  • The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of the service characteristics of premium information contents, one of premium Internet contents, on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty, as the premium Internet contents market has attained a rapid growth owing to the nationwide penetration of the Internet and its ease of use. Earlier studies were analyzed to define the service characteristics of premium Internet information contents, and a research model and hypotheses were formulated to find out the influence of the characteristics on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. After a survey was conducted, the analyzable answer sheets from 359 respondents were analyzed. As a result, four service factors of premium Internet information contents that were reliability, charge, usefulness and convenience were identified as the variables that had a significant impact on customer satisfaction, and the other two factors that were timeliness and diversity exerted no influence on that. And customer satisfaction affected customer loyalty in a significant manner. This study attempted to investigate the influential relationship of the diverse service characteristics of premium Internet information contents on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty to have a good understanding of the attitude and will of consumers who bought the premium information contents, and this study also intended to make a contribution to the improvement of the quality of information contents in an effort to step up the revitalization of the Internet contents market by helping the market attract more loyal customers.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of a mileage program on consumers' negative emotions and behavior when the program failed. To accomplish the purpose of this study, the failures in mileage programs were classified into three types(refusal, delay, reduced advantages) with two types of customers' commitment(affective and calculative), and an experimental design was used to verify the effect of customers' negative emotions on their negative behavior when the programs fail. A total of 600 university students in Seoul and Pusan areas were surveyed from 1st of Sept. to 30th in 2009. The result suggests that both consumers with affective commitment and those with calculative commitment felt negative emotions(regret, disappointment) when a mileage program failed. Consumers with affective commitment to a company are expected to give negative words of mouth to others. Also, consumers with calculative commitment to a company are expected to complain and give negative words of mouth to others.

항공사-여행사 관계에서 수요환경 및 영향전략에 관한 연구

  • 본 연구는 최근 수요환경의 변화를 겪고 있는 항공사-여행사 관계를 중심으로 영향력 관계, 거래 집중화, 영향전략 등에 대하여 검토하고 있다. 항공권 판매 시장의 수요환경은 최종고객 중심으로 전환되고 있다. 이러한 환경적 변화는 항공사 유통역량 평가에 부정적인 영향을 주고 항공사의 낮아진 영향력은 여행사의 거래 집중화 경향을 감소시킬 것이라는 가설을 수립하였다. 추가하여 최종고객 중심의 수요환경 변화가 경로 구성원 상호 영향전략에 미치는 영향에 대해 가설을 수립하였다. 즉 영향력 관계가 비대칭적인 상황에서도 수요환경이 최종고객 중심으로 전개된다면 항공사의 영향전략에 대해서 여행사는 동일한 영향전략을 수행한다는 가설을 수려하였다. 그리고 항공사의 영향력과 여행사의 거래 집중화 관계에 경로 내 영향전략 유형에 따른 조절 효과를 가설화 하였다. 결과는 대체로 기대했던 가설이 채택되는 방향으로 나타났다. 그러나 비강압적 전략의 사용과 관련된 두 가지 가설은 기각되었다.

  • This research has analyzed the influences of Service quality on Brand image, Brand attitude and Behavioral intentions. And it is also investigate how is brand image and attitude effects behaviors on customers to choose airline. This research have valuable data in order to establish the strategy how airlines can introduce themselves to customers. Based on the statistic results, We are able to find out the meaningful differences. Airline's Service Quality cause the positive influences on brand image, brand attitude and behavioral intentions. This research has several implications such as what kind of strategies airline needs focused on in order to improve passenger's satisfaction.

  • This study was conducted to investigate the role of the type of strategies on the relationship organizational culture, strategics activities and the export performance of manufacturing SMEs. This study analyzed the moderated effects of type of strategies between the organizational culture, strategic activities and the export performance of SMEs. This study suggested 20 questions latent variables based on existing research. Organizational culture were divided into adhocracy culture and market culture and strategy types were divided into prospectors and defenders. The sample SMEs be analyzed were 200 firms. The 7 hypotheses including moderated effects were analyzed by using LISREL as structural equation modeling. In the result of empirical analysis, the adhocracy culture indicates a positive effect on customer relationship building activities but product quality assurance activities was not significant. Market culture showed a positive impact on both customer relationship building and quality assurance activities. This study conducted multi-group analysis for the purpose of the moderated effects of type of strategies. Multi-group analysis results showed that there are difference effects between the relationship of adhocracy culture, customer relationship building activities and product quality assurance activities. In addition, the group choice adhocracy culture based on the prospectors strategy had a greater impact than the market culture group on the relationship building activities and export performance.

