A Wisdom Asset Service Design Proposal by Service Nature (서비스본질기반의 지혜자산화 서비스디자인 제안)

  • The current research investigates an optimal design for the service system, which refers to the entire process of implementing, providing, and utilizing wisdom assets. We analyzed the intrinsic commonality of wisdom assets and services, and carried out research based on optimality in fidelity to service essence. The essential characteristics of service are horizontality, interactivity, harmonization, and relationship. It is suggested that the operating process can be implemented in the best condition when the wisdom asset service system is designed based on the four essential characteristics of services. It has been demonstrated that the entire process of production, delivery, marketing and quality control of wisdom contents can be designed on the basis of the essence of wisdom and service. After designing a basic service model, detailed service models are presented. The purpose of this study was to solve the problems of the material civilization society which is suffering mentally and to design the social service model which is high in productivity but mentally healthy. By supplementing and deepening the results of this study, it will be possible to develop and implement desirable social service model in which all societies live a happy life.

A Critical Consideration of the Relationships between 'Academic Discipline', 'Subject', 'Subject Content', and 'Subject Matter Education': Focus on Science Education (학문, 교과, 교과내용, 교과교육 간 관계에 대한 비판적 고찰 -과학교육을 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this study is to critically examine the relationship between 'academic disciplines', 'subject', 'subject content', and 'subject matter education' as an attempt to explore the meaning and identity of subject matter education. In this study, first, we looked at the origin of the 'separative' perspective, focusing on science education, and the effects of this perspective on the relationship between 'academic discipline', 'subject', 'subject content', and 'subject matter education'. In addition, the relationship between them was examined from 'essential-holistic' perspective. As a result of the study, it was found that the 'separative' perspective has limitations in grasping the organic and overall relationship between 'academic discipline', 'subject', 'subject content', and 'subject matter education'. Therefore, we need to overcome the existing 'separative' perspective in order to go beyond the current horizon. On the other hand, the 'essential-holistic' perspective shows a close relationship that is not essentially separated between 'academic discipline', 'subject', 'subject content', and 'subject matter education'. It is expected as a perspective that can help solve the teacher education problem caused by the 'separative' perspective.

Inducing Irrational Numbers in Junior High School (중학교에서의 무리수 지도에 관하여)

  • We investigate the inducing method of irrational numbers in junior high school, under algebraic as well as geometric point of view. Also we study the treatment of irrational numbers in the 7th national curriculum. In fact, we discover that i) incommensurability as essential factor of concept of irrational numbers is not treated, and ii) the concept of irrational numbers is not smoothly interconnected to that of rational numbers. In order to understand relationally the incommensurability, we suggest the method for inducing irrational numbers using construction in junior high school.

Exploring the Essence of 'Science Content' and 'Science Education': Focus on 'Essential-Holistic' Perspective and Practices (과학교과내용학과 과학교육학의 본질 탐구 -'본질적-총체적' 관점과 실천전통을 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this study is to critically examine science content and science education from the 'essential-holistic' perspective, in particular, among the core disciplines constituting the teacher education curriculum. In this study, we first, analyzed the definition of the 'essential-holistic' perspective, the philosophical background, and the relationship with the practices in-depth, and then, from the 'essential-holistic' perspective, conducted an inquiry into the essence of science content and science education. The results of this study are as follows: first, according to the 'essential-holistic' perspective, science content is a study that explores the science practices and systematizes the results of that inquiry. Major activities of science content include the establishment and implementation of 'science for teachers' and participation in the development of science curriculum (textbook). Second, science education according to the 'essential-holistic' perspective is a study about in-depth exploration of essential problems in science education phenomena rooted in the science practices and the practice of good teaching. More specifically, science education is a field that carries out work related to inviting, participating, and guiding students to grow into science practices (i.e. initiating into practices). The main activities of science education related to this include activities ranging from the development of the science curriculum (textbook) to teaching and evaluation (recording). In this study, we discussed important tasks to be carried out in the future based on the results of the study.

