Causal Role of Emotionally based Satisfaction and Service Reputation in Explaining Relationship between Service Quality, Satisfaction and Service Loyalty in Mobile Telecommunication Company (이동통신사의 서비스품질과 만족 및 서비스충성도 관계에서 감정적 만족과 서비스명성의 인과적 역할)

  • The purpose of this paper is to identify the causal role both emotionally based satisfaction and service reputation by examining the relationships among each dimensions of service quality, cognitive satisfaction, emotionally based satisfaction, service reputation and service loyalty in mobile telecommunication company. The results of the study are as follows: First, conviction quality had not influence on both cognitive satisfaction and emotionally based satisfaction, but tangibles quality had more influence on cognitive satisfaction than emotionally based satisfaction and responsiveness quality had more influence on emotionally based satisfaction than cognitive satisfaction. It found that there was a significant positive relationship between dimensions of the service quality, cognitive satisfaction and emotionally based satisfaction, and dimensions of the service quality affect satisfaction either directly or indirectly through emotion. Second, consumer satisfaction had more effect on service loyalty through service reputation than direct effect. Therefore, service loyalty can be build by increasing emotionally based satisfaction and service reputation to customer who is perceived as good service.

The Relationship of Clothing Behavior to Body Image and Self-Esteem of Older Men and Women (노년층 남녀의 의복행동에 대한 신체이미지와 자아존중의 관계)

  • 본 연구는 노년층 남성과 여성의 의복행동에 대한 신체이미지와 자아존중의 관계를 알아보는 것으로 구체적인 목적은 첫째, 노년층 남성과 여성의 신체이미지와 의복행동과의 관계를 알아보고, 둘째, 자아존중과 의복행동과의 관계를 알아보며, 끝으로 의복행동에 대한 신체이미지와 자아존중과의 관계에 있어서 남녀간의 차이점과 유사점을 규명하는 것이다. 조사대상은 나이 55세 이상의 미국 남부와 거주하는 남성과 여성으로 302부의 설문지를 배부하여 108부를 자료분석에 이용하였다. 신체이미지는 신체 18부분에 대한 만족도로 측정하였고, 자아존중은 Rosenberg의 자아존중 척도를 사용하였으며, 의복행동은 의복태도, 유행의견선도력, 쇼핑에 대한 만족, 상점충성도, 의복비 지출을 포함하였다. 결과로 남녀 노년층에게 있어 신체만족도는 대부분의 의복행동과 상관 관계가 있었으며 유행선도력과 상표충성도에 대한 상관관계가 있어서만 남녀간 유의한 차이가 있었다. 또한 자아존중은 남녀 모두에게 있어 대부분의 의복행동과 상관관계가 있었으며 유행선도력과의 관계에서만 남녀간 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

The relationship between job stress and burnout of correctional workers : focusing on the mediating effect of self-compassion (교정기관 종사자의 직무스트레스와 소진의 관계: 자기자비 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships between job stress, life satisfaction, burnout, and self-compassion. A survey was conducted in February 2018 for employees working at the Korea Legal Protection and Welfare Agency, and 213 data were included in the final analysis. A structural model was developed to examine the relationships between the variables used in this study, and the model-fit and mediating effects of the developed model were examined using SPSS and AMOS. For this study, the Korean occupational stress scale, life satisfaction scale, Maslach burnout inventory, and Korean self-compassion scale were used. We found that self-compassion is fully mediated between job stress and life satisfaction and between job stress and burnout. Also, life satisfaction is partially mediated between self-compassion and burnout. These results mean that self-compassion has significant effects on job stress, life satisfaction, and burnout. In particular, the mediating effect of self-compassion shows the vicious cycle of high job stress - low self-compassion - low life satisfaction - high burnout. Based on these results, the future implications of program development based on self-compassion strategies were discussed in order for workers in correctional facilities to decrease job stress and burnout and increase life satisfaction.

  • Author analyzed the relationship among job stressors, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment of police officials. And the Author analyzed the moderating effect of social support on the relationship between job stressors, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment. First, I found that job stressors associated with characteristics of the job or the organization affect job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Job stressors significantly affecting job satisfaction were found to be perceived uncontrol and role ambiguity. Second, the job satisfaction's impact on organizational commitment in the impact relationship was significantly very large. Third, despite the role overload, the group with a high social support had a high job satisfaction. In addition, if there is high level of social support, job satisfaction could significantly increase organizational commitment.

