The apprenticeship training is given as a solution of the youth unemployment problem. The apprenticeship is a system that companies hire and instruct trainees and is implemented in various countries. In Korea, there is a Korean work-learning dual system which is managed by the government rather than the company itself. This Study analyzed Germany, Switzerland and Austria's apprenticeship training system and compared common factors of apprenticeship system, a trainer in company and cost-benefit analysis. The result of the study can be shown as follows. First, Germany operates practical training, meanwhile Switzerland and Austria provide a pre-education course before students enter the upper-secondary VET course. Second, Germany and Switzerland give a single type apprenticeship training, whereas Austria runs a modularization system, which enables students to specify their skills and improves clarity. Third, social partners as well as the government, states, companies/schools actively participate in apprenticeship. Fourth, there is a suitable trainer's qualification system in all countries. Finally, Germany and Austria's companies cause larger cost than benefit in apprenticeship. On the other hand, Switzerland gets larger net-benefit than cost. We can give implications to the Korean work-learning dual system based on this study.

The use of 16S rDNA is commonplace in the determination of prokaryotic species. However, it has limitations, and there are few studies at the genus level. We investigated conserved genes and metabolic pathways at the genus level in 28 strains of 13 genera of prokaryotes using the COG database (conserved genes) and MetaCyc database (metabolic pathways). Conserved genes compared to total genes (core genome) at the genus level ranged from 27.62%(Nostoc genus) to 71.76%(Spiribacter genus), with an average of 46.72%. The lower ratio of core genome meant the higher ratio of peculiar genes of a prokaryote, namely specific biological activities or the habitat may be varied. The ratio of common metabolic pathways at the genus level was higher than the ratio of core genomes, from 58.79% (Clostridium genus) to 96.31%(Mycoplasma genus), with an average of 75.86%. When compared among other genera, members of the same genus were positioned in the closest nodes to each other. Interestingly, Bacillus and Clostridium genera were positioned in closer nodes than those of the other genera. Archaebacterial genera were grouped together in the ortholog and metabolic pathway nodes in a phylogenetic tree. The genera Granulicella, Nostoc, and Bradyrhizobium of the Acidobacteria, Cyanobacteria, and Proteobacteria phyla, respectively, were grouped in an ortholog content tree. The results of this study can be used for (i) the identification of common genes and metabolic pathways at each phylogenetic level and (ii) the improvement of strains through horizontal gene transfer or site-directed mutagenesis.

The new wireless multimedia environment is coming because of the variety of an user requirement and a traffic increase which we can not accept in the IMT-2000 present systems. To offer the wireless multimedia service the world wireless communication company which included the ITU-R is developing the standard and technique of 4G systems. We analyzed the technique criteria of the 4G wireless communication system in this paper which is based on that of WiBro System. We referred to the technique criteria of the WiBro system and deduced an occupied frequency bandwidth which is the common element of the uplink and downlink system among main wireless communication technique criteria. And we verified this through the simulation. So we proposed the occupied frequency bandwidth for 4G wireless communication in this paper.

The purpose of this study (I) is to provide a new methodology for evaluating deterioration of buried pipe networks for the large-diameter old pipe improvement project currently performed by K-water. To develop a new assessment model for large-diameter pipe deterioration, this study has investigated the three representative methods for the pipe deterioration assessment such as evaluation methods 1995 and 2002, and the state evaluation method through literature reviews. The ten assessment factors were selected by considering large-diameter pipe characteristics as well as common factors with high priority in the three methods. Also, the weighting of the factors was estimated by a regression equation from experiments and analysis on domestic large-diameter pipelines and expert survey data. It is expected that the new assessment model developed by analysing the existing three models is more reliable to assess the deterioration of large-diameter pipe networks.