A Study on Service Industry Development Policy by Service Nature (서비스본질 기반의 서비스산업 정책방안)

  • The current research investigates the strategies for fostering service industries from the service's nature perspectives. Because the service industry is broad and heterogeneous in nature, if service's nature is not considered in building strategies for developing service industries, it would have a limited perspective, and thus, it would be difficult to foster large growth in service industries. In addition, not considering service's nature would not encourage synergy among service sectors nor encourage innovative development among individual sectors. Therefore, we need to understand that different service sectors are all under the umbrella for service industries, and consider the service's nature. The current research considers the service's relational, bidirectional, horizontality, and harmonization nature of services, and also, intangibility, inseparability, heterogeneity, perishability were considered in suggesting strategies for fostering service industries. These results can be used to developing governmental policies for developing service industries.

Understanding of Mathematics Teacher Learning and Teaching Practice in Transition (수학 교사 학습 및 교수법 변화에 관한 이해)

  • Given that less attention has been paid to teachers than students in mathematics education, this study attempted to provide theoretical foundations to understand better mathematics teacher learning and teaching practice in transition. First, this paper summarized three conceptions of teacher learning on the basis of the relationships of knowledge and practice followed by several implications to mathematics teacher education. Second, this paper provided a brief overview of cognition as situated, social, and distributed. This paper then explored new implications and issues about mathematics teacher learning that the overview brought to light. It is expected for teacher educators and researchers to participate in rich discussion of many implicit issues about teacher learning that this paper begins to raise.

The Types of Relationship Quality and Multi-loyal Relations of Department Store Fashion Consumers (백화점 패션상품 구매고객 관계본질 유형과 충성대상)

  • The objective of this study is to identify the types of relationship quality of department store fashion consumers. This study also aims to look at if consumers form different type of relationship quality with various relation partners. In this study, qualitative research was conducted on 25 female consumers to come to a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of fashion consumers' diverse loyal relationships. Fashion consumer's relationship quality consisted of 'self attachment', 'symbolic', 'trust', 'intimacy', 'compensational bind', and 'habitual alternative'. 6 relationship quality dimensions were distinguished according to each dimension's emotional involvement level and conscious activeness level of consumers. While self attachment was classified as emotional and active relationship quality, compensational bind and habitual alternative were typical relationship quality types of fashion store loyalty such as department store loyalty, thus classified as inertial and cognitive relationship quality type. This study might provide a useful direction to apparel brands and retailers in finding out which relationship quality type is more effective for differentiated marketing strategies.

Brand Relationship Quality of Brand Loyal Fashion Consumers and Their Loyalty Orientation (상표충성 소비자의 상표관계본질과 상표충성성향)

  • The purpose of this study is 1) to develop and validate the BRQ construct perceived by brand loyal consumers, 2) to evaluate the predictive capacity of the individual BRQ dimension and brand relationship benefit on consumers' relationship intention, and 3) to identify the distinctive loyalty orientation based on the concept of BRQ. Questionnaire data from 379 brand loyal consumers on BRQ, brand relationship benefit, relationship intention, and their brand loyal behavior pattern were analyzed. The results showed that brand loyal consumers' BRQ composed of 3 dimensions including 'compensational bind', 'self attachment', and 'trust'. In addition, the mediating role of BRQ in predicting consumers' loyal relationship intention was validated using the structural equation model. Regarding the effect of each BRQ dimension on loyal relationship intention, consumers' intention to be loyal to an apparel brand was more explained by self attachment than the other dimensions. This study also intended to provide a useful direction to apparel brands in finding out which relationship quality type is more effective for differentiated marketing strategies by comparing the BRQ of single-brand loyal consumers and that of multi-brand loyal consumers.

  • 본 연구는 청소년의 인터넷 중독에 대한 문제를 이해하기 위한 새로운 접근방법을 소개하고 있다. 기존 연구의 대부분은 인터넷과 온라인 게임 자체에 집중하여 청소년의 행동을 조절하기 위한 제도적, 기술적 방법을 소개하였다. 이러한 접근방법은 본질적인 청소년 사이버 문화에 대한 이해가 결여되어 단기적인 성과는 거둘 수 있지만 장기적이고 거시적인 관점에서 문제를 해소하기에는 제한적이다. 본 연구에서는 청소년의 정체성 성립과정과 자극과 반응 모델, 관계질서 모델 등을 통하여 본질적인 인터넷 중독 해소를 위한 접근방법을 제안하고자 한다. 본 연구의 결과물은 향후 지속될 실증적 연구에 토대가 될 것이며 청소년의 인터넷 중독 예방 활동을 위한 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
