Cross-cultural differences in Korean and American children′s behavior attributions (한국 아동과 미국 아동의 행동귀인에서의 문화차 연구)

  • 본 연구는 아동의 일상 심리학이 그들의 문화에 따라 다르게 나타나는지를 알아보고자 한 것이다. 이러한 발달적 보편성의 문제를 해결하기 위해, 우선 한국 아동과 미국 아동의 타인 행동에 대한 설명을 비교하였다. 또한 서로 다른 문화를 반영할 수 있는 분석 틀을 고안하여. 이러한 서로 다른 분석 틀에 따라 두 나라 아동의 행동설명이 어떻게 다르게 나타나는지를 비교하였다. 본 연구에서는 미국식 범주인 '내적-외적' 법주와 한국식 범주인 '개인-관계-상황' 범주를 사용하였다. 연구결과. 두 나라의 아동은 타인의 행동설명에서 차이를 보여주었다. 미국 아동은 한국 아동에 비해 심리 '내적' 요인과 '개인적' 요인을 더 많이 사용하였으며. 한국 아동은 타인의 '상황적' 조건을 더 많이 고려하여 행동을 설명하였다. 그러나 두 문화권의 아동은 행동설명 과제에서 모두 '내적' 요인과 '개인적' 요인을 다른 요인보다 더 많이 선호하였으며. 오직 '상황적' 요인의 고려에서만 발달적 차이를 나타내는 공통점을 보여주었다.

Determinants of Debt Ratio in Public Institutions

  • This study investigated the determinants of debt ratio in public institutions. For this purpose, we analyzed the impact of external and internal factors on debt ratio. In this paper, external factors included government grants and deficits compensation, and internal factors included inefficient management. The results of this study are as follows. First, we find that there is a significant positive relation between government grants and debt ratio. This result means that the higher government grants, the higher debt ratio. Second, we also find that there is a significant positive relation between deficits compensation and debt ratio. This implies that the institutions subject to deficits compensation have higher debt ratio. Third, we can not find a significant relation between welfare benefit and debt ratio. This finding implies that inefficient management is not a factor on debt ratio of public institutions. The results documented in this paper provide important policy implications for investigating the determinants of debt ration in public institutions.

The Effects of Motivation and Continuing Factors on the Satisfaction of Volunteer Activities and Marketing Intention for Volunteers in Public Libraries (공공도서관 자원봉사자의 참여동기와 지속요인이 자원봉사활동 만족도와 마케팅 의도에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구)

  • Volunteers in public libraries are recognized only as internal manpower, so their sustainability and effectiveness are limited because the motivation for volunteering is hardly considered. This study aims to explore the motivation for volunteering in public libraries and the factors to continuation of the volunteering, and to analyze how these factors affect volunteer satisfaction and marketing intentions. To this end, the variables in this studies including satisfaction and motivation was defined operationally based on the related research and a pilot study with several in-depth interviews. A questionnaire survey was executed with the defined variables and the survey data were analyzed statistically. The results showed that the factors of emotional and psychological motivation influenced the satisfaction and marketing intention rather than the managerial factors such as remuneration. The results indicate the need for a change in volunteer management to a relationship-oriented management method. This study is meaningful in that it expands the value of volunteers in public libraries from as managerial to as marketing resources for public libraries.

Audience and Media Predictors for Digital Content Purchases: A Multilevel Approach (디지털 콘텐츠 구매를 위한 고객 및 미디어 요인: 다층수준 접근 방식)

  • Previous studies on willingness to pay for digital content have mainly focused on audience factors and individual level. To complement the limitation of previous research, this study conducts a multilevel analysis to find the factors influence digital content purchases considering two axes: audience/media factors and individual/household levels. Using a sample of 10,172 individuals within 4,313 households, the analysis results show individual media factors including theater-going, experience with cloud services, and multi-screen service usage have the greatest effects on digital content purchases. At the household level, the media ownership factors that the number of laptops, wireless routers, and tablets have a greater influence than audience factors such as household size or household income. Our findings help scholars to enhance the understanding of individuals' media use considering household environmental factors and shed light on the importance of multi-screen service usage, and content providers to improve their digital content sales using multi-screen environment.

