장대교 내풍설계를 위한 풍동실험

  • 본 고에서는 현재 설계 완료 상태에 있는 서대해대교 사장교의 내풍설계를 위한 풍동실험을 중심으로 풍동실험의 계획단계에서부터 제작방법, 교량가설 지점에서의 기류형태에 대한 MODELING 방법, 풍동실험의 전반적 방법, 난류상태에서의 실험결과 등을 소개하였다. Computer로부터 계산된 고유진동수를 비교한 결과, 그 값이 잘 일치함으로써 모형제작이 우수한 것으로 판단되었다. 교량 자체의 안정성은 100년 빈도 풍속을 기준으로 안전율이 약 2.4를 유지함으로써 매우 안정한 것으로 입증되었고, Vortex Shedding 진동현상도 보이지 않음으로써 교형단면 형상은 적절히 선정되었음이 밝혀졌다. 따라서, 본 실험에서 사용된 방법 및 경험은 향후 건설될 장대교에 대한 내풍설계용 풍동실험에 많은 도움이 될 것으로 사료된다.

The Roofing System of High wind-Resistant Performance using Thermoplastic polyolefin and Electromagnetic Induction Technology (TPO 시트재와 유도가열공법을 적용한 고내풍성 지붕마감 공법)

  • Strong winds according to global warming cause the increase of the frequency and the repair cost of damaged roofs. In the United States, Factory Mutual Insurance Company(FMIC) promotes the roofing design that resists heavy wind-load, as the means of strict criteria. This fact reveals that more durable roofing system will be also required in Korea. Therefore, this study aims at developing such a system with high wind-resistance performance using Thermoplastic polyolefin(TPO) and Electromagnetic induction technology(EIT) than the previous systems. The system presented in this study consists of 4 main devices as follow; 1) a disc to fix sheets for TPO & EIT method, which can conduct structural design according to site condition, such as region, building height, and wind load. 2) a nail to have about 30% stronger lifting-up capacity than that of the previous nail. 3) a disc to fix sheets, which has triangle protuberance not to damage sheets in the repeatable wind load, and 4) a electromagnetic induction device to combine a disc and a sheet by heating uniformly and quickly adhesive agent on the disc. The results of mock-up test illustrate that the system provides wind-resistant performance to achieve satisfactorily the structural design criteria of FMIC. In addition, the system is faster, chipper, and easier than the existing system, and is expected that this roofing system can be applied to the rehabilitations of an existing as well as a new building.

The design of V shape with 3 dimensional suspension foot bridge (V형 주탑 3차원 보도현수교의 설계)

  • 두가현수교는 2010년 8월 집중호우로 인해 유실된 교량을 복구하기 위한 과업으로서 향후 재발방지를 위해 중앙 경간장을 증가시켜 통수단면적을 추가확보하고, 교량 여유고를 상향시켜 수해에 대비한 견고한 교량으로 계획하였다. 또한 보행자의 통행을 위한 보도육교의 특성을 고려하여 지역의 관광자원이 될 수 있도록 중앙경간 125m의 V형 주탑 3차원 보도현수교로 설계하였다. 보강거더는 H-Beam을 이용하여 자재 수급 및 취급이 용이하며 강재 바닥판을 적용하여 보다 경량화된 보강거더를 적용함으로써 주케이블의 장력 감소에도 기여하도록 하였으며, 행어정착을 위한 별도의 정착거더를 채택한 ${\pi}$형식을 채택하여 풍동실험을 통해 내풍 안정성을 확인하였다. 주케이블 및 행어는 미관, 구조적 안정성, 유지관리성 및 가설의 용이함을 고려하여 PE를 피복한 PWS케이블을 선정하였다. 경관을 고려한 V형 주탑을 이용한 3차원 케이블을 채택하여 지역의 상징물을 표현하였으며 기초의 규모를 최소화 하였다. 또한 H형 및 A형 주탑과의 비교를 통해 V형 주탑 교량의 특성을 검토하였다.

Estimation on the Power Spectral Densities of Daily Instantaneous Maximum Fluctuation Wind Velocity (변동풍속의 파워 스펙트럴 밀도에 관한 평가)

  • Wind turbulence data is required for engineering calculations of gust speeds, mean and fluctuating loading. Spectral densities are required as input data for methods used in assessing dynamic response. This study is concerned with the estimation of daily instantaneous maximum wind velocity in the meteorological major cities (selected each 6 points) during the yearly 1987-2016.12.1. The purpose of this paper is to present the power spectral densities of the daily instantaneous maximum wind velocity. In the processes of analysis, used observations data obtained at Korea Meteorological Adminstration(KMA), it is assumed as a random processes. From the analysis results, in the paper estimated power spectral densities function(Blunt model) shows a very closed with von Karman and Solari's spectrum models.

Field Lodging Degree of Rice Varieties according to Nitrogen Application Rate (벼주요품종의 질소시비수준에 따른 도복저항성 정도)

  • This experiment was to evaluate lodging characteristics of 35 recommended rice varieties of Kyonggi-do at normal (110 kg N/ha) and hen (220 kg N/ha) nitrogen application rates during 1999 to 2000. At heavy N fertilization rate, varieties that were highly resistant to lodging were Obongbyeo, Daejinbyeo, Naepoongbyeo, Nonganbyeo and Ilpumbyeo. Fourteen varieties including Daeanbyeo were moderately resistant and 11 varieties including Jinbubyeo were susceptible to lodging. The lodging-related characters which showed the highest effect on lodging at lodging degree of 9 were culm length and height of center gravity, culm length at lodging degree of 5, and culm length and the third internode length at lodging degree of 3 or below. The difference in rice yield between normal and heavy nitrogen fertilization rate was within 5% in early-maturing varieties but there was great yield difference in mid- and late-maturing varieties depending on the degree of lodging. Consequently, stable rice yield could be obtained by selecting lodging-resistant varieties and lowering fertilization rate, specially in the paddy field where lodging occurrence is common.
