  • This research started with the objective to clarify how policemen are affected by promotion by test among promotion system of police which is one of the very important factors deciding the efficiency of organization through morale of policemen and which is mentioned as a factor that raises morale of policeman. The job of police is the ground of life for policemen and the place of opportunity where they can find and develop the ego. Though it is difficult to perfectly realize diverse values and desires of individuals in the organizational society which is ruled by plural values, the organization is still responsible for grasping the desire and value of individual for organization and satisfying them to the minimal level. Nobody is free from stress in the past, present and future. That is, stress can be seen as a phenomenon that inevitably occurs in any occupation and environment. The stress factor of policeman in the organization that has been discussed all the time is the deficient opportunities of promotion. Thus, it is most important to manage the stress of members in the organization so as to efficiently operate police organization. If the factor of stress perceived by the members can be grasped and diminished, the efficiency of business will be increased. The objective of this research is to reduce the stress of policemen suffering in the test promotion system by analyzing the recognition of members, to find the method reducing stress by performing empirical research and to prepare alternatives in policy in the aspect of human resources in police and management of organization.

  • The purpose of this study: firstly, investigate cognition of affiliated members about manpower distribution of the South Regional Headquarters Korea Coast Guard(SRH-KCG) and danweis. Secondly, seek ways to reasonable manpower distribution of SRH-KCG and danweis. And this study's research subjects are five coast guards(Busan coast guard, Tongyeong coast guard, Yeosu coast guard, Jeju coast guard, Seogwipo coast guard) belonged to SRH-KCG. The results of this study: firstly, 56.7% of affiliated members approved the need to organizational diagnosis. Secondly, must manpower loading in order of Busan coast guard Tongyeong coast guard Jeju coast guard. Thirdly, must manpower loading in order of maritime safety division the security division criminal investigation divition.

  • 지역사회경찰활동은 범죄와 무질서, 그리고 범죄에 대한 두려움을 줄이고자 고안되었고, 또한 지역사회의 명백한 요구와 수요를 충족시키기 위해 나타나게 된 하나의 철학이며, 전술이 아니라고 할 수 있다. 지역사회 경찰활동의 기본적 목표를 단순한 범죄의 사후적 통제로부터 더 나아가 범죄예방, 범죄에 대한 시민의 두려움 감소, 공공서비스 강화를 통한 시민생활의 향상으로 확대하여 사전적 예방에 중점을 두고 있다. 우리경찰에서는 현재 지역사회 경찰활동에 관한 여러 가지 정책을 시행해오고 있으며, 이러한 지역 사회경찰활동과 더불어 조현오 경찰청장의 경찰성과주의는 2010년 6월 이후 커다란 이슈가 되어 현재 경찰조직에서 사용되는 평가의 척도로 사용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 사후적 대처의 성격이 강한 경찰성과주의와 사전적 예방활동의 성격이 강한 지역사회경찰 활동의 주된 내용을 살펴보고, 두 정책의 괴리현상에 대한 문제점을 살펴보도록 한다.

  • Previous findings on Organizational Citizenship Behaviors is a useful index for effectiveness of the organization. Also, it is a factor that explains the relation between its member's attitude and behavior as organizational commitment had been stabilized. Since autonomy and rapidity has become more important in increasing the efficiency of the organization, this means Organizational Citizenship Behaviors has become important in it. Organizational Citizenship Behaviors of the members occurs only when discretion and autonomy are given to its members. Therefore, this study aimed at measuring the effects of police officer's personal dispositions on organizational citizenship behaviors, exploring the moderation effect of organization culture, and providing the basis with implications to promote the Organizational Citizenship Behaviors in the police Organization. By reviewing previous finding, Police Officer's Personal Dispositions were selected as independent variables, Organizational Citizenship Behaviors was selected as dependent variable. and Organizational Culture was selected as moderation variable. The result of analysis showed that The belief & The Norm influenced in Organizational Citizenship Behaviors(positive), and The Value in Organizational Citizenship Behaviors(negative). And The moderation effect was tested: The Value${\rightarrow}$Hierarchical Culture${\rightarrow}$Organizational Citizenship Behaviors(negative), The belief${\rightarrow}$Rational Culture${\rightarrow}$Organizational Citizenship Behaviors(negative)

  • The police is huge career civil service organization. In 1999, police organization employed 7,801 persons as a new hiring. The police had revised employment system several times for competent human resources. But, it is true that much improvements need yet for person's employment which equip eligibility. Specially, discussions need for many new hirings by duty police system abrogation. Career civil service system is impossible of dismissal after permanent appointment. It is true that competitive rate of police officer examination much rose. But it's not important about organization development in addition this unconnects with competent resources. Must change police officer employment system for organization's future development. This study proposed policy about improvement way of examination for service step, field training officer and appointment.

