  • These experiments were carried out to study the factors affecting quality and textural characteristics in the preparation of artificial gluten meat (AGM). These results were compared with the raw beef on its properties. Effects of amounts of ingredients on properties of AGM were summarized as follows: 1. On effects of amounts of ingredients, walnut was one of the most factors on the color in AGM The more increased the amounts of walnut, the more decreased hardness, cohesiveness, chewiness, and the more increased springiness and water holding capacity. Therefore, the 30% of walnut added sample became similar to raw beef. 2. The kinds and amounts of oil and mixing methods did not affect on color, shear force, and chewiness, but did on cohesiveness significantly 3. The more increased the salt levels, the better were the hardness and chewiness, but shear force and water holding capacity were not affected. 2% of salt added sample approached to raw beef in hardness, springiness, cohesiveness and chewiness. 4. The more onion levels increased, the more hardness and chewiness decreased.

  • In order to index exactly moving objects(vehicle, mobile phone, PDA, etc.) in a mobile database, continuous updates of their locations arc inevitable as well as time-consuming. In this paper, we propose a spatial indexing method of moving objects for the efficient mobile map services. In detail, we analyze the characteristics of both the method to re-index all the objects after each time period and the method to update immediately the locations on reporting their locations. We also newly propose a bucket split method using the properties of moving objects in order to minimize the number of database updates. The experiments conducted on the environments of moving object show that the proposed indexing method is appropriate to map services for mobile devices.

  • The comparison of metabolic pathway in different species is important in detecting a missing gene. There are many visualizations for metabolic pathway. However, Biologists need not only a simple path but also a visualization for comparison. K-Viz is a tool for visualization of metabolic pathway based on KEGG. To compare pathways in different species, K-Viz uses different color for path such as PathComp in KEGG and shows the table of path in pathway. K-Viz helps biologists to understand the comparison of metabolic pathways in different species.

  • 그래프 G의 쌍형 다대다 k-서로소민 경로 커버 (k-DPC)는 k개의 서로 다른 소스 정점과 싱크 정점 쌍을 연결하며 그래프에 있는 모든 정점을 지나는 k개의 서로소인 경로 집합을 말한다. 2-차원 $m{\times}n$ 토러스는 길이가 각각 m과 n인 두 사이클 $C_m$$C_n$의 곱으로 정의되는 그래프이다. 이 논문에서는 고장 정접이나 에지가 하나인 $m{\times}n$ 이분 토러스(짝수 m,n ${\geq}$4)에는, 정점 고장이 있고 소스나 싱크 중에 고장 정점과 같은 색을 가진 정점이 오직 하나 존재하거나 혹은 정점 고장이 없고 에지 고장이 하나 존재하면서 둘은 흰색 정점이고 둘은 검정색 정점이면 항상 두 소스-싱크 쌍을 잇는 쌍형 다대다 2-DPC가 존재 힘을 보인다.

  • These experiments were carried out to study the factors affecting quality and textural characteristics in the preparation of artificial gluten meat (AGM). Effects of amounts of ingredients on properties of AGM were summarized as follows: 1. The more amounts of water increased, the higher L and b values became, and AGM, therefore, became bright and yellow in color. The more increased the amount of water, the more decreased shear force, hardness and chewiness, but the water holding capacity increased. The 100% of water added sample approached to raw beef in L value, $\Delta$0E, hardness and chewiness. 2. The mixing ratio of walunt and com oil more affected on color than on texture, and the proper ratio was 30% of walunt and 10% of oil. 3. In the case of interactions of oil and water, water amounts affected more on color, shear force, chewiness and the water holding capacity than on oil. AGM mixed with the ratio of 10% of oil and 100% of water approached to raw beef.

Environmentally-friendly Control Methods and Forecasting the Hatching Time Lycorma delicatula (Hemiptera: Fulgoridae) in Jeonnam Province (전남지역에서 꽃매미 부화시기 예측과 친환경 방제방법)

  • This study was conducted to predict the hatching time of eggs of Lycorma delicatula, to select an effective environmentally-friendly agriculture material (EFAM) and to evaluate the attraction effect of brown sticky traps for controling of Lycorma delicatula nymph and adults. Eggs hatched 55.9, 26.8, 21.6 days after incubation at 15, 20, $25^{\circ}C$ with 14L:10D condition and the hatching rates of egg were 61.9, 57.8, 30.4%, respectively. At high temperature conditions, egg development periods were shorter and the hatching rate was lower. The relationship between temperature and developmental rate was expressed by the linear equation Y=0.0028X-0.0228, $R^2$=0.9561. The low temperature threshold of eggs was $8.14^{\circ}C$ and the thermal constant required to reach larva was 355.4 DD. According to this relationship, the mean estimated hatching date was $22^{nd}$ May. The effective EFAM was natural plant extract, sophora extract, derris extract to nymph and natural plant extract, pyrethrum extract, sophora extract to adult. Among three colors of sticky trap : brown, blue and yellow, the brown sticky trap was the most attractive to nymphs and adults of L. delicatula over a 2 weeks trial period. It suggested that the brown sticky trap could be a very useful and environment-friendly control method for nymphs and adults of L. delicatula.

