인구 고령화와 복지증진에 따라 인체 삽입형 의료기기에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있으며, 더 다양한 기능을 제공하는 제품들이 출시되고 있다. 반면, 이러한 다양한 기능의 요구로 인해 인체 삽입형 의료기기의 전력소모가 커지고 있어 일차전지만으로는 충분한 기능을 제공하지 못하거나 한정된 사용시간으로 말미암아 환자들이 삽입형 의료기기의 전원공급만을 위해서 추가적인 비용과 고통을 감수하고 있는 현실이다. 본고에서는 무선 전력 전송 기술을 활용하여 인체 삽입용 의료기기로 전력을 무선으로 전송하고 재충전이 가능한 인체 삽입용 의료기기의 기능과 사용 시간의 확대를 가능하게 하는 무선 충전 전원 모듈 기술의 동향과 전망을 살펴봄으로써 관련 국내 산업계가 기술 전환기를 대비하는데 필요한 기초 정보를 제공하고자 한다.

Recently we experienced coronary artery bypass graft in two patients over 70years of age. Among them, one case was 74 old year male and the other case was 73 old year male. The coronary artery diseases of them were angiographically diagnosed to triple vessel diseases. We only used great saphenous vein as graft vessel in two patients. The postoperative courses were good except mediastinal bleeding in 1 case. They were discharged with good results. They were still healthy 40 months in one and 30 months in the other after coronary artery bypass grafting.

The elderly are more likely to have chronic medical conditions that require multiple drug therapies. Purposes of this study are to reveal necessity of elderly patient education by pharmacists, and to induce appropriate policy. We carried out literature research. Taking several drugs together increases risk of drug interactions and adverse reactions. We suggest that pharmacists have the legal authority to monitor prescription for efficient drug management, pharmacovigilance system be efficiently operated, and medication education fee be provided to allow pharmacists give more time to the elderly.

우리나라는 최근 의료기술의 발달로 고령화 사회에 진입하여 만성 질환을 가진 노인의 수가 증가하고 있다. 이에 건강보조식품과 만성질환의약품을 복합하여 복용하는 노인들의 약물부작용이 다수 발생하고 있다. 이러한 부작용을 해결하기위해 노인만성질환자들이 복용하는 의약품과 건강보조식품의 상호작용 양상을 알아보고 해결방안을 모색해야할 필요성이 있다. 본 연구는 현재 만성질환의약품과 건강보조식품의 부작용이 일어나고 있는 5가지를 지정하여 노인들이 쉽게 알아볼 수 있도록 표시해주는 그림문자를 개발하였다. 건강보조식품과 만성질환의약품간의 상호작용에 대한 적극적인 복약지도와 그림문자를 통해 만성질환 노인환자의 부작용 발생을 예방함으로써 보다 안전하고 효과적인 의약품 사용이 가능해 질 것으로 기대된다.

Ganglioneuroma (GN) is benign neurogenic tumor arising from ganglia of the sympathetic nervous system. They are mostly found at posterior mediastinum, retroperitoneum, and adrenal gland, whereas only 1-5% occurred in the cervical region. GN usually present as a single, painless and slow-growing mass, but multiple cervical occurrences are extremely rare. An 80-year-old woman came to our clinic complained of posterior neck mass for three years. We performed surgical excision, and it was finally diagnosed as GN. We report the unique and rare disease entity with a brief literature review.

고령사회에 접어들면서 연속적으로 심전도를 관찰할 필요가 있는 만성 심장 질환 환자의 수가 증가함에 따라, 이동형 심전도 측정 모듈을 활용하여 심전도를 분석하는 진단 시스템의 필요성이 크게 증가하고 있다. 이에 따라서 본 연구에서는 무구속 패치형 심전도 측정 모듈을 이용하여 심전도를 획득하고, 획득한 심전도를 무선으로 전송받아 Matched Filter를 이용하여 잡음을 제거하고 R-peak 검출을 수행하여 심장활동을 모니터링하고자 하였다.

Objectives The purpose of this study was to report the improvement of elderly patient's severe anorexia including low blood pessure and cold hypersensitivity of hands and feet after treatment with Osuyubujaijung-tang. Methods We retrospectively reviewed the medical records. This patient was diagnosed Soeumin lesser yin symptom according to Sasang constitutional medicine. He treated by Osuyubujaijung-tang. Results and Conclusions A patient with anorexia, low blood pressure, cold hypersensitivity of hands and feet, dizziness, general weakness showed the improvement of symptoms with treatment after Osuyubujaijung-tang.

The postoperative respiratory complications such as pneumonia and ARDS, are poor prognostic factors after esophagectomy in patients with esophageal cancer. To avoid these complications, there have been attempts to use minimally invasive approach. Recently introduced daVinciTM S surgical system is used in esophagectomy because of its advantages of minimal invasiveness, clear 3-dimensional imaging and precise handling of robotic arms. We report a 83-year-old esophageal cancer patient who underwent daVinciTMS robot-assisted esophagectomy, laparoscopic stomach mobilization followed by cervical esophagogastrostomy.

고령화 사회의 웰빙트렌드와 생활습관에 의해서 의료서비스는 병원 중심의 치료서비스에서 개인과 의료인이 상호 긴밀하게 협력하여 질병의 예방, 관리, 건강증진 등을 제공하는 u-의료서비스 트렌드로 급속히 변화되고 있다. 최근 Biotechnology (BT), Information technology (IT)의 발달은 다양한 소형 센서 및 기기 개발을 가능하게 하고 있으며, 이렇게 측정한 환자의 데이터가 병원과 의사에게 전달되도록 함으로써 언제 어디서나 검사와 진료가 가능하도록 하는 유헬스케어 시스템이 대두되고 있다. 만성질환에 대한 유헬스케어 분야는 이제 단순한 의료차원이 아니라, BT 및 IT부문에 각각 굉장한 산업적 파급효과를 일으킬 수 있어 차세대 성장동력사업으로 발전할 수 있을 것으로 기대하고 있다.
