If the dentist and the patient work together to achieve long-term maintenance, they will create a thicker trust relationship.

새로운 참여정부가 출범한 2003년, 우리 도서관계에는 많은 일들이 있었다. ‘기적의 도서관 프로젝트’ ‘한 도시 한 책읽기 운동’ ‘북스타트 운동’ ‘도서관 보상금제도 도입’ ‘도서관 및 도서진흥법 개정’ 등 2003년에 일어났던 많은 일들이 올해도 이어져 진행되리라 생각된다. 이제는 분권과 자율의 시대라고들 말한다. 우리 도서관들도 새롭게 변화되는 도서관 정책과 사회 · 문화적 환경 변화에 적절하게 대처하기 위해 훨씬 더 많은 고민과 노력을 기울여야 할 것이다. 이에 ‘도서관문화’ 1월호에서는 우리도서관계 각 단체의 올 한해 각오와 사업방향 등이 무엇인지 알아보는 지면을 마련하였다.

This study examined the effect of the respiratory training centered at forced breathing exercise of blowing out a candle on the improvement of adults' respiratory ability, which means the increased muscle strength of body trunk. After the four-week candle-blowing breathing training, the forced vital capacity (FVC) increased statistically significantly (p<.05). The forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV1) did not show a statistically significant difference before and after the four-week intervention(p>.05). The peak expiratory flow rate (PEF) statistically significantly increased after the four-week blowing-out-the-candle training (p<.05). This study examined the relationship between forced breathing training and pulmonary function of healthy adults including FVC, FEV1, and PEF, which means the increased muscle strength of body trunk, by implementing blowing-out-the-candle breathing exercise centered at forced respiratory exercise and obtained significant results. Further studies that use a sample of patients with advanced respiratory system disease for whom physical therapy is absolutely necessary will be required in the future.

본 논문에서는 국내 여러 지역에서 수행된 도로, 철도 및 기타 토목공사를 위한 설계과정에서 조사가 이루어진 현지조사와 시추코아 및 시추공을 대상으로 암반평가가 이루어진 자료들을 대상으로 암반분류방법간의 상관관계에 대해 조사하였다. 상관관계에 대한 해석은 암반분류에서 많이 사용되고 있는 RMR과 Q분류법간의 상관관계 그리고 RQD와 두 암반평가방법간의 관계에 대하여 암석성인별 분류 즉 화성암, 퇴적암 및 변성암별로 검토를 실시하였다. 전체적으로 분류방법의 상관관계는 좋게 나타나고 있다. 그리고 음파검층에 의한 탄성파 P파 속도와 RMR의 상관관계를 고찰하였는데, 이 두 요소간의 상관성은 비교적 양호하였으며 보다 신뢰성 있는 관계식을 유도하기 위한 노력이 필요하다.

This study attempts to examine the moderating effect of religiosity in the relationship between religion and secular giving behavior (absolute amount and philanthropic effort). For the analysis, this study utilizes 'Giving Korea 2012' by the Beautiful Foundation and employs Tobit regression model. Focusing on giving amount, major findings are that (1) Protestants and Catholics give greater amounts for secular cause than those with no religious affiliation; and (2) interaction between Protestants and religiosity and interaction between Catholics and religiosity have significant relationships with citizens' secular giving amount in a positive direction. Focusing on philanthropic effort (giving amount divided by family income), major findings are that (1) there is no significant relationship between religion types and citizens' philanthropic effort and (2) interaction between Protestants and religiosity and interaction between Catholics and religiosity have significant relationships with citizens'philanthropic effort in a positive direction. This study provides new knowledge foundation on citizens' secular giving behavior and contributes to developing effective fundraising strategies of nonprofit organizations on religion-related donor markets.
