Usage of underground space is increasing at metropolitan city. More than 90% of flood damages have occurred at downtown of metropolitan cities. In order to prevent and/or minimize the flood-induced damage, an underground rainwater detention cavern was proposed to be built underneath existing structures. As for underground caverns to be built for flood control, multi-caverns will be mostly adopted rather than one giant cavern because of stability problem. Because of the stress concentration occurring in the pillars between two adjacent caverns, the pillar-stability is the Achilles' heel in multi-caverns. So, a new pillar-reinforcing technology was proposed in this paper for securing the pillar-stability. In the new pillar-reinforcing technology, reinforced materials which are composed of a steel bar and PC strands are used by applying pressurized grouting, and then, by applying the pre-stress to the PC strands and anchor body. Therefore, this new technology has an advantage of utilizing most of the strength that the in-situ ground can exert, and not much relying on the pre-cast concrete structure. The main effect of the pressurized grouting is the increase of the ground strength and more importantly the decrease of stress concentration in the pillar; that of the pre-stress is the increase of the ground strength due to the increase of the internal pressure. In this paper, ground reinforcing effects were verified the stress change in pillar is obtained by numerical analysis at each construction stage. From these results, the effects of pressurized grouting and pre-stress are verified.

모든 공동주택에 적용되고 있는 기존의 피난시설은 고층부분에서 사용의 제한, 세대 간 보안 및 사용자의 제약 등으로 실제 현장에 적용하여 사용하는 되는 많은 문제점을 내포하고 있다. 또한, 이와 관련하여 공동주택의 용도 특성상 조기 피난이 이루어지지 못하는 경우가 빈번하여 화재 때문에 세대 내 출구가 폐쇄되고 재해약자가 사용하는데 어려우며, 화염과 복사열로부터 안전을 해결하기에는 현재 공동주택에서 보편적으로 설치되어있는 완강기로 이러한 문제를 해결하기에는 매우 미흡한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결할 피난방법이 적용된 피난시설을 제안하고자 한다. "피난대피시설"은 공동주택 발코니 또는 외벽에 콤팩트(compact)하게 접혀 있다가 화재 시 수동 또는 감지기와 연동해 쉽게 작동되어 대피공간 용도와 유사시 자력으로 피난층까지 피난할 수 있는 구조이다. 또한, 화재실과 접하는 부분은 $1,200^{\circ}C$의 복사열을 차단할 수 있는 단열소재로 구성되며 1차적으로는 화재 장소에서 외부 공간으로 일탈한 후에 2차적으로 아래층으로 사다리를 이용하여 피난할 수 있게 되어 있다. 본 연구개발의 주안점은 화재 시화염과 복사열로부터 공간 일탈을 하여 재실자를 보호할 수 있는 대피공간의 개념과 피난시설에서 피난층으로 피난할 수 있는 적극적인 피난방법을 접목한 것이 피난시설 개발의 핵심이다.

According to the Korean Library Act, a regional representative library is fully responsible for the integrated management of all collections held by local libraries. It intends to resolve space problem for collections and to prepare room for new materials in local libraries. Under the Act, a regional representative library should make a plan for a regional repository library to accomodate overflows from local library collections as soon as possible. The purpose of this study is to figure out the meanings of 'regional repository library' as a cooperative storage facility of local library collections, and to suggest the proper solutions for developing a regional repository library with case of Busan metropolitan city. To the end, this study (1) examined the extent of space shortage in local libraries of Busan, (2) assessed the needs of both local libraries and library users for a regional repository library, and finally, (3) suggested the detailed procedure and methods for establishing and managing a regional repository library in Busan metropolitan city.

The construction of underground structures such as oil and food storage caverns are recently increasing in our country. The stability of those underground caverns are greatly influenced by their shape and size. In this study therefore, the effect that the shape of an underground cavern have on its stability were analyzed in terms of safety factor. To this end, caverns with 5 different shapes were investigated and sensitivity analyses were performed based on rock class, overburden, and lateral earth pressure coefficient. The proper amount of shotcrete and rockbolt as supports of a cavern was also assumed based on the shape and site of the cavern and rock conditions. This study is expected to be helpful in designing and evaluating the stability of caverns in future.

유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경은 오늘날 인간생활 행태의 변화뿐만 아니라 미래건축 공간에도 큰 변화를 가져오고 있다. 그 중에서도 인간의 가장 기본적인 생활환경인 주거 공간의 변화는 빠르게 이루어지고 있다. 지능형 홈, 사이버 아파트 등의 새로운 미래주거 공간이 나타나고 홈네트워크 시스템을 이용한 다양한 유비쿼터스 서비스가 적용되고 있다. 그러나 거주자를 위한 유비쿼터스 서비스가 공간에 적절히 적용되지 않는 사례가 발생하고 있고 수요자 요구와 관련 없이 서비스가 설계되어 있어 효율성이 떨어지는 문제점도 나타나고 있다. 이는 현재의 홈네트워크가 IT 업계가 제공한 솔루션과 기기 중심으로 서비스가 개발되고, 공급자 위주의 기능의 편리성을 위주로 제공되고 있기 때문이며, 주택을 잘 알고 있는 건설인과의 협업이나 최종 사용자의 기호가 고려되고 있지 않기 때문이다. 더욱 중요한 것은 초기 디자인 단계에서 이러한 문제점들이 수용되고 있지 못하고 공간 디자인과 서비스 개발이 유리화되어 선 시공 후, 서비스를 끼워 맞추기식으로 계획하고 있기 때문이다. 본 연구는 서비스 개발의 관점에서 접근하여 공동 주택의 초기 디자인 단계에서 수요자가 원하는 서비스를 공간에 적용하여 부합되는지를 살펴보고, 이에 따라 적절한 미래공간을 디자인 할 수 있도록 하기 위하여 공간정보 데이터베이스를 기반으로 한 공동주택 유비쿼터스 서비스 개발을 위한 기초 연구에 그 목적을 둔다.