회화에 표현된 한국전통 복색(服色)의 배색특성에 관한 연구

  • 색상특성은 각 계열별로 차이가 있었으나 전반적 으로 고명도.저채도 중심으로 황색계열과 청색계열 은 고명도 위주의 분포특성을 보였다. 이어 반하여 적색계열은 비교적 색조의 영역이 넓었으며 고채도 의 분포특성이 두드러졌다. 자색계열은 저명도.중 채도, 녹색계열은 고명도.저채도 중심이었다. 남.녀복의 색조유형으로서 여복에서는 white보다는 tone 중심의 색조특성이 나타났으며. 남복에서는 white를 제외한 tint의 색조유형이 많았다. 이는 당시대인의 백색지향 의식을 대변하는 것으로 사료된다. 음양오행론의 배색원리에 의해 검토한 결과 여복 은 상생이 남복보다 낮게 집계되었으며, 반대로 파버 비렌의 색채조화의 배색원리에 의한 검토 철과는 남 복보다 여복의 적용수치가 높았다. 이것은 감각적인 색채조화 보다는 의례적인 성향이 좀 더 징한 남복이 서구의 색채조화의 척도에 적합하지 않은 결과로 추측된다. 전통복의 배색특성은 남녀가 매우 다른 양상을 보 이고 있었다. 여복의 기본 복식구조인 저고리/치마 는 백/청색계열, 백/황색계열과의 배색이 중심으로서 면적대비 및 명도대비에 의한 조화가 이루어지고 있었다. 반면에 저고리의 배색은 유채색과 백색계열 의 배색으로 채도대비의 성향이 강했다. 남복은 황/백색계열. 백/청색계열로 명도의 차가 크지 않았다. 포/띠의 의복 구성에 있어서는 흑색 또 는 적.자색 등의 세조대(細條帶)로 인해 채도대비, 면적대비, 명도대비의 배색효과를 찾아볼 수 있었다. 이상과 같은 분석결과를 통한 한국인의 색사용의 특정은 복식의 전면에 등장하는 백색지향과 음양오 행설을 그 배경으로 하고 있다. 백색위주의 색사용은 인공미가 배제된 자연미의 추구에 기인한 것으로 토착화된 한국의 색으로 볼 수 있다. 백색은 여러 색을 통합하고 배색된 색채착화된 한국의 색으로 볼 수 있다. 백색은 여러 색을 통합하고 배색된 색채들을 담하게 만드는 것이 특징 으로 한국전통 복식의 배색특성을 주도하고 있었다. 마지막으로 본 연구는 회화자료를 근거한 것으로 풍속화의 변색 및 탈색에 의해 당시대의 정확한 색채규명이 어려우며, 실물작품이 아닌 도판을 통한 측 색으로 색의 오차가 발생할 수 있음을 연구의 한계 점으로 언급하고자 한다.

Seed Color Classification Method for Common Bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) Using Imagery Data and an HTML Color Chart (이미지 데이터와 HTML 색도표를 이용한 강낭콩(Phaseolus vulgaris L.)의 종피색 분포확인 및 그 응용방법 모색)

  • In the present study, the seed color of 200 common bean genetic resources was analyzed and located on the HTML color chart to classify these resources according to color characteristics. This classification method predicts the components of seed and may serve as a new method for efficiently using secured genetic resources. The imagary data of common bean exhibiting various seed colors were expressed using the HTML color chart. According to the proposed classification method, the seed color was distributed in seven categories: yellow-green, yellow, brown, red, white, gray, and indigo. In addition, the distribution of each seed color was according to its concentration. The distribution by concentration was the highest for red, whereas the distribution of gray and yellow-green was not concentration-dependent. As the dominant pigments based on color distribution, chlorophylls in yellow-green; carotenoids in yellow; and anthocyanins in brown, red, white, gray, and indigo significantly affected seed color. When expressed objectively, seed colors can be applied to the systematic management, breeding, and cultivation of genetic resources and can be useful for marketing or developing products of desired colors. This method can also be applied to other crops.

Effect of Bi and Zr addition on yellow colour properties of environment-friendly ceria-based pigments (비스무스와 지르코늄 첨가를 통한 세리아계 친환경 노란색 안료 특성에 관한 연구)

  • Inorganic pigments have been received a great attention for various applications including paint, glazed ceramic ink, art tile, and building exterior due to their excellent thermal and chemical stability. Traditionally, the compositions of $PbCrO_4$, CdS and CdSe have been widely used as a yellow inorganic pigment. However, the use of these compositions has been restricted in recent years, because they contain harmful elements such as Cd, Cr, Pb and Se. In this study, new environment-friendly ceria-based pigment was synthesized using solid state reaction. Crystal structure and morphology of the obtained $Ce_{1-x}Zr_xBi_yO_{2-y/2}$ yellow pigment were analyzed using XRD and SEM, respectively. Substitutional effect of Zr and Bi on the pigment color was analyzed using UV-vis. spectrophotometer and CIE $L^*a^*b^*$ analysis. The crystal structure of the obtained pigments was dependent on the calcination temperature. The color characteristics and absorption band of the pigments were dependent on the calcination temperature and Zr, Bi contents. As a result, all the obtained yellow pigments showed the effective absorption ranged from ultraviolet to visible light, and $Ce_{0.44}Zr_{0.36}Bi_{0.20}O_{0.19}$ (x = 0.36, y = 0.20) pigment showed the most brilliant yellow color.

  • LED (Light Emitting Diode) 조명 기술이 친환경 조명 기술로 떠오르고 있다. LED는 기존의 백열등, 형광등 조명에 비해 에너지 효율이 좋아, 최근 우리나라에서도 가로등, 신호 등을 LED 조명으로 교체하고 있다. 뿐만 아니라 건물의 외장이나 전시회 등에 사용되는 LED 시스템의 경우, 가격적인 측면보다 성능적인 측면이 더 중요시 되고 있으며, 이러한 고급조명용 LED 시스템에는 색을 관리 및 제어해주는 장치 즉, MCU의 탑재가 일반적이다. 본 논문에서는 LED를 이용한 조명용 백색광원의 색좌표 및 색온도 제어가 가능한 디지털 파워플랫폼을 개발하고 그 성능을 측정하였다.
