A Study on the Connection Model for Attribute Code of Earned Value Management System (정보화된 EVMS 구축을 위한 속성코드 연계모형 구성 연구)

  • This study suggests an attribute code system for earned value management system (EVMS). The attribute code system can be used for integrating various EYM data from construction schedule and cost. If the suggested attribute code is used in EVM, sorting and typical classifying of EVM data is possible in the computerized system. Those functions are an effective management tool for construction manager comparing with other EVM tools.

  • 일반적으로 생활용수 및 공업용수의 경우 대부분 주수원으로 댐 및 저수지 등을 통해 용수공급이 이루어지며, 일부 지역에서는 하천에서 직접 취수가 이루어지고 있다. 그러나 하천을 수원으로 사용하고 있는 대부분의 지점에서는 계측이 이루어지고 있지 않아 정확한 양을 파악하기 어려운 실정이다. 이러한 현상이 지속 될 경우, 하천 관리를 위한 정확한 가용수량 파악을 통한 수자원 계획 수립 및 수문학적 가뭄정보 생산시 어려움이 수반된다. 수문학적 가뭄 정보를 보다 정확하게 제공하기 위해서는 유역 내 물순환체계 구축, 수문기상 빅데이터 활용, 정확한 유역유출모델링 등 다양한 요소들이 통합적으로 연계되는 것이 무엇보다도 중요하다. 더불어 유역 내 전반적인 물수급 체계를 조사 및 분석하고, 이를 기반으로 모델을 구축하는 것이 선결되어야 할 것으로 판단된다. 이러한 점에서 본 연구에서는 실적기반 가뭄 모니터링을 위한 시공간적으로 상세화 된 물순환 모형을 개발하는데 목적이 있으며, 이를 통해 준실시간으로 하천을 중심으로 가뭄 모니터링이 필요한 지점에 유량을 제공할 수 있는 체계를 개발하고자 한다. 즉, 가뭄에 대해 선제적으로 대응하기 위해서 모니터링 현황, 분석 및 전망 그리고 가뭄 발생지역을 보다 신뢰성 있게 판단하기 위한 가뭄정보 기술정보 제공이 가능한 모형이라 할 수 있다. 이를 통해 궁극적으로 댐, 저수지, 하천 등 다양한 수원을 가지는 유역 내 가용수자원량을 보다 정확하게 판단하여, 다양한 수자원 계획 수립시 기초자료로 활용 될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • The information of works performed by labors can be used for analyzing project status related to schedule, cost and productivity, etc. The purpose of this research is to develop a computer-based system by the application of PDA and barcode technology in order to measue and monitor the amount of workforce resources, works done and productivity. It is anticipated that the effective use of the devepoped system would be able to effectively assist the schedule planning and management for present and prospective construction projects.

  • Recently, in Korea, a few construction companies have been tried to develop a management system, which is able to integrate schedule and cost. In spite of these attempts, however, advanced management techniques can be hardly applied under the BoQ based management system. In order to improve these problems, many studies have been peformed, but yet could not overcome practical limitations. Besides, the application of historical data is below the level since it is so difficult to accumulate and feed-back historical data under the unique character of construction industry. Consequently, lots of time and effort have being wasted to establish control criteria. The newly generated Information is not systematically managed as well. Therefore, this study suggests Integrated Construction Management System complemented the existing practical problems.

  • The current construction industry mainly uses paper-based construction documents which are produced during the whole life cycle. The paper-based information hinders to reuse the construction information, due to the inefficiency to exchange and share the construction information between designers and constructors. To overcome these problems, construction CALS/EC (Continuous Acquisition and Life Cycle Support/Electronic Commerce) has been proposed by the government. It supports efficient reusing, sharing and exchanging the construction information using digitalized drawings and documentations. This study intends to show the future applying methodologies of using the standardized key technologies in the construction CALS/EC based on the case study of Korea and several countries.

  • When managers predict exact construction cost at early stage and design phase, they can reduce construction cost in a more efficient way than to predict at construction stage. But present of public construction cost estimation and management almost after the construction documents design phase. Therefore, construction cost management in the early stage and schematic design phase to generally use approximate estimating is not correct. Accordingly, this study analyze problem of current cost estimating method and a concrete cost plans make using case information of actual cost to analyze in schematic design phase. Possible to check going on the suitable design, this study conducts the preliminary research for the development of cost estimating model.

  • With the size of construction projects getting larger and more complex, the amount of information is increased exponentially. Although there are a lot of construction companies that try to accumulate as-built information from construction sites. it has not been quite satisfactory. This is due to the lack of task information framework that can measure project performance and collect as-built information. Therefore the objective of the paper is to identify the information that can be derived from daily reports and to suggest a unit task information framework to accumulate as-built information.

  • As a project progresses, it is well known that construction manager has to define the contingency for the expected project cost, which is used as a buffer for uncertainty. In this study, we mention uncertainty as the amount of likelihood that is difficult or impossible to predict project cost. From the completed work package, we obtain the true cost value, and this information is technically good data for estimating the realistic contingency of work packages to be accomplished. Based upon this historical information, construction manager recomputes the contingency for the remaining works. Conditional probability theory is often useful for re-estimating one of the remaining project progress as the true cost of the completed works can be different from the planned cost. As a project is progressing, true value is really important to predict the realistic project budget and to decrease the uncertainty. In this study, we gave applied conditional probability theory to estimating project contingency supposing a project that consists of fire work packages, provide the fundamental framework for setting and controlling project contingency.

  • In this study has been suggested on the basis of the Court of Audit's report on trade insurance issues presented and the Export Credit Guarantee Insurance Improvement. First, the improvement insurance underwriting standards and come up with measures to improve the soundness of the insurance fund trading. In order to do this, (1) warranty for a lower credit companies strengthen underwriting standards, (2) raise short-term solvency and the accuracy of financial statements Review criteria Borrowings calculated based, (3) trustee companies Warranty Terms for improvement, (4) for closure of businesses quickly take measures of bond conservation measures. Second, through improved risk management measures to strengthen risk management for export credit guarantees are to be provided.

  • Expressways play pivotal roles in cargo transportation because of their superior accessibility and mobility compared to rail and air. On the other hand, there is a limit to the accurate calculation of cargo transportation performance using existing highways owing to the mixture of vehicle types and difficulty in identifying cargo loads of individual cargo vehicles. This paper presents an algorithm for calculating more reliable cargo transportation performance using big data. The traffic performance (veh·km/day) was derived using the data collected from Toll Collecting System. The average tolerance weight for each vehicle type and the cargo load unit (ton/unit) considering it was calculated using vehicle specification information data and high-speed and low-speed axis data. This study calculated the cargo transportation performance by section and type using various online integrated highway data and presented a method for calculating the transportation performance by linking open business offices and private highways.
