The main purpose of this study is to investigate the Korean youths' impressions of the scientist. The concept of impression is assumed to reflect our significant view of an object better than that of image. That is, the basic assumption is that we tend to behave toward an object, based on its impression which is conceived to be "significant". In late August and early September 2002, a national survey for 1,204 youth (406 for 5th grad; 381 for 8th grade; and 417 for 11th grade) was conducted to find the Korean youths' impressions of the scientist. Our major finding is that the Korean youths' most impressions of the scientist were re his or her activities such as inventing, experimenting, researching, etc. And the major sources of those impressions were found to be television, book, and class. Other findings were about youths' impressions of the science teacher and opinions of the scientist as a profession. Finally, some policy-related implications based on survey results were presented at the end.

본 연구는 임플란트 상부 구조물 제작을 위한 pick-up 인상 채득시 flag type의 새로운 인상용 코핑을 이용하여 제작된 모형과 기존에 사용되고 있는 인상용 코핑에 의해 제작된 모형의 정확성을 3차원적으로 비교하여 새로운 형태의 인상용 코핑을 사용한 인상법의 유용성을 알아보고자 하였다. 아크릴릭 레진 블록으로 좌측은 전부 무치악, 우측은 제 2 소구치가 상실된 상악 기준 모형을 제작하였다. 상악 우측 제 2소구치, 좌측 중절치, 좌측 견치, 좌측 제 2 소구치, 좌측 제 2 대구치 부위에 외부 육각 연결 방식의 임플란트 고정체를 식립하였다. 기준 모형에 사용된 인상용 코핑 및 코핑 간에 연결 여부에 따라 세 가지 실험군으로 분류하였다; 임플란트 고정체에 flag type 의 인상용 코핑을 체결한 경우 (실험군 I), 기존 형태인 원통형의 인상용 코핑을 체결한 후 인상용 코핑을 자가 중합 아크릴릭 레진으로 연결한 경우 (실험군 Ii), 원통형 인상용 코핑을 체결한 후 자가 중합 레진으로 연결하지 않은 경우 (실험군 III). 총 15개의 모형을 제작하여 인상 채득하여 작업 모형을 제작한 후 기준 모형 및 작업 모형을 5번씩 측정하여 통계 처리하였다. flag type의 인상용 코핑을 이용하여 인상 채득한 군, 기존의 인상용 코핑을 자가 중합 레진으로 splinting하여 인상 채득한 군, 기존의 인상용 코핑을 splinting 하지 않고 인상 채득한 군의 작업 모형에서 각 임플란트 유사체 간 거리 차이는 통계적으로 유의하지 않았다(P >.05). 또한 동일 수평면에 대한 수직적 거리를 비교한 결과 flag type의 인상용 코핑을 사용하여 제작한 작업 모형이 Point 2에서는 기준 모형에 가장 근접한 수치를 보였고 Point 3에서는 오차가 가장 컸으며 이는 통계적으로 유의하였다(P <.05). 그 외 Point에서는 세 가지 방법 간에 통계적으로 유의한 차이는 없었다(P >.05). 새로운 인상용 코핑을 사용한 인상법은 기존의 인상용 코핑을 사용한 인상법과 비교적 유사한 정확성을 보여주었다.

본 연구에서는 얼굴의 물리적 특성과 얼굴의 성격인상과의 관계에 대하여 검토하였다. 피험자들에게는 일본인 남녀의 정지화면이 제시되었다. 피험자는 31개의 성격특성 항목에 대하여 7점 척도를 사용한 평가를 실시하였다. 요인 분석의 결과 $\ulcorner$사회적 바람직성$\lrcorner$, $\ulcorner$활동성$\lrcorner$, $\ulcorner$지성$\lrcorner$의 3요인이 추출되었다. 각각의 사진 자극에 대하여 얼굴 부분의 물리적 특성과 각 요인 득점과의 관계를 조사한 결과 남성의 얼굴에서는 눈에 대한 특징 지표와 $\ulcorner$지성$\lrcorner$ 요인이 여성의 얼굴에서는 뺨에 대한 지표와 $\ulcorner$지성$\lrcorner$ 요인, $\ulcorner$사회적 바람직성$\lrcorner$ 요인이 관계가 있었다. 이러한 결과는 얼굴의 성격인상 평가에는 그 얼굴이 남성인가 여성인가에 의해, 혹은 피험자의 성별에 의해 판단의 기초가 되는 특징이 상이함을 시사하고 있다.

