지역에 밀착한 관광이 추진되면서, 관광레크레이션지역의 개발 및 관리운영에 있어서는 시민참여에 의한 자원 및 지역만들기가 상당히 중요한 이슈로 떠오르고 있다. 그러나 국내에서는 이러한 시민참여 활동의 역사가 짧고, 특히 관광과 관련해서는 아직 시민참여 활동이 본격화 되고 있지 못해, 그의 구체적인 활동범위 및 방향 등이 정리되지 못한 상태에 있다. 본 연구는 관광레크레이션지역에 있어서 시민참여의 활동범위와 그 추진방향에 대한 틀을 마련하기 위한 기초연구로서, 일본국영공원을 대상으로, 관광레크레이션지역에서의 시민참여 활동의 실태와 그 특성을 분석한 것이다. 연구결과 국영공원의 시민참여 활동은 테마 자원과 시설을 중심으로 매우 세분화되고 있고, 그 범위는 단순한 안내 및 관리가능을 넘어 연구회 및 학습회 등을 통해 보다 조직적, 능동적으로 참여함으로서 개발계획과 평가단계까지 그 영역이 확대되고 있는 것으로 나타난다. 또한 이들의 활동은 대상지 내에 국한되지 않고, 역 외의 유관단체와 연계해 하나의 교류네트워크의 축을 형성함으로써 자원자체의 활성화에도 크게 기여하는 것으로 나타난다.

메타버스는 게임 기술을 활용하여 현실의 다양한 현상이나 경제 활동들을 가상의 세계로 구현하고 이를 실세계와 유사하게 동작하도록 다양한 서비스를 제공하는 플랫폼을 일컫는 말로서 최근의 코로나19 펜데믹 상황과 맞물려 주목 받고 있는 게임 확장 기술군의 하나라 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 지역 관광 활성화를 위해 지역 대표 관광지의 시그니처(signature) 구조물들과 공간을 메타버스 플랫폼 상에 구현하고 구현된 공간에서 사용자간의 커뮤니케이션을 통해 관광 수요를 촉진시키며, 오프라인 이벤트와의 유기적인 연동을 통해 궁극적인 관광 활성화에 기여하기 위한 온오프라인 연계 메타버스 콘텐츠를 구현한다. 구현된 메타버스 콘텐츠에서는 개인별로 설정된 캐릭터를 활용해 구현된 가상 공간에서 상호작용이 가능하도록 구성하여 가상 공간에서 체득된 정보를 온라인 상에서 자유롭게 교환할 수 있도록 하였다. 본 논문에서 구현된 관광 메타버스 콘텐츠는 샌드박스형 메타버스 플랫홈으로 개발된 디토랜드를 기반으로 한다.

Since the introduction of the Foreign Patient Assistance Law in 2009, more than 300,000 foreign patients are visiting Korea each year due to the efforts of overseas patient attraction organizations, host companies and governments. Despite these achievements, however, the company is confronted with limitations in product development and the rate of patient population growth is slowing. Therefore, this study suggests the importance and meaning of various product development through the hierarchical analysis (AHP) on the major factors of product development of medical tourism services, and suggests direction of product development in domestic medical tourism industry in the future.

Mobile network evolution and development of USN technologies introduce new business model based on context awareness. Cellular operators provide friend finding service using cell based location information and telematics service using GPS location information. Recently cellular operators provide yellow page service based cell based location information. In this paper, we develop mobile tour application on WIPI platform based on location information. Mobile tour information services provide the best information based on context awareness using user location information from LBSP (Location Based Service Platform), season, weather conditions, time from Web server, and personal preference information stored in database. Mobile tour information service application is developed on WIPI platform.

