실버타운의 사례(事例)를 통한 공용공간구성요소(公用空間構成要素)와 면적(面積)에 관한(關限) 연구(硏究) - 고층형 수도권 시설의 공용공간을 중심으로 - (A Case Study on the Spatial Organization in Public Areas of Silver Town)

  • Medical technology being developed, the increase of the aged population brings about many changes in financial standard, consciousness and lifestyle. And the increase of a nuclear family and a professional woman makes their family not to be able to support them anymore. Because aged people also don't want to rely on their family, aged people households are growing gradually. These causes make a house and a living environment of aged people to new social problems and these became elements to determine the living quality. In case of advanced nations a house considered of the physical character of aged people has been planned and they can live with various services in their houses and community that they are living without moving: But a hou! se for aged people is initial stage in Korea. And most facilities are poor and just for protection and accommodation. Although concerning a house for the aged according to revised the aged welfare law, companies are waiting to build because of problems of cognition and regulation. Therefore the plan considered of the character of the aged is being needed for the independent and comfortable living of the aged.

도심 복합상업시설 공용공간의 보행자 지원적 환경계획에 관한 연구 (A Study on Environmental Plan To Support Pedestrians in Public Space of Urban Mixed-use Commercial Facilities)

  • Recently, urban mixed-use commercial facilities have been required to raise a safe environment in public areas. So, this study focuses on analyze planning factors selected through the precedent research for Pedestrian safety and environment of urban mixed-use commercial facilities. The first purpose of this study is to analyse the applicative estimation of environmental plan to support pedestrians in public space of urban mixed-use commercial facilities in Seoul. And the second purpose of this study is to propose the directions of environmental planning for creating a pedestrian-friendly environment in public space of urban mixed-use commercial facilities. In order to accomplish this purpose, the environmental planning factors for supporting pedestrians and guidelines for disabled shown in the precedent studies are drawn. A survey of research subjects are 4 urban mixed-use commercial facilities located in downtown Seoul. And then a questionnaire survey is performed on architecture and interior design students to evaluate the importance. As a result of the study, the following conclusion are drawn. The pedestrian-friendly environment in urban mixed-use commercial facilities requires planning to strengthen accessibility, supporting and safety of public space.

  • 유비쿼더스 도시에 관한 각종 법률이 시행됨에 따라 유비쿼터스 기술과 산업을 융합하기 위한 기술이 부상하고 있다. 본 본문에서는 관련법 시행과 더불어 도시개발 사업이 진행됨에 따라 유비쿼터스 도시나 에코시티로 본격적으로 건설되는 상황에서 물리적 공간의 공용 사용과 물리적 시설의 기능 통합에 의한 유비쿼터스 기술을 융합시킬 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. 또한 제안한 방법을 이용하여 공동구와 통합 IP 풀의 적용 사례를 제시하여 이 분야의 체계화, 표준화, 정보화 기반을 마련할 수 있는 방안을 제시한다.

공용공간과 복리시설의 변화를 중심으로 한 프랑스 근대 도시주거의 변천에 관한 연구 (Transition of Modern Urban Housing in France Focused on Common Space and Community Facilities)

  • Since Mapo Apartment was introduced as a new urban housing type in the early sixties, apartment has been a typical urban housing in our country. In these days, according to various life-styles and new attitudes about the quality of life, apartment has been developed in various types like high rise residential complex and apartments with special themes. This study has been focused on the transition of modem urban housing in France. The origin of a word, apartment, has been defined and history of apartment in French urban life has been analyzed focusing on the common space and community facilities. Representative apartments in the 18th, 19th and 20th century were selected and comparatively analyzed. Especially in the 19th century, urban housing for working class had been a major concern among the communist and the bourgeoisie and has its own characteristics relative to each other. The characteristics shown in the apartment by the communist in France have been followed in the Korean apartments since 1960's, then the recent trends are rapidly changing in the housing market in Korea. Thus, the findings of this study can be very useful to understand the recent changes of diverse housing types in our society and also be very helpful to prospect our urban housing types in the future according to the changes of new lift styles.

노인전문요양시설 치매노인의 공용공간 이용실태 및 행동특성에 관한 사례연구 (A Case Study on the Space Use Pattern and Behavior of the Elderly with Dementia in Common Space of Nursing Home)

  • The purpose of this study was to clarify the space use pattern and the daily living activities of the elderly with dementia in the common space (living room) of nursing home. The subjects were 2 units(living room) of the nursing home. For this, researcher visited from June 20 to July 2 and collected data by observations of behavior of the elderly with dementia in common space(living room) and interviews with staff for the information about basic characteristics of the elderly with dementia and administration and operation of the facilities. The data were analyzed using the frequency and percentage. The results revealed as follows: first, the daily living activities of the elderly with dementia in common space tended to focus on self-concentration type and physical environment-interest type. Second, physical environmental -interest type. Second, physical environmental characteristics of common space affected space usage pattern of the elderly with dementia. And it was perceived like as living oriented space, social interaction space, facility space, staff oriented space. Conclusively it was suggested to plan dining space as semi-private space, day corner as semi-public space.