  • This study was done to identify the relationship between emotional labor, self-esteem, and major satisfaction of clinical practice among nursing students. Participants were 199 nursing students who had clinical practice that located in B- city and K- do during the period from August 3rd to 17th, 2015. The average mean scores for self esteem, emotional labor, and major satisfaction were 3.53, 3.26 and 3.46 (5 scale). Pearson's correlation revealed self esteem had a significant positive effect on major satisfaction, while emotional labor had a negative effect on major satisfaction. Factors having a significant influence on major satisfaction included self esteem, satisfaction of college life, and level of academic scores. These factors explained 34.0% of variance in major satisfaction. Thus, the satisfaction of college life, self esteem, and academic score were required to manage for major satisfaction of nursing students.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate whether flow experience is effective as a mediator in the effect of BJ attributes on viewer satisfaction. For this study, a survey was conducted on a total of 198 users who watch one - person game broadcasting on African TV. According to analysis, first, the joy flow experience is mediating role in the relationship between intimacy BJ attributes and viewing satisfaction. Second, the Control flow experience did not mediating role in the relationship between all BJ attributes and viewing satisfaction. Third, the attention flow experience is mediating role in the relationship between intimacy and reliability BJ attributes and viewing satisfaction. Fourth, the Time distortion flow experience is mediating role in the relationship between intimacy BJ attributes and viewing satisfaction. Fifth, the Self loss flow experience did not mediating role in the relationship between all BJ attributes and viewing satisfaction. The intimacy of the game BJ was found to affect mediocre satisfaction, attention, attention, and time distorted flow experience.

Relationship between Academic and Clinical Practice Stress and Major Satisfaction in Nursing Students (간호대학생의 학업 및 임상실습 스트레스와 전공만족도와의 관계)

  • This study aimed to identify the relationship between academic and clinical practice stress and major satisfaction of nursing students. The data was collected from 140 nursing students by the online survey. Data were analyzed using SPSS 18.0. As a result of analyzing the differences in academic stress, clinical practice stress, and major satisfaction according to general characteristics, it was found that academic stress had a difference with religion (F = 14.348, p < .001). And there was a statistical difference in major satisfaction with grade (F = 4.582, p = .004). As for the correlation between academic and clinical practice stress, and major satisfaction, academic stress and clinical practice stress were positively correlated (r = .388, p <.01), and clinical practice stress had a positive correlation with major satisfaction (r=.336, p<.01). Therefore, it is considered that it is necessary to develop a program to lower academic stress in order to improve the satisfaction of the majors of nursing students.

An Analysis of Relationship between Motivation and Satisfaction of Visitors at Cheongnamdae (청남대 방문객 집단별 동기와 만족도 간 관계 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the difference between local residents and tourist groups in the relationship between the motivation for visiting and the satisfaction of Chung Nam Dae which is the leading tourist attraction in the Chungbuk region. We obtained 200 validated samples each of the local residents in Chungcheongbuk-do Province and the tourists from outside of Chungcheongbuk-do Province with experience of visiting Cheongnamdae through the survey using the questionnaire organized through literature research. The analysis result showed that the relationship between motivation and satisfaction varied depending on the overall sample, local residents, and tourist and that the natural relaxation and convenience had a positive impact on satisfaction in all groups. There was a difference in the influence between motivation and satisfaction between the two groups. Four motivational factors, including natural relaxation, convenience, historicity, and relationship had the significant influence on satisfaction for the local residents while two motivational factors, including natural relaxation and convenience, had the significant influence on satisfaction for the tourists. Based on the results of the study, we presented the theoretical and practical implications and suggested follow-up studies.

The Effects of Work and Life Satisfaction on the Turnover Intention, and the Moderating Effects of Employment Type (일과 생활만족도가 이직의도에 미치는 영향과 고용형태의 조절효과 분석)

  • This study analyzed the effects of wage workers' job satisfaction, life satisfaction on turnover intention, and moderating effect of employment type after the global financial crisis using Korean Labor and Income Panel Study data. As a result, we found that the higher the job satisfaction is, the lower the turnover intention. However, the higher the job satisfaction and life satisfaction are, the higher the turnover intention. This is because the more satisfied with the job environment, the higher the tendency to seek better job opportunities, or the change in occupational value that favored free work. The higher the age, the higher the educational level, and the regular jobs are, the turnover intention decreased. In addition, the interaction terms of job satisfaction, job environmental satisfaction, life satisfaction, and regular employment all showed a moderating effect of employment type. However, since the results of the relationship between job satisfaction, job environmental satisfaction, life satisfaction and turnover intention, and the moderating effect may be due to limitations of measurement variables, further study is needed.

Relation between Appearance Satisfaction and Self-efficacy in College Students (대학생의 외모만족도와 자기효능감의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the appearance satisfaction and self-efficacy of college students. The relation between appearance satisfaction and self-efficacy was also examined. The study adopted a descriptive survey design. The convenience sample consisted of 395 undergraduate college students from three universities in D city. The data were collected from May to July, 2011 using the Body Cathexis Scale and the Self Efficacy Scale. Data analysis was performed with SPSS WIN 21.0 Program. The scores on both scales showed a significant difference between male and female students, and the male students had higher scores. Male and female students had similar rank order of body part by satisfaction scores. There were significant correlations between appearance satisfaction scores and self-efficacy scores but there were no significant differences between the correlation coefficients in male and female students. This result indicates that the effect of appearance satisfaction on self-efficacy was similar in both male and female students. The findings of this study suggest that an intervention program to enhance appearance satisfaction is effective in increasing self-efficacy of college students.