최근 농촌관광의 개념이 확대되고 농촌관광의 시장규모가 점점 커지고 추세이다. 이러한 추세를 반영하여 러시아 극동지역 정부에서는 광활한 농업적 생태환경에 근거하여 인접국가와 관광교류을 통한 지역경제의 활성화를 정책적으로 추진하고 있다. 농촌관광에 관한한 30년의 추진경험을 갖고 있는 한국은 이러한 추세에 맞추어 한-러 양측의 상호 보완성에 입각한 협력과 수요변화에 대응한 농촌상품을 개발을 통하여 양국간 관광협력시 많은 가능성을 보여줄수 있다.

동굴이 개발될 때에는 반드시 그 환경도 파괴되고 동굴 생성물들의 오손 오염도 각오하여야 한다. 즉, 종유석은 일차로 개발하거나 내부 시설을 할때 파손되었고 이차로는 관광객에 의하여 오손되고 다시 삼차로는 종유석의 성장에 따라 중력에 의하여 천정의 지반이 약화되거나 또는 상층 지반의 암석이 판상을 이루거나 층상으로 되어있어 동굴 바닥으로 낙반되어 파손되기도 한다. 그리고 최근에는 관광개발된 이후에도 사회생활의 안정에 따라 취미삼아 수석, 장식품 등으로도 종유석이 환영받고 있으므로 동굴속의 종유석이나 석순은 남몰래 파손되어 가고 있는 것이다.(중략)

삼척군 하장면에 있는 월둔굴은 지방기념물로 지정된 석회동굴이다. 이 동굴은 강원도 내륙지역에 해당되고 있으나, 내륙인 정선에서 동해안의 삼척에 이르는 내륙교통의 요지에 위치하고 있고, 그 동굴 속의 2차 생성물들의 학술적ㆍ관광적 가치도 크기 때문에 관광지 개발에 합당한 동굴이라고 판단된다. 더구나 이 곳 현지주민들의 인문ㆍ산업 면에서 볼 때에도 산간오지의 밭농사에 의존할 수밖에 없어 이 동굴의 개발이 지역주민의 소득증대에도 이바지할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

In Korea, it is significantly deficient in the study about tourism geology, which is a new branch of applied geology that would support the growth of ecotourism world-wide. The objectives of this study include (1) the promotion in geodiversity of tourism geology using the data for type and distribution patterns of geological and geomorphological landscape resources and (2) the redoubling of diversity in the environmental interpretation programs offered by the Korea National Parks Service (KNPS). Our field study discovered 212 geological and geomorphological landscape resources distributed in the area of Taean seashore national park. Coastal topography is the most discovered type followed by weathering topography. It is our belief that the aforementioned resources can be utilized as a tourism geological site in assisting the public to understand geological science and to draw their attention and interests after sorting and filtering it out through discussions with geologists and geomorphologists of a consortium. Furthermore, in order to promote the activation of developing user-oriented geotourism sites, it is recommended to keep monitoring on demographical characteristics of geotourists, behavioral characteristics of geotouconrists within the geotourism site and ducting analysis for developing geotourism program and events. And, the research support of geological engineering dealing with the estimation of weathering degree and the development of conservation techniques for the object of geotourism along with the research of environmental science aspects will improve the activation of tourism geology.

In Korea, it is reported that the study about tourism geology, which is a new branch af applied geology that would support the growth of ecotourism world-wide, is significantly deficient. The objectives of this study include (1) the promotion in geodiversity of tourism geology using the data for type and distribution patterns of geological and geomorphological landscapes resources, and (2) the redoubling of diversity in environmental interpretation programs offerend by National Parks Authority (NPA). According to this research results, 62 geological and geomorphological landscape resources in Naejangsan national park were observed. Weathering topography is the most discovered type followed by river, mountain and tectonic topography in decreasing order. It is thought that the above-mentioned data can be utilized to sort and filter by the discussion through consortium organized by geologist and geomorphologist. Furthermore, in order to promote the activation of developing user-oriented geotourism sites, the monitoring on demographical characteristics of geotourists, behaviora characteristics of geotourists within geotourism site, and the analysis for developing geotourism program and events should be accompanied. And, the support of geological engineering dealing the estimation of weathering degree and development of conservation techniques for the object of geotourism will improve the activation of tourism geology.
