations on Producing Integrated Map of Underground Spaces devised by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of the Republic of Korea for a high-quality integrated map of underground spaces. Specifically, we propose measures to improve the quality assurance of pipeline-type underground facilities, the so-called life lines given their importance for citizens' daily activities and their highest risk of accident among the 16 types of underground facilities. After implementing quality validation software based on the developed quality validation standards, the adequacy of the validation standards was demonstrated by testing using data from two-dimensional water supply facilities in some areas of Busan, Korea. This paper has great significance in that it has laid the foundation for reducing the time and manpower required for data quality inspection and improving data quality reliability by improving current quality validation standards and developing technologies that can automatically extract errors through software.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to prevent construction safety accidents, and the design safety systems were reviewed. This paper aims to establish as an effective system by looking at the implementation procedures and contents of the design safety review system. Method: We reviewed the purpose and content of the law, accident statistics, etc. for the study. In addition, we looked at the implementation plans for actual construction sites using the 'design safety' assessment process as defined by the Act. Results: We divided it into the data review phase, the risk factor elicitation and alternative setup phase, and the design safety assessment report preparation stage. Conclusion: it is necessary to derive risk factors that take into account the diversity of construction sites. However, the effectiveness of other reports is questioned as they are often copied and written. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen external verification procedures attended by construction safety experts.

  • Recently it is being increased rapidly to install magnetic marker and RFID tag on the underground utility lines before backfilling to ensure effective it's management. However, due to changes an attitude and damages of sensors. By pressure and vibration during soil compacting, detecting rate is significantly reduced as well as it allows to use only one line of various pipes since it has an unique frequency. Also it is required too long time to reach to target point with an non-accurate navigational GPS receiver and hard to update existing data base with a manual input of new data in the field. To improve these problems, the researcher developed the field management system that apply with ball typed self-levelling marker which is free from the changes of attitude for sensors during compaction as well as has various radio frequency applicable to many kind of pipes and ensure fast positioning to target point using an incorporated system with PDA based DGPS receiver which allows loading a field GIS software and RFID detector. Further, it provides with viewing all of RFID data on the DGPS receiver screen directly and also input new data to existing data base in the field automatically.

  • In the pipeline for supplying purified water to each household, measurements such as flow meters and pressure meters are installed at important points to monitor in real time. The measured data acquired to the central control room through wireless or wired communication, but data may not be acquired due to intermittent communication failures. Since then, even if the communication network is restored, data during the failure period is not stored on the site, or even if it is stored, data cannot be automatically stored in the database. Low cost with universally installed in the field in order to address these data logging by developing a module is compatible with PLC, automatically would like to make sure that we can recover in the database.

부산 신항 조성지역의 지반 개량된 미고결 퇴적층에 대한 물리탐사

  • 연약지반으로 분류되는 조간대 퇴적층의 연구는 제한적인 시추자료에 의존하고 있다. 비파괴 지반조사 방법은 시추자료에서 획득할 수 없는 지층의 측방변화와 지질 이상대를 확인할 수 있는 대안이 될 수 있다. 지구물리탐사 방법은 현장 토질조사와 같이 직접적인 지반조사 방법과 병행할 경우 지반을 이해하는데 있어 한층 나은 결과를 얻을 수 있다. 부산신항 배후부지 조성지역에서 매질의 상이한 특성에 기초한 비파괴 지반조사 방법으로 이용되는 지구물리탐사를 실시하였다. 각 탐사의 결과는 서로 유사한 지층경계를 나타내며, 시추와 매립공사의 결과와도 일치한다. 또한 계측을 위해 매설된 침하판이나 매설관로의 탐지, 압밀차이에 의한 부등 침하의 측방변화 등과 같이 시추조사에서 인지하기 어려운 부분에 대한 정보를 제공하고 있다.
