공공안전 환경을 위한 사물인터넷 통신망 기술 개요

  • 사물 인터넷(IoT: Internet of Things)은 세상의 모든 사물들을 인터넷과 상호 연결하여 사람과 사물, 사물과 사물 간에 언제 어디서나 상호 소통할 수 있도록 하는 기술이다. 사물 인터넷의 네트웍 기술은 통신 인프라 (Infrastructure) 가 없는 환경에서 이기종 다양한 디바이스를 연결하는 기술로서 재난복구 및 구조와 같은 공공안전 분야에도 적용할 수 있는 애드 혹(ad-hoc) 형태의 네트웍 기능을 제공한다. 특히, 사물 인터넷의 특성상 저사양(low power) 기기들의 사용이 증가하고 있기 때문에 여러 표준화 단체에서 사물 인터넷 특성에 따른 요구사항을 지원하기 위한 표준화 활동을 활발하게 진행중이다. 본 고에서는 급변하는 통신 기술 환경에서 공공안전 분야에 적용할 수 있는 사물 인터넷 통신망을 이루기 위해 필요한 수많은 기술 중에서 주목할 필요가 있는 RPL과 TSCH 기술에 대해 소개하고자 한다.

A Study on the Determinants of Perceived Social Usefulness and Continuous Use Intention of the Internet of things in the Public Sector (공공부문 사물인터넷의 지각된 사회적 유용성 및 지속사용의도 향상을 위한 결정요인에 관한 연구)

  • This study is to find the key factors of the Internet of Things for development in public sector. In previous studies, it is said that Internet of Things can work digital system without human operation and gives a lot of outputs(information) users. Generally, people are a subject of operating digital system in traditional way, while people are an object on the internet of things. In other words, it is possible to work digital system with only networking from things to things. After all, it is reported that these advantages of the Internet of Things make possible to reduce social costs significantly in public sector. However, despite the strengths of the Internet of Things, there is a specific user acceptance of the technology factor for the Internet of Things rarely. It means that developing of the Internet of Things only focuses on the final purpose. If the focus on development meet this purpose, the user is ignored for the specific reason that using a technique. As a result of this, many users gradually decrease the continuous using of the Internet of Things. Thus, in this study, we need to find what critical factors should reflect to the Internet of Things in public sector. To find this result, there is no choice to use Technology Acceptance Model(TAM). Many researchers have proved that Technology Acceptance Model is valid through the four process in model introduction, confirmation, expansion and refinement from 1986 to 2003. The results of this study showed that the result explanatory power of Internet of Things in public sector is the most important factor affecting only perceived social usefulness and ease of use. Finally, it can be seen that the user has a positive attitude toward use, which has a positive effect on the intention to use continuously. The implications of this study are summarized as follows: When the public Internet of Things service is provided, it means that the user can easily understand the result, and when the person and the object communicate the result to each other, they should be able to communicate with each other. This means that a lot of user effort is needed to understand the outcome of the public Internet of Things being provided.

  • The Internet of Things (IoT) provides data convergence and sharing functions, and IoT technology is the most fundamental core technology in creating new services by convergence of various cutting-edge technologies. However, there are different classification systems for the Internet of Things, and when it is limited to the domestic public sector, it is difficult to properly grasp the current status of which devices are installed and operated with what share, and systematic data or research The results are very difficult to find. Therefore, in this study, the relevance of the classification system for IoT devices was analyzed according to reality based on sales, shipments, and growth rate, and based on this, the actual share of IoT devices among domestic public institutions was analyzed in detail. The derived detailed analysis results are expected to be efficiently utilized in the process of selecting IoT devices for research and analysis to advance information protection technology such as responding to malicious code attacks on IoT devices, analyzing incidents, and strengthening security vulnerabilities.

  • 우리 사회는 산업혁명, 정보화혁명을 거쳐, 모든 것이 인터넷과 연결되는 사물인터넷(Internet of Things) 기반의 초연결 혁명 진행 중에 있다. 이에 정부는 사물인터넷을 공공, 산업, 개인 등 국가사회 현안 해결의 수단으로 활용하여 산업경쟁력 강화 및 창의적 IoT 서비스 제품 창출과 중소 중견 전문기업 육성을 시도하고 있다. 이에 본고에서는 사물인터넷의 핵심인 단말 플랫폼기술에 대한 글로벌 기업 및 프로젝트들의 하드웨어와 소프트웨어 융합기반 사업화 동향을 분석하고, 국내 단말 플랫폼의 개발현황 및 문제점을 살펴본다. 뿐만 아니라, 향후 사물인터넷의 단말 플랫폼 경쟁력 확보 및 생태계 구축을 위한 단말 소프트웨어 플랫폼과 하드웨어 플랫폼 구축방법으로 개발자 지향 개방형 SW-SoC(System on Chip) 융합을 통한 인프라 구축방안 제시하고, 사물인터넷 서비스의 확산을 위해 산 학 연 협력기반 기술개발 로드맵 방향을 제시한다.