광범위하게 분산되어 있는 작업그룹의 여러 사용자들이 공동의 프로젝트에 관하여 효율적으로 협력작업을 하기 위해서는 상호간의 긴밀한 정보의 교류와 공유가 필수적이다. 그리고 사용자들은 서로 공유한 정보를 잘 관리하여 이후에도 쉽게 재사용할 수 있도록 하드웨어나 소프트웨어 독립적인 환경에서 작업하기를 원하며, WWW와 데이터베이스는 이러한 유형의 작업모델을 지원하기 위한 기반환경을 갖추고 있다. 공유작업공간(shared workspace)은 공동작업(collaborative work)을 지원하기 위한 기반환경으로서 그룹 구성원들이 접근가능하고 공유된 정보를 저장하는 저장소이다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 데이터베이스와 웹 기반기술을 응용하여 중앙집중방식의 공동작업 기능을 지원하는 공유작업공간을 설계하고 구현하였다.

This study aims at exploring the restoration of local community based on apartment residential space through the questionnaire survey of residents and community movement organizers. Apartment residential space has a serious limit to the restoration of local community due to the physical feature of closing compartment. But, at the same time, it has many communal elements as well. The survey shows that residential community movements are developing beyond compensatory community movement, although it is yet to be an ideal type of local community in a nonnative sense. Generally, apartment women's associations, together with the representative commission of residents, play a key role in residential community movements. Particularly, community movement activities have a positive effect on improving the neighborhood relationship. Residents themselves think so as well. This study implies the value and possibility of apartment residential movement as an alternative strategy against contemporary urban problems.

인터넷과 전자상거래 시스템 기술의 발달로 인해서, 현재 인터넷상에서 많은 전자상점이 개설되고 있다. 이들 상점 중의 상당한 수는 소형으로서, 대형 전자상점과는 달리 자금력, 기술력이 열세하고, 판매상품의 종류가 제한적이며, 방문자의 수가 소수인 점등으로 인해서 운영상 많은 어려움을 겪고 있다. 따라서, 소형 전자상점의 판매 증대를 위해서 이들 상점의 개별적 운영과는 별도로 이들의 상품을 모아서 공동으로 판매하는 공간이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 SOHO형 전자상점들의 공동 판매 공간인 공동 전자상점의 모델을 제안하고, 이를 기반으로 전자상점 플랫폼을 설계 및 구현하였다. 우리의 플랫폼은 기존 백화점식 쇼핑몰이나 메타 쇼핑몰과 비교해서, 소형 전자상점들과 공동 전자상점간의 자료 교환을 최소화함으로써, 기존 소형 전자상점이 쉽게 공동 전자상점의 참여할 수 있는 점이 장점이다.

This paper studies the activities characteristics of the elderly aged 60-75 years old who can take care of themselves in the community public space, and puts forward the design principles of the community public space in the aging society. Using the methodology of experience design, through naturalistic observation, questionnaires, interviews and shadowing, the spatial and temporal characteristics of daily activities of the elderly are analyzed. In the community public space, the behavior of the elderly is essentially a social activity to get more attention and communication. This determines the needs, time, frequency and duration of activities of the elderly in community public space. In the community public space, the behavior of the elderly has the characteristics of long-term and regularity, and its behavior changes slightly with the space, the objective factors that affect the elderly are gender, age and climate. The subjective factors are lifestyle, family members and income level.

IPIace 시스템은 등록된 사용자 사이에서 효과적인 공동작업을 지원하는 웹 기반 협업지원 시스템이다. 현재 개발된 IPIace 시스템은 자주 일어나는 공동작업을 등록된 사용자가 생성한 팀작업장을 통해서만 지원하고 있으므로 시스템에 등록하지 않은 사용자와의 효율적인 자료공유는 제공하지 못하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해서 IPIace 시스템에 등록하지 않은 사용자에게 효과적인 공동작업을 지원하기 위한 공개 작업공간인 OpenSpace에 대하여 기술한다. IPIace 시스템에 제안된 OpenSpace 를 제공함으로써 기존의 IPIace 사용자와 등록되지 않은 사용자 사이의 자유롭고 편리한 자료공유 기능을 제공한 수 있다. OpenSpace는 플랫폼 독립적인 JSP 및 EJB 컴포넌트 기술을 이용하여 개발되었다.