뉴욕시 공립학교에 나타난 공용공간의 특성에 관한 연구 -미첼/지아골라 건축사무소 계획안들을 중심으로- (An Study on the Characteristic of Common Space In New York City Public School - Focused on Mitchell/Giurgola Architects' Projects -)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristic of common space of public schools in New York City and how the common space can perform a decisive role in enriching public space not as simply connecting between programs but as common space for a wide range of uses for communities as well as students. This study illustrates with a general design guideline of SCA(School of Construction Authority) and how the rules help the common space as an interactive link between community and site/site and school building/building and outdoor space/outdoor space and lobby in the urban context. Since its founding in New York City, 1958, Mitchell/Giurgola Architects office has dedicated itself to working with institutions and public and private schools for 50 years and has been working with SCA for 10 public schools since 1990. Through five school examples by Mitchell Giurgola architects, the study describes how the office suggests public "place" interweaving inner public space and outer public space through lobbies. A result of this research can be proposed what improvements should be made on common space in domestic schools by analyzing of positive aspects of SCA schools.

대학생 선호도 분석 기반 대학 공용공간 리노베이션의 사후평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Post Evaluation for University Public Space Renovation based on Analysis of Students' preference)

  • Nowadays, many educational facilities are being renovated. However, due to the absence of a system for post renovation of educational spaces, users are less satisfied with the spaces after the renovation and there is a limit in establishing future directions for improving educational space renovation. From this point of view, this study was conducted to increase the users' satisfaction in renovation space planning of educational spaces and to establish a system for management after renovation. As a specific research method, the space preference of students was used to evaluate the space after renovation. By researching the opinions of the students who use the most educational space, not only the direction of the renovation plan of the future educational space can be given but also the user's opinion can be reflected in the spatial plan in detail. In terms of management of future educational spaces, this study can be used as a basic study for developing post evaluation indicators for renovation of educational facilities.

장애학생을 위한 대학캠퍼스 교육시설 내부 공용공간에 관한 조사 분석 (The Survey Analysis on the Interior Public Spaces of Education Facilities in University Campuses for Handicapped Students)

  • Many university campus facilities are recently remodeled to provide the substantial learning rights of handicapped students to embody the dignity and value as man by many campus authorities. This study aims to identify the interior public spaces between entrances and class rooms for handicapped students of S and D campuses. The summaries of this research are as follows. $\bullet$Since S campus was built long years ago before the related law for the handicapped person enacted, it was thought that the campus master plan to consider handicapped students' activations must be established and the campus educational facilities was remodelled by campus master plan. $\bullet$Since D campus was built lately after the related law for them enacted, it was thought that the officer who is responsible for campus facilities for handicapped students put in order it by repair plan every year. By remodelling every year steadily according to each campus master plan, all handicapped students must be guaranteed the same learning rights as normal men to remove obstacles as the upper mentioned imperfections in using exterior campus facilities.

노인요양시설 공용공간의 자연요소 도입에 관한 연구 - 매개, 교류, 휴식공간의 쾌적성 확보를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Introduction of Natural Elements in Public places of Nursing Homes - Focusing on ensuring the amenity of mediation, interaction, and rest places -)

  • As an aging society accelerates its pace for the present, providing a pleasant environment to nursing homes is such an environmental requirement with which elderly people could improve their quality of life and even acquire the effects of healing. As an optimal element of ensuring amenity, nature is a general hospital that heals human beings physically and mentally. In this vein, the investigator drew out the frame of analysis, namely emotional/healing/relating amenity, by means of theoretical examination of such natural elements as water, light, soil/stone, and plant. And on the basis of the drawn amenity, the investigator examined the application of natural elements to study subjects in order to analyze the ensured amenity. Study findings show that the existing nursing homes have ensured healing amenity sufficiently, but they are unsatisfactory in ensuring emotional and relating amenity. Based on interview survey, the investigator suggests that the introduction of natural elements into nursing homes such public space as mediation space, interaction space, and rest places to ensure emotional/healing/relating amenity must be ideally equipped with the formation of outdoor forest in which water, light, soil/stone, and plant get joined together, rather than Introducing a single element respectively. In addition, the plan of construction of nursing homes must take residing elderly people's emotional/healing/relating amenity into account on the basis of physical amenity.

철거 교량을 활용한 도시시설물의 안전성 평가 기법 개발 (Safety Evaluation Development of Urban Structures Using Removal Bridge)

  • 현재 국내에서 사용하고 있는 교량구조물의 성능평가방법으로는 크게 공용하중에 대한 내하율을 구하기 위하여 허용응력개념이나 강도설계 개념을 적용한 내하력 평가 기법이 사용되고 있다. 그러나 위의 방법들은 일반적으로 공용연수의 경과에 따른 재료 및 구조적 성능의 손실과 여러 가지 하중 및 환경적 요인들의 불확실성으로 인하여 발생하는 손상 및 열화를 반영하기 어렵다. 그리고 제원 및 재료물성치의 불확실성에 대한 기존 설계 자료의 DB 부족으로 기존의 평가방법에서는 이러한 시간의 경과에 따른 성능저하를 정확히 산정할 수 없어 이론상의 값과 실제 구조물과의 차이로 인한 불확실성이 존재 한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 공용년수 경과에 따른 시설물의 재료 구조적인 성능 및 거동분석 수행, 신뢰성 해석 수행을 바탕으로 교량 안전성 평가의 합리성 및 현실성을 제고하며, 구조 신뢰성 해석을 수행함으로써 실제 구조물의 강도 한계상태에 대한 파괴확률을 산정하고 그에 대응하는 위험도를 평가함으로써 안전성 검토를 수행하였다. 본 실험을 통해 1. 재료 강도, 부재 제원, 긴장력, 작용하중 등에 있어 설계 시 가정과 실제 사용 환경 사이의 변동성이 존재한다는 것을 알 수 있었으며, 2. 연구 수행 결과 일반 정밀진단 및 해석에서는 얻을 수 없는 다양하고 중요한 결과를 산출할 수 있었으며 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 개선된 성능평가 기법이 제안 될 수 있음을 알 수 있었다.