  • This study aims to explore and understand better how consumers' value orientation relates to consumer's intention to use and Word-of-Mouth behaviors in using Web sites. Consumers have perceptions of the shopping value they acquire during their experiences in navigating Web sites. This consumer's shopping value is considered as utilitarian shopping value, information shopping value, and hedonic shopping value. The current paper proposes that value orientation of consumers in Web sites would consequently affect consumer attitude such as intention to use and Word-of-Mouth. In addition, the research investigates the moderating effect of consumer's personality between consumer's shopping value and consumers' attitude in Web sites. For testing the hypothesized research model, survey and Lisrel analysis are conducted. The findings emphasize that online providers need to focus on the perceived values most salient to consumers in order to improve their profitability. Furthermore, providers may also identify the reason why consumers perceive these values much lower when using the Web sites.

  • This study aims to identify service factors that satisfy customers in the internet shopping mail context. The study examines the relationship between service qualify and customer satisfaction, and explores the moderating role of the internet community type (i. e., transaction community group, interest community group and fantasy community group). By analyzing 188 questionnaires, we found that out of the five service quality dimensions, only reliability, tangibility, assurance and responsiveness dimensions have positive effects on customer satisfaction. We also found that there is a significant difference in the relationship between service quality and customer satisfaction by the perceived type of internet community implications of the findings and future research directions are discussed.

A Study on the Effect of Type and Personal Characteristics of Digital Signage (디지털 사이니지의 유형별 효과에 개인특성 변수가 미치는 영향)

  • In this study, we investigated the effect on digital signage, a new outdoor advertising medium. Specifically, this research examined the differential effects of interactive digital signage and simple touch digital signage through control variables such as involvement and self-efficacy. As a result, interactive digital signage showed positive advertising effect compared to simple touch digital signage. In addition, interactive digital signage has a more positive effect than simple touch digital signage when involvement is self-efficacy is high. However, the effect of the digital signage types was not significant when the self-efficacy was low. Lastly, involvement did not affect the effects of digital signage types. In this study, we can help to establish a customized customer strategy that can maximize digital signage effect.

  • This study conducted to examine how consumer's perception of COO(Country of (Brand) Origin) image affects brand association knowledge, how coo image and brand association knowledge affect buying intention, how these relationship differs in hedonic and utilitarian products and the moderating effect of consumer's ethnocentrism in the influence of brand association to buying intension. The results indicated the followings: First, it was significant COO Image affect brand association knowledge, more strong significant in Hedonic products than in utilitarian products. But it was not supported COO Image affect buying intension significantly. Second, Brand association knowledge affected buying intention significantly. And the last, consumer's ethnocentrism mediated between brand association knowledge and buying intention strong significantly.

A Study on Nonverbal Communication m the Service Provider (서비스 제공자의 비언어적 커뮤니케이션에 관한 연구)

  • As this study aimed to examine which influence the nonverbal communication of service provider has upon service performance in terms of service industry, the specific objectives are as follows. First, it tried to examine into the relationship between the nonverbal communication in the service provider, and the emotional attachment. Nonverbal communication is divided into 4 kinds such as physical language, proxemics, paralanguage, and physical appearance. Second, it aimed to examine the relationship between the customer's attachment to the service provider, and the social competence and trust in the service provider. Third, it tried to examine into the relationship of service provider's social competence and trust with the customer satisfaction and with the switching costs. Additionally, it examined the moderating effect in the service type and the service usage period in terms of the model that was presented in this study. Given examining the verified results in these research hypotheses, those are as follows. First, given seeing the relationship between the nonverbal communication and the emotional attachment, it was represented that the physical language, proxemics, and physical appearance, except paralanguage, have significantly positive(+) influence upon emotional attachment. Second, it was indicated that emotional attachment has significantly positive(+) influence upon the social competence and trust in the service provider. Third, the social competence in the service provider had no positive effect(+) on customer satisfaction, and was having significantly positive(+) influence upon the customer's perceived switching barrier. Fourth, it was represented that the customer satisfaction toward the service provider have significantly positive(+) influence upon the switching barrier. Finally, as a result of having verified whether or not the moderating effect in the service type and the service usage period, it was indicated to be produced the difference depending on the service type in the relationships between the physical language and the emotional attachment, between the paralanguage and the emotional attachment, between the emotional attachment and the trust, and between the trust and the switching barrier. Depending on the service usage period, the difference was represented, respectively, in the relationships between the physical language and the emotional attachment and between the physical appearance and the emotional attachment.
