Enrollment Elevation to the Chinese International Students in Local Universities in Korea (한국 지방대학의 중국유학생 유치·관리방안)

  • Since South Korea has problems existing in the respects of educational resources, environment, policies, etc., local universities of South Korea have been in an inferior position in the competition of overseas student enrollment. With increasingly deepening of cultural exchange between China and South Korea, due to geographic close relationship between the two countries, a great number of South Korean students go to China for study; also, Chinese students have increasingly become the important target of recruitment by all local universities in South Korea. In recent years, with rapid increase in the number of Chinese students in South Korea, the overseas student education system of South Korea has been progressed continuously. Compared with educational advantages of universities in European, American developed countries, and the capital region of South Korea, however there still exists a lot of problems in Chinese student recruitment by local universities. The major findings of the study can be summarized as follows. There exist not only some advantages but also some problems to be addressed urgently in Chinese student enrollment by South Korean local universities. How to build a distinctive recruitment environment suitable for Chinese students; and, how to develop a complete "one-stop" educational system suitable for study; and, how to make a strategy of development for Chinese students; and, how to perfect set up the overseas students' education management system; which are the remaining tasks to be solved for. To achieve a win-win for both overseas students and South Korean local universities, it is very important and urgent works to do for administrators of Chinese students in all local universities of South Korea.

A Study on the possibility of reuse foodwaste ferment as a bulking agent in livestock waste composting (음식물쓰레기의 발효생산물을 가축분뇨 퇴비화에서 수분조절제로의 활용가능성에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the possibility of reuse fermented foodwaste as a bulking agent in livestock waste and foodwaste composting. Aerobic composting device was added to the following sample : Foodwaste + Sawdust, Livestock feces+Sawdust, Foodwaste + Ferment, Livestock feces + Ferment. Temperature, pH, OM/N ratio, moisture, heavy metals, and microbes were measured in process of aerobic composting. The results of this study are following. 1. The composting period is determined in 16~24days, according to the change of temperature and OM/N ratio. 2. The salinity contents in compost of livestock waste and foodwaste ferment is about 0.5%, which can be solved the problems of salinity contents in foodwaste composting. 3. The proper ratio of livestock waste composting is 40% of cow feces to 60% of foodwaste ferment. 4. Processing expense of aerobic composting of foodwaste and sawdust is 40 won/kg composting expense of foodwaste and ferment is 30 won/kg. Fermented product composting can cut down the expense of bulking agent than others.

A study on the operation characteristics of oversized exhaust port applicable to double-deck tunnel (복층터널에 적용 가능한 화재 연동형 대배기구 운영 특성 분석 연구)

  • Recently, the number of underground road development projects has been increasing to solve traffic problems in the national capital region and metropolitan areas with intensified overcrowding, and there has been a tendency to plan underground roads by applying a double-deck tunnel technology that has advantages in constructability and economical efficiency. The double-deck tunnel has a structure where one excavation section is divided into two parts and used as up and down lines, and is mainly used as a road for small vehicles only due to its low floor height. In addition, due to the small cross-sectional area, it has characteristics different from those of general road tunnels in terms of ventilation and disaster prevention. In this regard, this study proposed an operational plan that applies an oversized exhaust system, which is one of semi-transverse ventilation systems, to small cross-sectional tunnels like double-deck tunnel with low floor height, and a comparative analysis between smoke exhaust characteristics according to the fire occurrence locations and oversized exhaust systems was conducted using the Fire Dynamics Simulator (FDS). The results showed that unlike uniform exhaust, intensive smoke exhaust using the oversized exhaust port maximized the delay effect of smoke diffusion and limited the smoke within 50 m above and below the fire point.

Research on the Structure of 4 Panel Comic Strips and Rhetoric Expression for the Education of Comic Contents: with of Kyunghyangsinmoon (만화콘텐츠 교육을 위한 네칸만화 구조와 수사법 연구: 경향신문 <장도리>를 중심으로)

