This study investigated the characteristics of obsessive behaviors in romantic relationship of 42 female sex workers and the effect of traumatic experiences on them. Research results that there was no significant difference in loneliness, jealousy, over sensitiveness between the female sex workers group and the controls. But fear of rejection and doubt in the romantic relationship are significantly higher in the female sex workers group than in the controls. Among the subscales, childhood neglect and family secret were most frequently associated with the various obsessive behaviors. This is also the case for the control group, with family secret and physical abuse being the most. Finally, in regression analysis, in the control group, childhood physical abuse had the biggest impact on the obsessive behaviors in romantic relationship. On the other hand, the target group, childhood neglect had the biggest impact on the obsessive behaviors in romantic relationship.
The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effects of the fear of compassion and the difficulties of emotional regulation on the relationship between attachment trauma and interpersonal problems. The participants in this study were 296 Korean university students. The participants completed self-report questionnaires that assessed their attachment trauma, fear of compassion, emotional regulation difficulties, and interpersonal problems. Those with high attachment trauma had significantly more interpersonal problems, fear of compassion from others, fear of self-compassion, and emotional regulation difficulties than those with low attachment trauma. Further, fear of compassion and difficulties in emotional regulation were shown to fully mediate and fully dual-mediate the relationship between attachment trauma and interpersonal problems. These findings suggest that attachment trauma affects the degree to which university students experience interpersonal problems and that fear of compassion and emotional regulation difficulties may be the mechanism underlying that relationship. This paper discusses several limitations of this study and areas for future research.
The purpose of this study was to construct and test a hypothetical model about impact of childhood trauma on Relationship Addiction of Korean adults the multiple mediating effects of rejection sensitivity and internalized shame. A purposive sample of 465 Korean adults was recruited from three provincial areas. The collected data were then analyzed using SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 23.0 programs. For data analysis, descriptive statistics and structural equation modeling were performed. Multiple mediating effects analysis using phantom variable and bootstrapping were implemented to verify the mediating effect of the research model. We found no significant direct effect of childhood trauma on relationship addiction, but the effects of childhood trauma on Relationship Addiction were successively multi-mediated by internalized shame and rejection sensitivity (B=.265, p<.01), and single-mediated by internalized shame (B=.496, p<.01). Based on the results of this study, it can be suggested that in order to prevent relationship addiction of adults, it is necessary to first explore whether he has experienced childhood trauma and thereby has not only internalized shame but also rejection sensitivity.

This study is a descriptive correlation study investigating the effects of stress disorder symptoms, resilience, and social network on post-traumatic growth in traffic accident patients. The participants were 158 traffic accident cases enrolled from five 100-bed hospitals situated in city C. Data were collected from July 1 to August 31, 2018, and analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression using SPSS / Win23. The explanatory power of post-traumatic growth was determined to be 36.9%, and the factors affecting post-traumatic growth were social network and post-traumatic stress disorder. In addition, social networks completely established the relationship between resilience and post-traumatic growth. Our results confirmed that a wider social network and increased symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder of the traffic accident patient are associated with higher post-traumatic growth. Therefore, it is necessary to explore approaches that improve the social networks and resilience to help post-traumatic growth of traffic accident patients. Additional research is required through repetitive and long-term observation of the accident victims.
This study is to research the mediating effects of optimism and quality of relationship which interpersonal traumatic experience influences posttraumatic growth. It focuss on verifying the impact of interpersonal traumatic experience to optimism and quality of relationship and the influence of optimism and quality of relationship to posttraumatic growth. And also it is to verify dual mediating effect between optimism and quality of relationship. Data for this study were collected through the use of a survey instrument completed by 405 interpersonal traumatic experience, 30-60 age group. Collected data were analysed by AMOS program, Structure Equation Model(SEM) was implemented to verify the mediating effect between optimism and quality of relationship. Finally, Phantom Variable was utilized for verification of indirect influence of a multi mediating effects. The findings of this study were as follows, First, the result shows that the higher level interpersonal traumatic experience, the higher posttraumatic growth they have. Second, it shows that optimism and quality of relationship have partial mediating effect between interpersonal traumatic experience and posttraumatic growth. Third, it was analyzed that optimism and quality of relationship had double mediating effect. Based on these findings, the research discussion reinforced the importance of intervene with its optimism and quality of relationship in the site of those who experience interpersonal trauma. Theological, political and practical implications of this study are as follows. First, it has a series of significance in terms of that this study confirmed its influence considering the quality of relationship from interpersonal experience among relevant factors of traumatic accident, optimism among individual factors, quality of relationship among environmental factors based on 'the crisis of life and the theory of individual growth'. econd, even though optimism and quality of relationship were proved as major predictors for posttraumatic growth of those who experience interpersonal traumatic, psychological support center for traumatic experience is not operated systematically in Korea. Third, this study implies that it should intervene mainly with its optimism and quality of relationship in the site of those who experience interpersonal trauma such as any abuses including sexual abuse, bullying, and divorce.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of post-traumatic stress on anxiety of national merits of war and to investigate the moderating effect of ego resilience on the relationship between variables. We collected data on 200 national merits of war from August 2017 to October 2017 and examined general characteristics, post traumatic stress, anxiety, and ego resilience by using SPSS 24.0 Statistics Program. Post-traumatic stress was positively correlated with anxiety (r=.426, p<.001) and negatively correlation with ego-resilience (r=-.297, p<.001), respectively. Anxiety was negatively correlated with ego-resilience (r=-.656, p<.001), and ego-resilience was found to have a moderating effect on post-traumatic stress and anxiety (F=45.796, p<.001). Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to develop a national education system to manage post-traumatic stress and to operate a training and management program considering the characteristics of the subjects.