  • 보험사업은 무형의 서비스를 판매하는 것이므로 별도의 물류시스템이 필요 없으며, 각종 상품 중 특히, 자동차 보험은 보험 고객에게 필요성이 널리 인식되어 있어 가상판매에 가장 적합한 사업이라 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 인터넷을 이용한 보험상품 판매 시 고려해야 할 요인들을 알아보고자 한다. 설문조사를 통해 고객이 인터넷을 이용한 보험계약 시 고려하는 요인, 원하는 서비스, 회사 선택 시 고려사항 등을 파악하였으며 이를 통해 사이버 보험 판매 활성화 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

The Importance Analysis of the Selection Factors for IPTV using AHP (계층적 분석방법을 활용한 IPTV 선택요인의 중요도 분석)

  • This paper is to analyze the relative weight and the priority order of the selection factors for IPTV. To obtain the goal this paper, firstly, the selecting factors for IPTV were identified and conceptualized on reviewing previous literatures. And this paper proposed the hierarchy model using the factor analysis on IPTV users. and utilized AHP in analysis method. Secondly, AHP model constructed 4 higher factors, and 15 lower factors. The higher factors were 'Quality Acceptance', 'Social Effect', 'Using Motive' and 'Individual Psychology'. Results of this study show that relative weights among factors IPTV selection were founded as 'Quality Acceptance(33.0%)', 'Utilization Motive(31.8%)', 'Individual Psychology(21.3%)' and 'Social Influence(13.9%)'. Economic efficiency takes the top rank in sub-criteria included 15 factors and than convenience, amount of information, discrimination, self-efficacy, innovation, relative advantage in order listed. For the generalization of the research results, further researchs are needed to investigate intended use of IPTV on other method of analysis.

Concrete Strength Prediction Neural Network Model Considering External Factors (외부영향요인을 고려한 콘크리트 강도예측 뉴럴 네트워크 모델)

  • The strength of concrete is affected significantly not only by the internal influence factors of cement, water, sand, aggregate, and admixture, but also by the external influence factors of concrete placement delay and curing temperature. The objective of this research was to predict the concrete strength considering both the internal and external influence factors when concrete is placed at the construction site. In this study, a concrete strength test was conducted on the 24 combinations of internal and external influence factors, and a neural network model was constructed using the test data. This neural network model can predict the concrete strength considering the external influence factors of the concrete placement delay and curing temperature when concrete is placed at the construction site. Contractors can use the concrete strength prediction neural network model to make concrete more robust to external influence factors during concrete placement at a construction site.

  • The purpose of this research is to verify the sellers' preference of online shopping platform and simple payment service among the Korean domestic online shopping platforms and analyze which factors they consider depending upon their preferred platform and service. The result of this study shows that the reputation, ease of payment, and ease to navigate of online shopping platform should be considered seriously in choosing the online shopping platform. Also, the usability, ease of payment and service fee of simple payment service are influencing factors to select simple payment service for sellers. Meanwhile, the result confirms that the degree of reputation, ease to navigate, service fee, and ease of payment differs on each selected online shopping platform. Also, the degree of usability and security in simple payment service is different between each chosen simple payment services.

  • The financial value of early stage start-up has a tendency to depend more on the non-financial factors, but these are not efficiently reflected in the traditional valuation models. Therefore, most of valuation practices for early stage start-ups heavily relied on the guts of experts. To remedy this, this study suggests a model to directly reflect the non-financial factors especially for the real options approach. Actual process of valuation and the adjustment way were developed considering the characteristics of early stage start-ups in the game industry.

  • 최근 기후변화 때문에 태풍, 호우 등 자연재해로 수방시설물의 피해규모가 커지고 있으며 이러한 피해는 단일 재해요인이 아닌 여러 재해요인이 복합적으로 작용하여 발생하고 있다. 그러므로 도시의 안전성과 방재기능을 확보하기 위해서는 복합위험요소를 고려한 재해위험도의 진단 기술 및 종합적인 재해경감대책 수립을 위한 연구가 필요한 실정이다. 복합위험요소를 고려한 재해위험도 및 재해경감대책을 수립하기 위해서는 도시재해를 유발하는 다양한 요인들이 도시재해에 미치는 영향과 재해요인 중에서 어떠한 재해요인이 도시재해에 더 큰 영향을 미치는지에 대한 검토가 필요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 정보전달 이론 중의 하나인 엔트로피 방법을 이용하여 복합위험요소를 고려하여 도시지역에 대한 재해위험도를 나타내는 복합위험지수의 가중치를 산정하고자 하였다. 복합위험지수의 가중치는 지표별 속성정보를 추출하여 정규화 과정을 거친 후, 속성별 엔트로피를 산정하여 지표별로 산정된다. 엔트로피 방법에 따라 산정된 가중치는 다른 가중치 산정 방법에 따라 산정된 가중치와의 비교 분석을 통하여 타당성을 검토할 것이며, 이렇게 산정된 가중치를 복합위험지수 산정에 적용한다면, 보다 현실성 있는 도시재해 위험성 또는 취약성 지수로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.
