This study examines the North Korean defectors' economic and psychological adjustment status in South Korean society focusing on the specificity of North Korean defectors with the social integration perspective. We conducted a questionnaire survey of 225 North Korean defectors in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do and conducted analysis using the SPSS 22.0 program. The results of the study are as follows. First, the economic adaptation of North Korean defectors was evaluated to be generally low. Second, North Korean refugees' psychological and social adjustment status is generally lower than average, especially cultural adaptation stress, friendship, and satisfaction with physical and mental health. Third, the psychological and cultural adaptation strategy and social support of defectors affected the life satisfaction positively and the adaptation stress had significant negative impact on life satisfaction. Therefore, strategies which reducing adaptive stress and enhancing psychological and cultural adaptation strategies are needed to be implemented in South Korean society. Based on results, policy alternatives were discussed.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors influencing financial preparedness for retirement of the middle-aged North Korean defectors (resettling in South Korea) using concepts of 'financial literacy' and 'financial inclusion'. Those questioned were 100 North Korean defectors of 40-60 years-old residing in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do Province selected by convenience sampling, one of the non-probability sampling. Path analysis is used as a main analysis method. The results of the study show a direct effect in which increased financial literacy resulted in better financial preparedness for retirement among middle-aged North Korean defectors at a statistically significant level. In addition, by boost-trapping method, financial inclusion has its mediating effect on the relationship between financial literacy and financial preparedness for retirement. However, this study shows that influence of financial literacy on financial preparedness for retirement is different across economic statues. The mediating effect of financial inclusion on the relationship between financial literacy and financial preparedness is statistically significant only for the low-income group. Meanwhile, for the above average income group, financial literacy has a direct effect on the financial preparedness after retirement at a statistically significant level. Based on these results, this study suggests practical and policy implementation such as necessity of customized financial education suited to their economic status, development of financial instruments for retirement, introduction of financial social workers to prepare stable old age of North Korean defectors.

통신서비스 시장은 유무선 및 통신과 방송서비스의 컨버전스화가 진행됨에 따라 미래 시장에서의 경쟁구도에 관심이 집중되고 있다 최근 영국, 이탈리아 등 유립을 중심으로 지배적 사업자의 병목설비에 대한조직분리의 일환으로 기능분리가 활발하게 논의 및 도입되고 있다. 이 중 이탈리아는 TI에 대한 운영분리 수준의 구조규제를 기능분리 수준으로 강화하였다. 이는 운영분리와 같은 구조적인 조치에도 불구하고 TI의 지배력 유지, 경쟁 사업자들의 지속적 불만 제기 등의 문제가 해결되지 않은데다가 TI의 소유구조 변화에 따른 네트워크의 안정성 및 보안성에 대한 우려에 따른 것으로 해석되고 있다. 이탈리아의 기능분리는 동등접속을 위한 사업부로 Open Access의 설립, 신규 인센티브 제도, 각종 투명성 확보장치, 감독기관의 신설 등의 내용이 포함되어 있으며 근본적인 원칙은 영국의 경우와 유사하다. TI는 기능분리를 통해 규제기관과의 관계 개선, 소매시장 규제완화 등의 효과를 기대하고 있으며 2008년 2월 Open Access를 출범하였다.

Obviating user churn is a prominent strategy to capitalize on online games, eluding the initial investments required for the development of another. Extant literature has examined factors that may induce user churn, mainly from perspectives of motives to play and game as a virtual society. However, such works largely dismiss the service aspects of online games. Dissatisfaction of user needs constitutes a crucial aspect for user churn, especially with online services where users expect a continuous improvement in service quality via software updates. Hence, we examine the relationship between a game's quality management and its user base. With text mining and survival analysis, we identify complaint factors that act as key predictors of user churn. Additionally, we find that enjoyment-related factors are greater threats to user base than usability-related ones. Furthermore, subsequent quasi-experiment shows that improvements in the complaint factors (i.e., via game patches) curb churn and foster user retention. Our results shed light on the responsive role of developers in retaining the user base of online games. Moreover, we provide practical insights for game operators, i.e., to identify and prioritize more perilous complaint factors in planning successive game patches.

Italian industrial design influences strong impression worldwidely by their identity of free style, unique and artistic character, and get a very important status in aspect of the history of design and economy. Also, italy has many common feature with Korea in the geographic back- ground, character of history, culture, and nationality that is well-oriented by emotion, and it seems to be formed a valuable study. This study is based on the book 'Italian Design Through Generations' by kazuko Sato and tried to examine the character of Italian design by searching history, exam- ples, representative designers and enterprises of Italy, and to draw some lesson from it for establishiment identity of Korean design by reflecting to the origin character of Korea. Also, this study aims to inspect change of the civilization paradigm which is entering new aspect, and to suggest an ablity of our origin character and direction of the development.

This study aims to examine appropriate kinds of pan oil to release a cake from the pan coated with polyether sulphone and to prove the change of acid value and peroxide value during the process of baking. The major factor effecting the rate of release of the cakes from the pan was properties of the oils rather than the additives. The releasing rate appeared higher as the iodine value was lower. The highest releasing rate was found in the sample, which was made of coconut oil plus 2% of wax, 2% of lecithin. The changes of acid value of the pan oil between the beginning and after baking was little different. In contrast, Peroxide value showed a great change after baking.

The purpose of the study is to investigate baseline data by exploring the self-esteem and general appearance management behavior in North Korean immigrant women. The data were collected from December 2014 to February 2015 from 201 participants. The data were analyzed using SPSS 21.0 program. The followings are the results of the present study. 1) The mean score of self-esteem was 2.40 in 4 points, and the mean of the appearance concern was 3.20 in 5 points. And the mean of general appearance management behavior was 2.67 in 5 points. Subjects had a lot of make-up and clothes behaviors. However exercise, food intake behaviors of subjects were lowerer than average. 2) There were significant differences between self-esteem, the appearance concern and general charateristeics(e.g age, intent weight loss, interest in cosmetic surgery). In general appearance management behavior, there was a significant difference among age, interest in cosmetic surgery and job in North Korea. 3) There was a significant correlation among self-esteem and the appearance concern, general appearance management behavior, age, intent weight control as well as interest in cosmetic surgery. In the appearance concern, it showed a correlation with general appearance management behavior, age, intent weight control as well as interest in cosmetic surgery. In general appearance management behavior, there was a significant correlation among the age, intent weight control and interest in cosmetic surgery. 4) 44.7% of general appearance management behavior was explained: self-esteem, the appearance concern. Therefore, it can be suggested that utilization of developing programs for improving self-esteem and appearance management behavior.

The purpose of this study was to find out correlation and predictors of posttraumatic growth of North Korean refugees in South Korea in 7years. This survey was conducted on 105 North Korean refugees in 7 years with questions on socio-demographic characteristics, personal & social variables, psychological trauma in North Korea and stress experience in South Korea. The influence of these variables was analysed. Result indicated that hope for future, perceived satisfaction, and acculturative stress had influence on the total quality of life in the South. And total quality of life affected PTG, especially emotional factors of quality of life during the early 3years living in the South affected PTG.. Additionally not only emotional but also social factors of quality of life also affected PTG with North Korean refugees in the South in 7 years. Finally, social and mental health service programs for North Krean refugees was discussed.
