선박 내에서 발생하는 소음은 그 크기와 특성이 매우 다양하게 나타난다. 최근 건조 선박의 고속화 추세로 인하여 선내 소음이 증가되고 있으며, 이러한 소음은 선박에 종사하는 선원들의 거주환경에 영향을 미치는 중요한 요소이다. 이에 관해서는 구보민, 유전민미 등의 연안어선에 대한 연구가 있으나 국내에서는 생활공간이 협소한 소형어선의 선내 소음과 그 대책에 관한 연구가 거의 없는 실정이다. (중략)

소형 어선의 조업 환경을 개선하고자 하는 선주와 어민 입장에서 연안에서 번번히 발생하는 그물 걸림이나 충돌시 손상이 적은 추진장치를 저렴하게 공급받기를 원한다. 어선의 고속화 및 낚시전용선 개발 추제에 부응하여 어선용 소형 물제트 추진장치의 특성을 파악하고, 시스템의 개념 설계, 시제품 제작과 시운전 시험을 통하여 실용화 가능성을 검토하였다. 어선의 저항 감소, 캐비테이션 억제 등과 관련된 한계 기술을 개발하는 후속 연구가 진행되고 있다.

The study on the improvement of resistance performance is very important for coastal fishing boats in Korea, because the prices of fuel oil are gradually risen and the demand of high-speed fishing boats is increased lately. This study is concerned with the improvement of the resistance performance for Korean high-speed small coastal fishing boats. A semi-planing hull form of Korean small coastal fishing boat is selected in the role of initial hull. From the modification of the hull form parameters and the local characteristics of the hull form, the improvement of the resistance performance is achieved. The resistance performances of the initial and the modified hull forms are estimated by using a numerical simulation method. Also, ship model tests are carried out in ship model basin.

Damages such as beach erosion, seawall destruction and difficulty of cargo working due to rolling of ship result from shipwave. In addition, high speed operations of motor boat and passenger ship respectively jeopardize sea bathers and anglers' safety. In general, shipwaves in shallow water have worse effect on coastal facilities and working people there than those in deepwater. This study aims to investigate the characteristics of shipwaves which occurred and propagated in shallowwater experimentally and theoretically.
