수학적 힘의 함양과 문제해결력의 신장을 위한 수학교육에서 확률영역은 중요한 학습소재임에도 불구하고, 확률영역은 어려운 것으로 고착되었다. 이 연구에서는 학생들이 확률영역의 어떤 부분을 어려워하고 이해하기 힘들어하는지를 구체적 문항분석을 통하여 알아봄으로서 교수-학습의 기초자료를 제공하고자한다. 이를 위하여, 지난 10년간 출제되었던 대학수학능력시험의 확률영역 16문항을 고등학교 학생 220명에게 실시하고, 고전검사이론과 문항반응이론울 적용하여 그 결과를 분석하였다. 고전검사이론에서는 신뢰도와 변별도를 측정하였고, 문항반응이론에서는 Rasch 1-모수 문항반응모형에 근거한 BIGSTEP을 사용하여 내적타당도와 난이도를 측정하였다.

This essay suggests a constructive interpretation of probabilities by diagnosing problems of the objective and the epistemic interpretations of probability. According to this interpretation, attributions of the mathematical structure of probability to a given system can be understood as positing constructive theoretical hypotheses showing the relationship among empirical data. The constructive interpretation is applied to comprehend probability claims in the explanation of temporal asymmetrical behaviour of our universe. A new approach interpreting probabilities as constructive theoretical terms enables us to circumvent shortcomings of both objective and subjective interpretation of probability, and appreciate why these interpretations nevertheless appear to be convincing in our case.

Fisher's classical method for combining independent p-values from continuous distributions is widely used but it is known to be inadequate for combining p-values from discrete probability distributions. Instead, the discrete analog of Fisher's classical method is used as an alternative for combining p-values from discrete distributions. In this paper, firstly we obtain p-values from discrete probability distributions associated with multi-sample location test data (Fisher-Pitman test and Kruskall-Wallis test data) by permutation method, and secondly combine the permutaion p-values by the discrete analog of Fisher's classical method. And we finally compare the combined p-values from both the discrete analog of Fisher's classical method and Fisher's classical method.

This essay attempts to suggest a third way to interpret probabilities based on diagnoses of weaknesses and strengths of the objective and the subjective interpretations. While the objective interpretations capture important intuitions in employing probability, it can provide the definitions of probability only in a circular way. Although the subjective interpretations seem to avoid this problem, it also fails to understand how one can extract certain information from the ignorance of a given system. It will be suggested that these problems can be bypassed if we consider probabilities as theoretical structure, which provide significant generalizations about the world.

베이지안 다중 검정방법(multiple hypothesis test)은 여러 통계모형에서 성공적인 결과를 주는 것으로 알려져있다. 일반적으로, 베이지안 가설검정은 고려중인 모형에 대한 사후확률을 계산하여 가장 높은 확률은 갖는 모형을 선택하기 때문에 귀무가설의 기각여부에만 관심을 가지는 고전적인 분산분석 검정과는 달리 좀 더 구체적인 모형을 선택할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 이 논문에서는 독립이면서 로그정규분포를 따르는 K($\geq$3)개 모집단의 모수에 대한 가설 검정방법으로 O’Hagan(1995)이 제안한 부분 베이즈 요인을 이용한 베이지안 방법을 제안한다. 이 때 모수에 대한 사전분포로는 무정보적 사전분포를 사용한다. 제안한 검정 방법의 유용성을 알아보기 위하여 실제 자료의 분석과 모의 실험을 이용하여 고전적인 검정방법과 그 결과를 비교한다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the United States Elementary Mathematics textbooks "Everyday Mathematics", focused on area of the probability. The concept of probability as qualitative probability is taught from Kindergarten in EM curricula for progressive mathematising. EM have reflected both perspectives in probability which are a frequency perspective and a classical perspective. And EM includes abundant activities for remedying the misconceptions of probability. On the basis of the results from this analysis, we have five suggestions which are helpful for the revision of the Korean national curriculum.

This paper aims to introduce a construction method for the 'Wooden Die for Drinking Game' and to find some geometrical structures and mathematics educational viewpoints. As the results, we get two methods which are eventually same with Figure 5 and Figure 6-3. We proved the ground that classical probability of this Die's each side showing up is one out of fourteen and introduced few other empirical probabilities with Table 1 to Table 3. Also, some Chinese characters were corrected and re-interpreted. In fact, 象人打鼻 changed to 衆人打鼻, and 醜物 is interpreted as 'ugly animal' such as frog, toad, earthworm or pine caterpillar.

본 연구에서는 학교수학에서 증명지도의 문제점을 정당화의 측면에서 분석하고, 정당화의 한 방법으로서 확률론적 정당화를 제시하며, 학교수학에서 정당화 지도의 교육적 가치, 정당화 지도의 방향, 정당화 지도의 예와 지도 방법에 대해 논의한다. 이러한 논의에 근거하여 학교수학에서의 정당화 지도의 필요성 및 가능성에 관하여 살펴본다. 본 연구에서 '증명'은 고전적인 의미에서의 증명, 즉 엄밀한(rigorous) 증명, 수학적(mathematical) 증명이고, '정당화'는 기존의 수학적 증명 개념은 물론, 다양한 논증 기법을 포함하는 넓은 의미이다.

The error performance of BPSK and QPSK signals with diversity reception in mobile-satellite channel is investigated considering nonlinearity of TWT (Traveling Wave Tube) amplifier in the presence of AWGN(Additive White Gaussian Noise) on the uplink and downlink paths. It is assumed that the fading on the dounlink path forms a Rician distribution. The Rician distribution is approximated by discrete probability values. The values are firstly found by Classical Moment Technique.
