  • 고객관리란 고객데이터와 정보를 분석, 통합하여 개별 고객의 특성에 기초한 마케팅 활동을 계획, 지원, 평가하는 과정이다. 고객 관리는 기업에 있어서 가장 중요한 전략 중의 하나이며, 1990년대 이후로 그 중요성은 강조되어 왔다. 이러한 고객관리의 출발은 고객의 가치를 정확히 측정하는 것이며, 고객평생가치를 판단하기 위한 많은 연구가 이루어졌다. 우리는 고객평생가치 모델을 한국의 이동통신산업에 적용하기 위한 이론적 배경과 그 방법론을 분석하였다. 또한 이 논문은 이러한 과정에서 나타나는 문제점의 원인과 그 해결방안을 제시하고 있다. 이러한 연구와 방법론들은 실제 마케팅 전략에 직접적으로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

  • The electrical power industry has been recognized as a natural monopoly industry for its technological and industrial characteristics. However, a competitive market system has been introduced to that industry in Europe, North America and Australia to overcome the inefficiencies originated from the monopolistic system for decades. In Korea, the power industry is expected to be placed in a competitive market system within several years after separation and privatization of vertically integrated industry in progress. Hence, there is a need for a research on the increase of customer value in that industry, however, existing studies have little dealt with that problem and there is no research on the price policy to consider churn and retention of customers. Therefore, this study provides a methodology for increasing customer loyalty and lifetime value by presenting the lowest pricing plan which leads to diminishing customers' cost. It is verified through an empirical examination that firms can enhance customer loyalty using a price element in that industry and maximize their profit by finding out customers whose lifetime values would increase.

  • 본 고에서는 인터넷 쇼핑몰 기업들 중 신생기업들을 대상으로 이들의 기업환경에 맞는 데이터베이스 마케팅 방법론을 제시하고자 한다. 그러므로 데이터마이닝(Data Mining)을 이용하여 기존고객을 세분화한 다음 고객 개개인의 특성에 맞는 마케팅을 프로모션(Promotion)하고 신규고객을 획득할 때는 신규고객의 특성을 미리 예측하여 고객의 평생가치(LTV:Life Value)를 촉진하여 기업과 고객과의 관계성을 높이고, 기업은 안정된 고객층으로부터 수익을 창출하고, 기업으로부터 더 많은 혜택을 받게 하는 것에 대하여 연구하였다.

  • Recently, according to the development of computer technology, a large amount of customer data have been stored in database. Using such data, decision makers extract the useful information to make a valuable plan with data mining. In this paper, we design a forecasting model that classifies the exiting customers in the telecommunication industries using the classification rule, one of the data mining technologies. In other words, this paper builds a model of customer loyalty detection and analyzes customer patterns in mobile communication service market with data mining using neural network and regression methods. This model improves the relationship of customers and enterprises. As a result, the enterprise creates the profits from many customers and the customer receives more benefits from the enterprise.

  • 국내외 마케팅에 있어서 경쟁의 심화로 말미암아 새로운 고객의 획득에 따른 비용-효과보다 기존고객과의 관계유지를 위하여 고객의 평생가치를 높이도록 노력하는 것이 오히려 효과적인 경우가 많아졌다. 이러한 관계마케팅의 개념은 최근 마케팅을 포함한 기업경영 전반에 적용되는 고객관계관리(CRM)로 확장되고 있다. 또한 인터넷 기반의 e CRM이 고객행동의 분석도구를 거의 정확하고도 실시간으로 파악할 수 있게 함으로써 통합적 CRM의 아키텍쳐와 솔루션이 개발, 적용되고 있다. 통합 CRM에서의 고객은 B2B이든 B2C이든 간에 개별(개인) 고객을 가리키며, 개별 고객의 니즈와 요구를 적절하게 충족시킬 수 있도록 개인화 시스템을 구축하여 관리하는 것이 중요하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 통합 CRM의 기본 틀과 시스템을 비롯하여 개인화 설계를 어떻게 할 것인가에 관한 사례 및 실증분석에 앞서 그 배경 지식을 정리하고자 이론적 탐구를 하였다.

  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is a corporate marketing strategy maintaining and managing customers. And with CRM companies maximize the customer's value through a series of processes of new customer retention, VIP customer retention, customer value increase, potential customer activation, and customers for lifetime by collecting the customer information and taking advantage of it effectively. In particular, as the competitive environment is changing rapidly and getting more intense, maintaining the customer retention through customer churn management becomes more important in order to increase the customer value for maximizing the company's profit and to build up the relationship with customers. For example, the financial industry has managed the customer churn with the concept of customer segmentation. Recently the customer retention and churn management is becoming increasingly important in all business fields as well as financial industry since the companies expect the effect of preventing the customer churn by identifying characteristics of customers. However, despite the increasing interest and importance of the management of the customer churn, not many of studies are systematically executed by analyzing the data of customer churn. In this study we analyze the actual data of CRM activities for the customer retention, specifically the data of TV home-shopping. By doing so, we hope to identify the differences of demographic attributes and transaction specific characteristics in consumer behaviors between the churning customer and the retained customers. In addition, we try to find out the variables which can impact the churning of the customers and to predict the churn rate of individual customer through our proposed model of customer churn. In the end, based on our findings we suggest the possible marketing strategies for TV home-shopping companies.