  • It is already recognized, the fleet crew of Korean Coast Guard(KCG) have come to perform a wide range of roles that they carry on duties on inferior working conditions. Therefore a research on leadership is seemed necessary to improve organizational effectiveness for them. This study is to examine whether leadership style with transformation is appropriate in organizational commitment for the fleet crew of KCG. In this study transformational leadership is fixed as independent variables and organizational commitment as dependent variables and also five factors as demographic characteristics. Intellectual stimulation is turned out to be the most influential factor in organizational objective(t=6.664, p=0.000) and continuance commitment(t=4.057, p=0.000), but individualized consideration are uninfluential factors concerning organizational commitment.

  • 이 연구에서는 경찰공무원의 PTSD 수준을 파악하고 조직적인 특성과 PTSD 수준의 관계를 살펴봄으로써 조직적 특성에 따른 PTSD에 대한 영향을 확인하고자 하였다. 조직적 특성에 따른 PTSD 수준의 차이를 살펴보기 위해 일원변량 분산분석(One-way ANOVA)을 실시하였다. 그 결과 근무관서와 근무부서별 요인에서 통계적으로 유의한 수준에서 차이가 발견되었다.

  • 2002년 9월 29일부터 제 14회 부산 아시안게임이 개최되며 안전하고 원활한 대회 운영을 위하여 대회 조직위원회, 정부기관 및 경찰에서 노력하고 있지만 실제 관광객이 필요할 때 경찰시설에 대한 정보를 제공할 수 있는 서비스가 부족하다. 이러한 관점에서 본 연구는 GIS를 이용하여 경기장, 숙박시설, 교통시설 등의 편의시설과 인근 경찰서를 쉽게 검색한 수 있고 편의시설간의 경로검색이 가능한 안내시스템을 구현하였다. 향후 GPS 기능을 추가하여 현재 위치에서도 인근 경찰서의 검색 및 경로검색이 가능하도록 하고자 한다.

  • 매년 20여명 정도의 경찰이 자살에 이르고 있다. 업무량이 많은 타 공무원에 비해서도 높은 수준이다. 경찰의 자살에는 여러 가지 원인이 있지만, 특히 조직의 폐쇄성으로 인해 개인문제로 치부하는 경향이 높다. 경찰의 치안환경은 더욱 안 좋아지고, 위험성에 노출될 확률이 과거에 비해 높아졌으며, 잔혹한 범죄를 마주해야 하는 상황이 많아짐에 따라 우울증이나 업무부담 등으로 인해 자살을 하게되는 경우를 볼 수 있다. 따라서 경찰의 자살을 예방하기 위해서는 심리부검을 도입하는 방안을 법적으로 검도하고, 자살유형들을 분석하여 그에 맞는 자살예방모형 개발하여 자살률을 감소시킬 수 있는 방안을 모색해보고자 한다.

The study of influence of policeman's personality to job satisfaction (경찰관의 성격 및 창의적 인성이 직무만족에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • It is possible to contribute to efficiency of police organization if policeman has their hob satisfaction. To effectively perform the service, it is important to a matter of outcome or satisfaction of duty. However, the study in this field is insufficient. In this study, the introduction is in the first chapter. Theoretical consideration in the second chapter, investigative analysis and argument in the third chapter and finally the conclusion in the forth chapter. In this study, according to analysis of position, personality show no differences and job satisfaction show more higher in police sergeant class. Also, the study shows that there is relationship between sociality and prudence and outcome of duty and occupational view in the correlation between personality and job satisfaction. Therefore, a sociable person influence affirmative occupational view and outcome of duty.
