최근 국내에서는 경제적 여유와 함께 웰빙에 관심이 높아지며 도심생활에서 벗어나 수변공간, 해양레저활동 등이 주목받고 있다. 이에 따라 수상에서의 다양한 활동을 수용할 수 있는 플로팅 건축물에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있으며, 플로팅 건축물을 이용한 다양한 용도와 기능의 건축물들이 수상에 설치되고 있다. 플로팅 건축물 역시 사람들의 생활을 위한 공간으로 육상의 일반 건축물과 같이 쾌적한 거주환경 제공을 위하여 다양한 설비들이 설치되고 있다. 하지만 플로팅 건축물은 수상에 위치한 입지적 특성으로 인하여 육상의 일반건축물과 다른 환경적 요인을 고려한 설비시스템 도입이 필요함에도 불구하고 수상환경을 고려한 설비시스템의 설치는 이루어지지 않고 있다. 특히, 실내의 쾌적한 거주환경 유지를 위하여 중요한 요소인 냉난방설비는 충분한 성능을 발휘하기 위하여 시스템설계 전 충분한 환경적 요소를 고려한 부하산정이 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 플로팅 건축물의 입지적 특성을 고려하여 냉난방 시스템 설계 시 일반건축물에 적용되는 부하산정 요소 외 해수온도, 해수면 반사일사 및 창면적비를 부하산정 요소로 도입하고 각 요소별 특성을 고찰하여 플로팅 건축물 냉난방부하에 어떤 영향을 미치는지에 대하여 종합적으로 고찰하였다.

세계 유일 책을 위한 도시이자 생태·예술이 어우러진 파주출판도시를 통해 우리가 살고 있는 도시의 의미와 가치를 돌아보고 새로운 미래를 그리는 도시·건축 다큐멘터리가 4월 21일 개봉한다. 제46회 서울독립영화제, 제12회 서울국제건축영화제 공식 초청작이자 제12회 DMZ국제다큐멘터리영화제 예술공헌상을 수상한 영화 <위대한 계약: 파주, 책, 도시> 얘기다. 이 다큐를 만든 기린그림의 김종신·정다운 감독은 앞서 <한국 현대건축의 오늘(2016)>, <한국 현대건축의 오늘: 집(2017)>과 <이타미 준의 바다(2019)>를 통해 건축과 삶, 예술혼을 영상으로 복원해 내며 관객들의 눈길을 사로잡은 바 있다. <이타미 준의 바다>는 프리 프로덕션부터 개봉까지 꼬박 8년이 걸린 작품이다. 경기 파주시 문발동 소재 국가문화산업단지인 파주출판도시는 민주화 이전 출판이 탄압받던 시절부터 출판인들이 꿈꾸던 책을 위한 도시다. 출판사들과 더불어 새로운 철학과 가치를 담은 이상적 공간, 즉 새로운 도시를 그리던 건축사들이 '위대한 계약'을 체결하면서 실현됐다. 아무도 관심 갖지 않았던 파주의 늪지는 특색 있는 건축물과 만나 심학산과 한강의 탁월한 낙조 경관을 자랑하며 세계에서 유일한, 책을 위한 생태도시가 됐다. 편집·인쇄·유통 출판 관련 인프라를 집약한 도시는 이후 영화제작사를 비롯한 영상 관련 업체들과 IT 업체들이 입주하며 종합문화예술 도시로 탈바꿈한다. 2019년 파주출판도시 기획 30주년을 기념해 도시의 발자취를 담기 위해 시작된 영화는 과거와 현재라는 두 개의 큰 축에서 진행되며 찬란한 도시의 여정을 그린다. 그러면서 건축을 넘어 우리가 살고 있는 도시를 생각해 보게 만든다.

Diseases of cranial nerves are one of the most difficult illnesses to be treated because of the fact that diseases are hardly detected in early stage. As the nation is becoming an aging society, there is an increasing number of the patient who has diseases of cranial nerves. So a lot of healthcare facilities is in the middle of having a preparation for medical center providing adequate medical service to the patient suffering from diseases of cranial nerves. However, it is extremely difficult to define what the specialized medical center is. It is necessary to give an architectural suggestion of the specialized medical center in response to the proposal of healthcare system for successful operation. Therefore this study aims to suggest the composition and the area of the medical center on neuroscience.