A study on the CRM strategy for medium and small industry of distribution (중소유통업체의 CRM 도입방안에 관한 연구)

  • CRM refers to the operating activities that always maintain and promote good relationship with customers to ultimately maximize the company's profits by understanding the value of customers to meet their demands, establishing a strategy which may maximize the Life Time Value and successfully operating the business by integrating the customer management processes. In our country, many big businesses are introducing CRM initiatively to use it in marketing strategy however, most medium and small sized companies do not understand CRM clearly or they feel difficult to introduce it due to huge investment needed. This study is intended to present CRM promotion strategy and activities plan fit for the medium and small sized companies by analyzing the success factors of the leading companies those have already executed CRM by surveying the precedents to make the distributors out of the industries have close relation with consumers to overcome their weakness in scale and strengthen their competitiveness in such a rapidly changing and fiercely competing market. There are 5 stages to build CRM such as the recognition of the needs of CRM establishment, the establishment of CRM integrated database, the establishment of customer analysis and marketing strategy through data mining, the practical use of customer analysis through data mining and the implementation of response analysis and close loop process. Through the case study of leading companies, CRM is needed in types of businesses where the companies constantly contact their customers. To meet their needs, they assertively analyze their customer information. Through this, they develop their own CRM programs personalized for their customers to provide high quality service products. For customers helping them make profits, the VIP marketing strategy is conducted to keep the customers from breaking their relationships with the companies. Through continuous management, CRM should be executed. In other words, through customer segmentation, the profitability for the customers should be maximized. The maximization of the profitability for the customers is the key to CRM. These are the success factors of the CRM of the distributors in Korea. Firstly, the top management's will power for CS management is needed. Secondly, the culture across the company should be made to respect the customers. Thirdly, specialized customer management and CRM workers should be trained. Fourthly, CRM behaviors should be developed for the whole staff members. Fifthly, CRM should be carried out through systematic cooperation between related departments. To make use of the case study for CRM, the company should understand the customer and establish customer management programs to set the optimal CRM strategy and continuously pursue it according to a long-term plan. For this, according to collected information and customer data, customers should be segmented and the responsive customer system should be designed according to the differentiated strategy according to the class of the customers. In terms of the future CRM, integrated CRM is essential where the customer information gathers together in one place. As the degree of customers' expectation increases a lot, the effective way to meet the customers' expectation should be pursued. As the IT technology improved rapidly, RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) appears. On a real-time basis, information about products and customers is obtained massively in a very short time. A strategy for successful CRM promotion should be improving the organizations in charge of contacting customers, re-planning the customer management processes and establishing the integrated system with the marketing strategy to keep good relation with the customers according to a long-term plan and a proper method suitable to the market conditions and run a company-wide program. In addition, a CRM program should be continuously improved and complemented to meet the company's characteristics. Especially, a strategy for successful CRM for the medium and small sized distributors should be as follows. First, they should change their existing recognition in CRM and keep in-depth care for the customers. Second, they should benchmark the techniques of CRM from the leading companies and find out success points to use. Third, they should seek some methods best suited for their particular conditions by achieving the ideas combining their own strong points with marketing. Fourth, a CRM model should be developed that will promote relationship with individual customers just like the precedents of small sized businesses in Switzerland through small but noticeable events.

However, the recent business environment has brought the change in market due to the rapid progress of internet and e-commerce. CRM(custom relationship management) is a kind of the marketing progress which forms, manages, and intensifies the relationship between the customers and companies to manage the acquired customers and increase the worth of customers for the company. It needs the system base which analyzes the information of customers since it functions on the basis of various information about customers and is linked to the business category such as producing, marketing, and decision making. Since ERP is extending its function to SCM, CRM, and SEM(strategic Enterprise Management), the 21 century s ERP develop as the strategy tool of e-business and, as the mediation for this, will subdivide the functions of CRM effectively by the analogic study of data. Also, to accomplish classification work of the file which in existing becomes accomplished with possibility work with an automatic movement with the user will be able to accomplish a more efficiently work the agent which in order leads the machine studying law, it is one thing with system feature.

  • Today, companies are supporting filed of culture and art forms as part of its social contribution activities to cultural support. Also, improvement of commercial interests and profit structure for enhancing the image of support taking shape at the same time, such as a strategic approach. Culture of companies in building confidence and enhance its operational activity is the image of the positive effect that charitable point of view social contribution projects and strategic point of view of culture support activity. Therefore, corporate culture in the study formed in supporting a variety of factors recognized the importance, culture support for business activity is the image of the factors which are behavior, social responsibility actions, corporate contributions to analyze the impact. Then the company's corporate image formed by supporting a culture and see if any influence on customer loyalty to carry out an empirical study. The conclusions of this study are as follows: first of all, corporate culture support activity is affecting contributions to corporate social responsibility actions and behavior of the corporate image, and image formed to consumers has shown to have a positive impact on customer loyalty. Second, corporate image formed by supporting a culture wac shown to have a positive impact on customer loyalty.