  • This paper is analyzing the situation of the Internet of Things Industry and draw the policy implications to promote Internet of Things industry. Major IT companies as Apple, Google, IBM, Sony, and Samsung have developed various smart glass and smart watch as a Iot products. In order to promote Iot Industry, we should take the build up of eco system between IT makers and the various contents provider, protection of personal information and data, development of killer applications and business models, and the conversion from IPv4 to IPv6 as a next internet address infra, build up of international standard platform on IoT.

  • Internet of Things is a future technology driven the fourth industrial revolution. Internet of Things is expected to bring revolutionary changes in all sectors of society thanks to the data and service that is generated by connecting objects to human and other objects. However, while many different cases of the Internet of Things have introduced considerable innovations to various industries and public sectors, little cases and research have been devoted to library service innovation. The purpose of this study is to provide a review of relevant literature relating to the Internet of Things and Libraries and to briefly explain what the Internet of Things is and how it might be useful for libraries. It also analyze S university library case for Internet of Things services and suggest further steps and way for developing IoT services in university libraries.

  • In recent years, many people are living in a space limited by rapid global industrial development and economic growth, and rapid urbanization is underway, with the global urban population estimated to be more than 70 percent in 2050. Due to rapid urbanization, government-led smart city models are being developed and introduced to solve various urban problems such as disaster safety, air pollution, water pollution, energy shortage, disease, crime and transportation. However, since ICT technology of public housing is being developed as a type of social overhead capital project, it is necessary to develop micro-smart city projects that residents can feel by developing services such as public safety, living environment, living welfare, and energy management for public housing residents. Therefore, in this paper, the smart platform model of public housing for smart city in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution is planned and presented.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the issues that can be expected in the smart intelligent information society led by artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things, and how to resolve the issues in terms of PR.The results were as follows. First, there are three major issues that can be expected Second, in order to resolve the issue, it is necessary to prepare and carry out a public interest campaign to create and participate in a new paradigm for the alienated public. Third, welfare technology can be considered as an alternative to the issues.

  • 최근 사물인터넷(IoT) 시장의 급격한 성장과 함께 적용 서비스 분야도 급격하게 늘어나고 있다. 다양한 객체와 인터넷의 연결로 무수히 많은 서비스가 제공되고 있으며 기업 및 공공기관은 이를 활용하여 다양한 콘텐츠를 개발하고 있다. 하지만 IoT인프라의 급격한 범위 확장 및 활용 표준화가 이루어지지 않았고, 이에 따라 인프라 프로세스의 혼란을 야기할 수 있다. 이는 내 외부적인 위협의 증가로 이어진다. 따라서 사물인터넷 기술이 현재 시장보다 활성화 되고 실 서비스 적용 분야가 증가할수록 제도적, 물리적, 기술적인 취약점이 원인이 되어 공격자는 사물인터넷 단말기 내부에 악성코드를 심어 원격 통제를 하거나, 일정 무선 주파수를 동기화 하여 스니핑이나 스푸핑 등의 공격으로 데이터 변조의 위협이 존재한다. 본 연구를 통해 콘텐츠 정보제공의 주 목적으로 활용되는 미들웨어장비인 Bluetooth 4.0 기반의 저전력 비콘(Beacon)의 기능을 활용한 서비스에서 발생될 수 있는 내재적 위협으로부터 정책적, 기술적, 물리적 통제 및 대응 방안을 제안하였다.

A study on prioritizing the application areas for business development of IoT(Internet of Things) (사물 인터넷의 사업화 영역에 대한 우선순위 선정에 관한 연구)

  • This study aims at identifying and prioritizing the application areas for business development of IoT(Internet of Things). In specific, we collected the opinions of the experts on IoT in Korea through the survey based on pairwise comparison, and then we analyzed them using AHP(analytic hierarchy process). As a result, we found that 'Public Safety & Security', 'Automotive & Transportation', and 'Utility & Energy' are the most promising area in realizing IoT-related businesses. Also, we found that the experts had different views according to the positions of their industry in IoT value chain. The analysis showed that the device industry prioritizes 'Public Safety & Security', whereas the network industry does 'Automotive & Transportation'. The experts from the service industry were found to regard 'Utility and Energy' as the most promising commercialization area of IoT.