  • We can say that there are several majors in the course of cartoon education of college; cartoon, manpyung, 4 panel comic strips, editorial cartoon, webtoon and so on. Among them, this study starts with concrete question; "How can we encourage students to understand 4 panel comic strips better in the educational course of 4 panel comic strips?" 4 panel comic strips divided into two groups, depending on the materials. The first is daily cartoon which depicts the emotion in daily life. The second is editorial cartoon which deals with the problems of society in the ironical and witty way. Judging from my own thoughts that it would be better in the understanding and analysis of structures to take editorial cartoon in which materials are confined to social problems, this study treats rhetoric expression and structures of 4 panel comic strips. Introduction, development, turn and conclusion of "Jangdori" on Kyunghyangsinmoon are good materials for this study. So, "Jangdori" is in the center of this study. The objective of this study is to provide knowledge in creating 4 panel comic strips with the understanding the area of 4 panel comic strips through the analysis of the rhetoric expression and structures of this field. Even though this study has a limit, no access to daily 4 panel comic strips, I hope that this study would be a little help in any places in which the education of 4 panel comic strips is needed as a part of a course of cartoon in college.

대형유통점과 중소유통점 간의 상생협력 -갈등이슈와 규제방안의 검토를 중심으로

  • 1997년 시장개방 이후 할인점을 중심으로 한 대형유통점은 급성장한 반면, 중소유통점은 계속 쇠퇴하고 있다. 대형유통점이 대도시에 이어 지방중소도시로 확대되면서 중소유통점은 대형유통점이 자신의 생존을 가장 크게 위협하고 있는 것으로 인식하고 있다. 이로 인해 중소유통점과 대형유통점간의 갈등이 확산되고 있는 실정이다. 갈등이 확산되면서 일부 지자체의 경우 이미 조례로 대형유통점에 대한 규제를 강화하였으며, 일부 의원들에 의해 대형 유통점에 대한 규제를 주 내용으로 하는 입법발의가 되고 있다. 중소유통점이 정부와 지자체에 요구하는 것은 크게 두 가지이다. 하나는 중소유통업을 살리기 위해 중소유통점에 대한 지원을 강화해 달라는 것이며, 또 다른 하나는 대형유통점에 대한 규제를 강화해 달라는 것이다. 반면, 대형유통점은 유통산업 전체의 건전한 발전과 선진화, 글로벌화를 위해 대형유통점에 대한 규제를 오히려 완화해 달라고 요구하고 있다. 대형유통점은 중소유통점의 경쟁력 강화를 목적으로 하는 정부나 지자체의 지원에는 반대하고 있지 않다. 정부와 지자체가 고려할 수 있는 정책대안은 크게 네 가지이다. 첫 번째 방안은 자유경쟁의 원리에 의해 정부가 시장에 개입하지 않는 것이다. 이 경우, 경쟁력이 약한 중소유통점은 계속 쇠퇴할 것이며 갈등이 심화되고 정부와 지자체에 대한 사회정치적 비난이 커질 우려가 있다. 두 번째 방안은 중소유통점의 경쟁력 강화를 위해 정부와 지자체가 이들에 대한 지원을 강화하는 것이다. 개별 중소유통점의 경영혁신 노력과 중소유통점간의 연대노력을 행 재정적으로 지원하는 것이 주된 내용이다. 중소유통사업자의 경영능력 배양을 목적으로 한 교육지원, 마케팅능력 제고, 협업화, 조직화, 정보화의 촉진, 공동사업에 대한 지원이 이에 해당될 것이다. 현재 정부와 다수의 지자체가 취하고 있는 방안이며 네 가지 대안 중 가장 합리적인 것으로 평가되고 있다. 세 번째 방안은 대형유통점과 중소유통점간의 상생협력을 정부와 지자체가 유도하는 것이다. 경쟁관계에 있는 두 당사자 간의 상생협력을 모색하는 것은 모양새는 아름답지만 실효성이 낮은 것이 문제이다. 전시성, 일회성 사업으로 끝나지 않도록 하여야 할 것이다. 네 번째 방안은, 정부와 지자체가 대형유통점에 대한 규제를 강화하는 것이다. 먼저, 대형유통점의 불공정거래행위에 대한 감시감독과 처벌을 강화하는 것은 당연한 것이다. 그러나 정부가 아닌 지자체가 이를 주도하기는 사실 어려움이 있다. 그리고 대형유통점이 영업행위를 영업시간제한에서부터 출점제한에 이르기까지 규제하는 건은 심사숙고하여야 한다. 대형유통점이 국가경제 및 지역사회에 미치는 영향이 부정적인가 긍정적인가에 대해 국내외 학계와 업계에서 여전히 많은 논란이 있기 때문이다. 정부와 지자체에 의한 시장개입은 반드시 필요한 경우에 한해 합당한 방법에 의해 이루어져야 한다. 대형유통점에 대한 규제는 지역사회에 미치는 영향을 다면적으로 평가한 결과에 근거하여 이루어져야 할 것이다. 대부분의 지자체는 체계적인 평가시스템과 객관적인 통계 자료를 갖고 있지 못한 실정이다. 향후 가장 시급한 과제는 시장개방 이후 지난 10년간 대형유통점이 지역사회에 미친 영향에 관한 광범위한 통계자료를 수집하고 이를 체계적으로 분석하여 정책방향을 올바르게 설정하는 것이라 할 수 있다.