The medicine is used for diagnosis, treatment or prevention of disease and consequently has an important influence upon human life and health. Its effectiveness and safety must be guaranteed. In order to achieve the facility that meets GMP, KFDA has provided standards for quality assurance of the manufacture, examination and tests of medical supplies. The result of this study were as follows : the GMP facilities are divided into work, lab/test and storage spaces, and the systematic corridor. The clean rooms are mainly installed in work and lab/test spaces, and maintain class 10,000 in average. The individual space for the procedures that requires class 100 is not provided as a separate division. Instead, they are performed in the clean bench of the laboratory.

Space transformation of hospital architecture happens more rapidly than other types such as school and office buildings. This requirement is caused by medical demand, service transformation, technical development and equipment changes. Grand scale extension and rapid change in hospital architecture affects whole planning; therefore, it is important to design in the macro perspective such like Life Cycle. Grand scale extension is difficult process to rebuild growth and transfer of hospital architecture and to adapt to the future change. That's why simple planning gives limits to some departments in a short-term and brings another reform such as more extension or interior renovation in a long-term. This study surveys various space transformation and grand scale extension of EB hospital extended recently, and it is to find planning condition in extension.

서울 용산구 한강대로에 위치한 529제곱미터 규모의 2층 사옥 '유신재'. 일제강점기 시절 건설된 벽돌(연와조)과 철근콘크리트조, 목조 트러스 지붕 구조의 이 낡은 건물은 준공(1926.06.23)된 지 90년이 훌쩍 넘었으며, 건물주인 (주)유신이 역삼동으로 사옥을 이전한 후 30여 년간 문서보관소로 사용돼왔다. 그런 이 건물이 지난 4월부터 8월까지의 공사를 거쳐 유신건축(주.유신건축 종합건축사사무소)의 사옥으로 새롭게 태어났다. 근 100여 년의 흔적을 그대로 간직한 건물의 리모델링 설계자는 유신건축의 김지덕 건축사(부(父))·김우영 건축사(자(子)/ 영국왕립건축사) 부자(父子)다. 지난 9월 24일, 유신재에서 함께 일하고 있는 두 부자 건축사의 이야기를 직접 들어보았다.

The term 'Media Facade' is an integrated information-Conveying Medium that turns the inside and outside of a building into a new meaningful space by converging with design, motion pictures and IT technology. Media Facade is not only associated with the exterior of a building but presents new experiences th the visitors in all available spaces where screens can be installed. Moreover, interactive Media Facade has expanded the former one-way communication to a two-way one bringing more sense of realism for the spectators and increasing attraction and participation. In this study, I explored the aesthetic characteristics of interactive Media Facade and analyzed pertinent cases; and based on domestic and overseas cases, I contemplated upon the future objectives of interactive Media Facade in Korea.

With the change of funeral customs, funeral facilities in general hospitals are prevailing in recent years. In order to cope with this change, many funeral facilities are built in hospitals in significant sizes. Architectural considerations for funeral facilities are to be developed. In this research, based on the case analysis of the funeral facilities which are in operation, characteristics of spatial composition in those facilities are analyzed from the viewpoint of users and the result is organized in to a set of proposed guidelines for their space design. The analysis includes definition and classification of functional space, plan type, circulation and spatial atmosphere.

The most recent study of the hospital design indicates that the researchers focus more on creating the healing environment within the hospital facility. Furthermore, it demonstrates the environment of individual living space for patients such as hospital wards becomes much more significant. This study seeks to analyze how various configurations and compositions of the resting space in the general hospital in Korea affect on patients in the aspect of healing environment and its treatment provided within the facility. The behavior of patients and their family members are analyzed thru the observation and the surveying process in order to find out the level of satisfaction and their demand for the healing environment in the resting space such as day-rooms, corridors and external garden. Finally, the purpose of this study is to create the principles of architectural composition for the healing environment in the hospital design.

Architectural design of general hospitals is progressing in the aspects of themes and concepts of design. This study aims to develope an overview of communal space design in general hospitals by analysing design compositions and themes and concepts involved in them. Organizational prototypes for communal space networks in existing hospitals are summariged for the result of this analysis, and concentration/distribution of communal spaces and hospital communications within communal spaces are included in the analysis.