The purpose of this study was conducted to determine the working conditions, post-traumatic stress syndrome and the self-resilience of nurses, and find out the relationship between the post-traumatic stress syndrome and the self-resilience. Data were collected by questionnaire method among 220 General Hospital nurses at Gyeongnam G and J city. Data were analyzed by using SPSS 21.0 program WIN. The results of working conditions of the nurses majority were shift work 70.5%, currently working in the ward 54.6%. Scores were shown as Post-traumatic stress syndrome (28.20) and self resilience (39.98). There is a negative correlation (r =.226, p=.001) between the post-traumatic stress syndrome and the self-resilience. Based on the result, since working conditions of nurses caused psychological stress and nurses with high self-resilience eased the degree of post-traumatic stress, in terms of the personnel management of hospitals, a psychological intervention strategy should be considered.
The purpose of study is analyzing the mediating effect of resilience in the relationship between posttraumatic stress and mental health. To get the result, a survey was conducted, targeting social workers who work in Gwang-Ju and Jeonnam area and traumatic experience, posttraumatic stress, social support, resilience and mental health outcome measures were used in the survey. Key outcomes of the analysis are as follows. Firstly, it was showed that between posttraumatic stress, resilience and mental health have a direct relationship. Secondly, it was analyzed that resilience had a partial mediation effect in the relationship between posttraumatic stress and mental health. Based on these results, comprehensive interventions for improving the mental health and resilience of social workers were proposed.

Objectives : This study investigated lifetime experiences of trauma, treatment retention, and psychiatric symptoms among outpatients with panic disorder after initiation of pharmacotherapy. Our research hypothesis was that panic patients with childhood trauma would display more severe symptoms and less treatment retention compared to those without such history. Methods : A total of 135 first-visit outpatients with DSM-IV panic disorder were approached during the period from March 2012 to August 2016. Fifty-three patients (39%) either refused or returned incomplete questionnaires, leading to a final sample size of 82. Participants completed the Trauma History Screen, the Beck Depression Inventory, the Beck Anxiety Inventory, and the Abbreviated PTSD checklist. Results : The number of lifetime trauma was significantly correlated with treatment retention (rho=-0.269, p=0.015). Among subtypes of trauma, only childhood physical abuse was significantly correlated with treatment retention (rho=-0.298, p=0.007). Conclusions : Our results indicated that psychological trauma, particularly of an interpersonal nature from childhood, can affect pharmacotherapy treatment retention in panic disorder. This may be mediated by poor patient-doctor relationships originating from trust issues among childhood trauma survivors or lack of perceived improvement due to the more severe symptoms and unfavorable course experienced by those with childhood trauma. Further studies are needed to explore the reasons for poor treatment adherence in this population.
The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of the meaning in life(ML) on the mental health(MH) of university students with relationship loss and to verify the mediating effects of posttraumatic growth(PTG). Data collected from 349 university students in Daejeon and Chugcheong region was analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, correlation analysis, and hierarchical analysis using SPSS 18.0. As the results, 1. Both ML and PTG showed a significant influence on the MH. 2. ML, PTG and MH showed a positive correlation. 3. PTG had a mediating effects on the process where ML influenced MH. The implications and limitations of the study also was suggested for a healthy mental health formation of university students with relationship troubles.