This paper proposes a bit manipulation accelerator (BMA) having application specific instructions, which efficiently supports scrambling, convolutional encoding, puncturing, and interleaving. Conventional DSPs cannot effectively perform bit manipulation functions since かey have multiply accumulate (MAC) oriented data paths and word-based functions. However, the proposed accelerator can efficiently process bit manipulation functions using parallel shift and Exclusive-OR (XOR) operations and bit jnsertion/extraction operations on multiple data. The proposed BMA has been modeled by VHDL and synthesized using the SEC $0.18\mu m$ standard cell library and the gate count of the BMA is only about 1,700 gates. Performance comparisons show that the number of clock cycles can be reduced about $40\%\sim80\%$ for scrambling, convolutional encoding and interleaving compared with existing DSPs.

This study was to analyze the gambling media system, one of important factors in horse racing industry. The purpose of this study is to show a vision in special field of horse racing industry, which is examined as comparative analysis on domestic and foreign gambling media system in terms of Large Technological Systems by Hughes(1987). This study approaches in two different viewpoints. First, this study is to conceptualize the subjects of study in Large Technological System. Second, this study is to show common factors and differences on domestic and foreign gambling media system through conceptualization. This paper shows vision and implications like faster decision-making by authority's direct operating, competitive content development, future policy in accordance with the international open-door policy and broadcasting convergence for the balanced development of horse industry through the gambling media system, analyzing reverse salient which is the barrier of domestic gambling media system from comparative study.

Mobile codes such as Java, Java-Script, ActiveX, and Script code are loaded into a client system first and then run without any notice to the client user. Executing code by this mechanism may cause various security problems such as flowing out system information, deleting or modifying files, and exhausting system resources. In this paper we propose an integrated authentication system to establish the uniform security countermeasure on various mobile codes. The system helps to solve to problems mentioned above. An integrated authentication system allows to load into an interpreter using ACL (Access Control List) which sets up an access authority to the executable contents and communicates with an interpreter using client/server model.

The purpose of this study is to examine satisfaction with liberal education at H university. In particular, the study is interested in students' and satisfaction with the courses of and , compulsory liberal studies. As a result of analysis, students were most satisfied with 'the percentage of liberal studies credits', being followed by 'the number of students per liberal studies class' and 'the systemicity of curriculum.' The survey also showed that, in and , students were highly satisfied with 'chance for communication with native faculty, improvement of ral expression skills' and 'improvement of orthography and grammar skill and so on. With regard to items whose satisfaction were low, the survey showed that there was the lack of connectivity between liberal studies and employment in 3 categories in common. Therefore, a direction toward enhancement of efficiency in connection with career center and the like was required in addition to establishing, developing and specifying employment category in liberal studies.

Italian industrial design influences strong impression worldwidely by their identity of free style, unique and artistic character, and get a very important status in aspect of the history of design and economy. Also, italy has many common feature with Korea in the geographic back- ground, character of history, culture, and nationality that is well-oriented by emotion, and it seems to be formed a valuable study. This study is based on the book 'Italian Design Through Generations' by kazuko Sato and tried to examine the character of Italian design by searching history, exam- ples, representative designers and enterprises of Italy, and to draw some lesson from it for establishiment identity of Korean design by reflecting to the origin character of Korea. Also, this study aims to inspect change of the civilization paradigm which is entering new aspect, and to suggest an ablity of our origin character and direction of the development.

The study figured out the preference factors which should be considered for investor on decision making of unsold apartment and analyzed by comparing the difference according to the type. Then, it investigated the preference factors through the previous studies to analyze the influence factor of decision making and demonstrated the effects through the PLS (Partial Least Squares) regression. In addition, it separated the target type to tenants and construction firms and carried out the survey for comparing the preference factors of investor type. The result of analysis found out that tenants emphasis on preference factors such as the internal factor (1.141), conditional relaxation (1.114), environment factor (1.107), social factor (1.048), external factor (1.030), educational environment factor (1.010) and etc. Then, construction firms emphasis on preference factors such as the social factor (1.401), environment factor (1.251), conditional relaxation (1.133) and etc. In addition, common preferences factors are the conditional relaxation, social factor, environment factor.