목적: 이 연구의 목적은 종래형 인상채득 방법과 디지털 인상채득 방법에 대한 환자들의 느낌, 만족도와 선호도를 설문조사를 통해 비교분석하는 것이다. 연구 재료 및 방법: 이 연구에 참여한 13명의 임상시험자(남자 6명, 여자 7명)는 종래형 인상채득 방법과 디지털 인상채득 방법을 동일에 경험하였다. 종래형 인상채득방법은 폴리비닐실록산(PVS) 인상재를 사용하였고, 디지털 인상채득은 새로 개발된 구강스캐너를 사용하였다. 두 종류의 인상채득을 시행한 직후 바로 설문조사를 진행하였고, 설문조사지는 다음의 세 개의 범주로 구성되었다; 1) 일반적인 치과 진료에 관해 2) 종래형 인상채득방법에 대한 만족도 3) 디지털 인상채득 방법에 대한 만족도. 만족도에 대한 측정은 Likert 척도를 사용하여 평가되었다. 설문조사 응답 중 분포에 관한 것은 백분율을 사용하였고, 비교 만족도에 유의성에 대한 통계분석은 paired t-test 검정을 사용하였으며 통계적 유의수준은 P < 0.05 로 하였다. 결과: 두 가지 인상채득 방법에 대한 전반적인 만족도에서 유의미한 차이가 있었다(P < 0.05). 디지털 인상채득방식이 숨쉬기, 냄새에 대한 항목에서 종래의 인상채득방법에 비해 높은 만족도를 보였다. 다만 구강 스캐너를 사용했을 때 스캐너의 팁 사이즈가 크고 입을 오래 벌리고 있어야 하는 문제로 인해 TMJ에 불편감을 야기했다. 결론: 구강스캐너를 사용하는 디지털 인상채득 방법이 종래의 인상채득방법에 비하여 더 선호되는 것을 확인하였다. 대부분의 조사에서 참가자들이 디지털 인상채득방법을 타인에게 추천할 의향이 있으며, 다음 보철 치료 시에도 디지털 인상채득 방법을 선택할 것이라고 했다.

오늘날 세계 전자공업시장 규모는 1조달러선을 넘어섰고 마침내 세계 최대 규모의 산업으로 발돋움할 날도 멀지 않았다. 이른바 전자산업혁명의 중추적인 역할을 하고 있는 집적회로는 21세기 디지털시대의 핵심체인 마이크로칩의 '모태' 이기도 하다. 20세기 최대의 발명으로 평가되고 있는 집적회로를 40여년 전 수더분한 인상의 말수가 적은 재크 킬비라는 당시 '무명'의 한 청년이 발견하리라고 생각했던 사람은 아무도 없었다.

서울대 58년 역사상 첫여성 처장으로 임명됐던 노정혜 연구처장(생명과학부 교수)이 7월말로 2년간의 임기를 끝냈다. 노 처장은 지난해 우리 사회를 혼란스럽게 했던 황우석 박사의 줄기세포 논문조작 사건을 맡아 진실 규명에 중요한 일을 해낸 것으로 평가받고 있다. 당시 노 처장은 전국민을 대상으로 한 방송 생중계에서 차분한 어조와 절제된 표현, 힘 있는 발언으로 강한 인상을 남겼다. 또 서울대 자연대 수석 졸업, 20대 서울대 여교수 임용, 강금실(전법무부 장관), 김영란(대법관)과 고교 동기 등의 사실이 알려지면서 노 연구처장에 대한 개인적인 호기심을 불러일으키기도 했다. 정운찬 서울대 23대 총장의 이임식이 열리던 지난 7월 19일, 서울대 본부의 연구처장실에서 그를 만났다. 그는“과학자가 행정업무에 적합하지 않다는 것은 선입견일 뿐”이라며“과학자는 합리성을 갖고 있기 때문에 오히려 더 잘할 수 있다”고 밝혔다.

The purpose of this study is to find out its effect on wearers' impression formated by combination of their body type with neutral tone clothing. The experimental materials developed for this study are a set of responses to stimulus in scales(7-point semantic). 45 pictures used as stimulus are, through computer simulation, manipulated to five wearers' body type and nine neutral tone wear. The subjects are 276(?) female undergraduate students in Kyung-nam area. Factors on wearers' impression suggested as responses to the stimulus consist of 5 different demensions (Tenderness, Cuteness, Attractiveness, Elegance, Intrepidity). The results of this study are as follows: first, combination of their body type with neutral tone wear significantly affects the formation of wearers' impression in the factor of Tenderness, Attractiveness, and Intrepidity (?); to the factor of Attractiveness, wearers' body type is rather more related than wearers' neutral tone wear is. Second, the harmony of their body type with neutral tone wear has a significant effect on wearers' impression in the factor of Cuteness. According to those results, the combination of wearers' body type with neutral tone wear has significant effects on the formation of wearers' impression.

The purpose of this study is to find out the effect of wearers' body types and clothes' neutral tone combination on impression formation. The experimental materials developed for this study are a set of stimulus and response scales(7-point semantic). The stimulus include 45 pictures manipulated by computer simulation in wears' body types and neutral tone variation. The subjects are 540 female undergraduate students in Gyeong-nam. The results of this study are as follows: Impression factor of the stimulus consisted of 5 different dimensions including tenderness, cuteness, attractiveness, elegance, intrepidity. Each impression of neutral tone combinations, along with wears' body types, had a significant effect on tenderness, attractiveness, and intrepidity. Especially, it had the strongest effects on attractiveness. Each impression of wearers' body types along with neutral tone combinations affected cuteness significantly. According to the fact above, wears' body types and neutral tone combination have a significant influence on the impression formation of wearers.

The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of three clothing cues(neutral tone, skirt width, and skirt length of dress) on the impressions of females. The experimental materials developed for this study were a set of stimuli and response scales. The stimuli were 20 color pictures manipulated with three clothing cues by drawing. The 7-point scale designed for visual evaluation of impression formation about females included 29 bipolar adjectives. The subjects were 240 undergraduate female students in Chinju city. The results of this study were as follows: By analyzing the impression of female figures by neutral tone, skirt width, and length, five factors including ability.activity, elegance, attractiveness, concentration of attention, and tenderness were identified. Among these factors, ability.activity and elegance were proved to be more important. Each impression of neutral tone with skirt width. length have significant effects on tenderness. Each impression of skirt width.length with neutral tone have significant effects on ability.activity.
