Recently the violent crimes is the emerging social issue and the crime prevention is important policy both for maintenance of public order and the national welfare. To prevent these crimes with the geospatial data, we study the geospatial crime DB features, analytical method and linking method of current National Police Agency's crime system data. In this study, the Geospatial Information Open Platform(Vworld) was used to map the test site crime DB on the thematic map. We also researched the mesh-up thematic map and optimal location model of petrol car and CCTV.

The his paper describes Management System of Environment GIS Data using JVM, JDBC, Oracle DB. Environment GIS data using the system are satellite Image, Thematic Map, GIS Data. The data have spatial information and attribute information. The search supplies spatial search using viewing-map on Web browser, nonspatial search using the attributes of data. The registration of data use the registration system of data on Web browser.

Land suitability assessment is the procedure that assesses development, agriculture or conservation suitability of land according to such criteria as soil, location and usability. But there are many problems to execute land assessment by law. Problems include inadequate basic data, lack of linkage with the spatial planning system, and inefficiency in operation. The purpose of this study is to improve methods of land suitability assessment as a sustainable land use management tool using case study. In this study, land suitability assessment will be executed through GIS. On the basis of the results of this case study, practical and institutional problems are described, and technical solutions are suggested.

Recently the life and property damage caused by urban inundation have increased. In order to prevent the damage by inundation the researches for displaying the flooded areas through integrating SWMM and GIS have been progressed. However most of flood analysis systems only have used the GIS to display the flooded areas, and don't provide the integration disaster information to prevent the inundation. In this paper, we design a prototype for the Map Viewer based Spatial DB for the integrated urban floooded area management system. And we implement the spatial DB conversion module.

본 연구의 목적은 GIS를 활용하여 환경홈닥터와 관련된 정보를 관리하고 활용할 수 있는 환경홈닥터 관리시스템을 구축하는데 있다. 환경홈닥터 관리시스템은 환경홈닥터 DB관리시스템, 사이버 환경컨설팅시스템, 환경홈닥터 WebGIS 시스템, 원격 현장조사시스템으로 구성하였다. 원격 환경홈닥터 DB 관리시스템은 사용자 DB, 환경홈닥터 DB, 환경컨설팅 DB를 구축하고 관리할 수 있도록 개발하였다. 원격 환경홈닥터 서비스시스템은 홈페이지를 이용하여 환경컨설팅 업무를 수행할 때 발생하는 홈페이지 관련일반정보와 환경홈닥터 관련 정보를 통합하여 관리할 수 있도록 개발하였다. 환경홈닥터 WebGIS 시스템은 지원업체에 대한 공간정보 및 속성정보, 도로 및 주요 건물들에 대하여 GIS DB화하고 ESRI사의 ArcIMS를 이용하여 사용자가 언제 어디서나 웹을 통하여 검색하고 이를 활용할 수 있도록 개발하였다. 사이버 환경컨설팅 시스템은 지원요청 업체와 환경홈닥터가 직접 만나지 않고도 환경컨설팅 업무를 수행할 수 있으므로, 환경홈닥터 서비스 지원도구로 활용할 수 있다. 또한 환경홈닥터 제도 운영시 발생하는 방대한 양의 데이터를 체계적으로 관리하고 진단이력 및 유사사례 검색 등의 기능을 신속하게 수행할 수 있으므로, 효율적인 환경컨설팅 업무 수행에 활용할 수 있을 것이다. 또한 WebGIS에 의해 환경홈닥터를 관리함으로써 공간정보와 속성정보를 쉽게 관리하고 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

GIS was introduced to spatial information of complex and various facility systematically and scientifically. And, recently, new trend has been spread by Mobile GIS owing to its fast development of information and communication technology. However, these Mobile GIS techniques were introduced in maintenances of various facilities. Due to its mismanagement, the use became insufficient in facilities causing database creation to require realism and mobility. Therefore, in this research to road facility of various facilities, it deduced improving the work process by using a Mobile GIS to analyze work process of the road facility database creation. And, through an experiment, by comparing and analyzing road facilities database creation process by existing method and improving method, could improvement of road facility database creation using a Mobile GIS.

We have developed the 45-Van system in order to maximize the interoperability of spatial data in 45(GNSS, SIIS, GIS, ITS) by sharing and providing spatial data of remote site. The 4S-Van system enables to acquisition and production of information for GIS database and the accurate position information by combining and connecting GPS/IMU, laser, CCD(charged-coupled device) image, and wireless telecommunication technology. That is, 4S-Van system measures its position and attitude using integrated GPS/IMU and takes two photographs of the front scene by two CCD cameras, analyzes position of objects by space intersection method, and constructs database that has compatibility with existing vector database system. Furthermore, infrared camera and wireless communication technique can be applied to the 4S-Van for a variety of applications. In this paper, we discuss the design and functions of 4S-Van that is equipped with GPS, CCD camera, and IMU.

현재 지방자치단체에서는 각자 도시기반시설물관리시스템을 구축하여 활용하고 있다. 그리고 GIS DB 구축 시, 같은 속성 값을 가지고 있는 시설물에 대해서도 중복 작업을 진행하고 있다. 각 지방자치단체가 관리하고 있는 시설물의 대부분은 공통된 시설물을 대상으로 하고 있지만 DB 속성항목에서 다소 차이가 나고 있다. 이에 공통된 동일 시설물에 대해서는 DB의 속성항목을 표준화하고 시설물의 사양을 표준화하여 각 시설물 사양에 따라 ID를 부여하여 도시기반시설물 전자라이브러리(Electronic Library)를 구축하는 방안을 제시한다.

공간정보는 도형적인 요소와 결합된 비도형 속성에 의하여 데이터베이스를 형성하고 있어 필요시에는 언제든지 가시적인 형태로 보여줄 수 있어야 그 효율성이 증대된다. 이를 위하여 가장 많이 이용할 수 있는 것이 다양한 형태의 지도이다. 본 연구에서는 지도의 다양한 형태를 구분하여 필요시에 언제든지 보여줄 수 있는 지도 콘텐츠의 데이터베이스를 설계하고 SQL문으로 손쉽게 검색하여 보여줄 수 있는 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 그 결과, 약 100여 가지의 다양한 지도파일을 인덱스로 구분하여 도엽번호, 지명, 년대별, 주제별로 공간정보의 가시화를 보여줄 수 있었다.