Developing Evaluation Index and Item for Water Environment Improvement of Gyeongin ARA Waterway (경인 아라뱃길의 물환경 개선을 위한 오염원인 평가항목 및 지표 개발)

  • This research has developed the criteria and index for systematically and objectively assessing the quality of river water by fixing the various factors that affect Gyeongin ARA waterway's water quality through analysis with the Delphi Technique and analytic hierarchy program (AHP) Method. Based on the results, the highest criteria are, in order of importance, physical and environmental factors 28%, administrative factors 26%, natural fixed factors 26% and finally, cultural and social factors 20%. The three dimensions of the criteria show that for the internal physical and environmental factors, the most important are the loss of self-purification capacity, and the external factors are Gulpocheon and the sludge deposit due to Gyulhweon-weir the bridge. The facility factor in management was affected by the coagulation and waste water disposal facilities. The problem for the policy and institutional factors was seen in the regulatory area. The aquatic ecology/ point pollution source for the natural fixed factors show that it is due to the polluted water of Gulpo-cheon and the living environment/ non-point pollution source is shown through the inflow water from other rivers. Cultural and social factors show that the economical causes were due to the cargo and passenger flight operations and the external factors of having a lack of sewage treatment equipment have an importance effect. In order to estimate the order of priority through logical evidence and objectivity, future research must be continued on the evaluation indexes to measure the specific methodology and technique needed to improve the Gyeongin ARA Waterway.

국가간 기술혁신 파급경로에 관한 실증분석

  • 본 연구는 기술혁신파급경로를 결정하는 국가 간 무역역할에 대한 실증적인 분석을 목적으로 한다 이 연구목적을 위하여, 최근 자료인 1980년부터 2003년까지 15개 OECD국가를 대상으로 자국의 기술혁신을 결정하는 중요한 변수로 알려진 자국 R&D축적 및 무역대상국의 R&D축적자료를 구축하였으며, 이를 무역지수인 쌍방간에 수출 및 수입량을 경제규모로 나눈 가중지수를 이용하여 유입된 R&D축적량을 구축하였다. 또한 대상변수들의 기술혁신파급역할에 대하여 최근 논의되고 있는 비정상적 패널기법을 이용하여 분석하였다. 최근 제안되고 있는 비정상적 패널기법을 이용하여 국제 간에 기술혁신파급경로를 분석한 결과를 간단하게 요약하면, 다음과 같다. 첫째, 분석대상변수들은 비정상성을 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 그러나 장기적으로 분석대상변수들이 서로 균형상태를 나타내는 공적분관계에 있음을 알 수 있었다. 셋째, 국가 간에 기술혁신파급경로의 방향과 정도를 파악하기 위하여 패널 공적분계수를 추정하였으나, 설정함수형태에 따라서 여러 가지 상반된 실증결과가 나타났다. 따라서 기존 연구Coe et al., 1995, Keller, 1998, Kao, et al., 1999 그리고 Funk, 2001]의 분석결과 및 그 시사점들이 서로 다른 이유는 분석대상변수들의 선택차이뿐만 아니라, 기술혁신경로에 대한 설정함수형태에 따라서 서로 다른 분석결과가 나타날 수 있는 가능성을 보여준다. 본 연구에서 나타난 분석결과의 시사점을 보면, 국가 간에 기술혁신파급경로분석은 기술혁신파급을 결정하는 매개변수선정도 중요하지만, 결정된 설명변수들 사이에 어떤 기술혁신파급에 관한 연관관계가 존재하는지에 대한 실증분석 즉 파급경로분석도 매우 중요함을 보여준다. 이러한 파급경로분석에는 기존의 선형가정뿐만 아니라 비선형가정을 이용한 기술파급경로분석을 통한 시사점제안이 요구된다.관적인 시스템을 제공하는 것이다.가 생성된다. $M_{C}$에 CaC $l_2$를 첨가한 경우 $M_{C}$는 완전히 $M_{Cl}$ 로 전이를 하였다. $M_{Cl}$ 에 CaC $l_2$를 첨가하였을 경우에는 아무런 수화물의 변화는 발생하지 않았다. 따라서 CaS $O_4$.2$H_2O$를 CaC $O_3$및 CaC $l_2$와 반응시켰을 때의 AFm상의 안정성 순서는 $M_{S}$ < $M_{C}$< $M_{Cl}$ 로 된다.phy. Development of Examination Model of Weather Factors on Garlic Yield Using Big Data Analysis (빅데이터 분석을 활용한 마늘 생산에 미치는 날씨 요인에 관한 영향 조사 모형 개발)

  • The development of information and communication technology has been carried out actively in the field of agriculture to generate valuable information from large amounts of data and apply big data technology to utilize it. Crops and their varieties are determined by the influence of the natural environment such as temperature, precipitation, and sunshine hours. This paper derives the climatic factors affecting the production of crops using the garlic growth process and daily meteorological variables. A prediction model was also developed for the production of garlic per unit area. A big data analysis technique considering the growth stage of garlic was used. In the exploratory data analysis process, various agricultural production data, such as the production volume, wholesale market load, and growth data were provided from the National Statistical Office, the Rural Development Administration, and Korea Rural Economic Institute. Various meteorological data, such as AWS, ASOS, and special status data, were collected and utilized from the Korea Meteorological Agency. The correlation analysis process was designed by comparing the prediction power of the models and fitness of models derived from the variable selection, candidate model derivation, model diagnosis, and scenario prediction. Numerous weather factor variables were selected as descriptive variables by factor analysis to reduce the dimensions. Using this method, it was possible to effectively control the multicollinearity and low degree of freedom that can occur in regression analysis and improve the fitness and predictive power of regression analysis.

The Experience of Cancer Survivor's Return to Everyday Life (암 생존자의 일상생활 복귀 경험)

  • This study was undertaken to identify ways that enable a successful comeback to everyday life and improvement in the quality of life, by understanding the experiences of cancer survivors in returning to everyday life. Totally, 19 people diagnosed with complete cure after 5 years of cancer treatment, were recruited for the study. Data was collected through in-depth interviews from January 18 to February 25, 2017. One-time interviews took 90 to 120 minutes, and data analysis was achieved by applying the grounded theory. The central phenomenon of 'reality that cannot be escaped' and 'uncertain reality that cannot know tomorrow' was attributed to the causal conditions 'hard reality', 'physical exhaustion', 'psychological exhaustion' and 'economic exhaustion'. Depending on context conditions such as 'lack of family support', 'shift to a vulnerable working class', 'insufficient support system', 'hope for the societal support system', 'daunted gender', 'prejudice against cancer/cancer patients', 'information on life after rare full healing'. The strategy for a successful return was influenced by intervention conditions such as 'robust family fence' and 'effective cancer insurance', which resulted in 'building a new life' or 'enduring'. We conclude that for a successful return to daily lives, cancer survivors require comprehensive information, health and social-welfare interventions.

Research of Performance Interference Control Technique for Heterogeneous Services in Bigdata Platform (빅데이터 플랫폼에서 이종 서비스간 성능 간섭 현상 제어에 관한 연구)

  • In the Hadoop-based Big Data analysis model, the data movement between the legacy system and the analysis system is difficult to avoid. To overcome this problem, a unified Big Data file system is introduced so that a unified platform can support the legacy service as well as the analysis service. However, major challenges in avoiding the performance degradation problem due to the interference of two services remain. In order to solve this problem, we first performed a real-life simulation and observed resource utilization, workload characteristics and I/O balanced level. Based on this analysis, two solutions were proposed both for the system level and for the technical level. In the system level, we divide I/O path into the legacy I/O path and the analysis I/O path. In the technical level, we introduce an aggressive prefetch method for analysis service which requires the sequential read. Also, we introduce experimental results that shows the outstanding performance gain comparing the previous system.
