As the trade linkages and the financial relationship between China and Korea grow stronger, China's influence on Korea is also growing larger. Therefore, it is meaningful to examine key features of Chinese monetary policy operations and the current situation, and to analyze the transmission mechanism of China's monetary policy shocks onto the Korea economy. China's monetary policy shocks can have an impact on the Korea economy through the trade, financial and oil-price channels. In the trade channel, an expansionary Chinese monetary policy can increase Korea's exports of intermediate goods to China under the vertical trade structure, via the vertical trade integration effect. Meanwhile, the expenditure switching effect and the income demand effect show no statistical significance. In the financial and oil-price channels, expansionary Chinese monetary policy shocks can decrease the interest rate and increase both stock prices and the consumer price index in Korea through changes in global portfolio capital flows, interest rates, and raw material prices.
Schema clustering is important as a prerequisite to the integration of XML schemas. This paper presents an efficient method for clustering XML schemas. The proposed method first computes similarities among schemas. The similarity is defined by the size of the common structure between two schemas under the assumption that the schemas with less cost to be integrated are more similar. Specifically, we extract one-to-one matchings between paths with the largest number of corresponding elements. Finally, a hierarchical clustering method is applied to the value of similarity. Experimental results with many XML schemas show that the method has peformed better compared with previous works, resulting in a Precision of $99\%$ and a rate of clustering of $93\%$ in average.

This paper presents a fast and scalable re-routing algorithm that adapts to dynamically changing networks. The proposed algorithm integrates Dijkstra's shortest path algorithm with the genetic algorithm. Dijkstra's algorithm is used to define the predecessor array that facilitates the initialization process of the genetic algorithm. After that, the genetic algorithm re-searches the optimal path through appropriate genetic operators under dynamic traffic situations. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm produces routes with less traveling time and computational overhead than pure genetic algorithm-based approaches as well as the standard Dijkstra's algorithm for large-scale networks.
XML can describe a wide range of data, from regular to irregular and from flat to deeply nested. Thus, XML is rapidly emerging as the do facto standard for the Web document format since XML supports an efficient data exchange and integration. Also, to retrieve the data represented by XML, several XML query languages are proposed. XML query languages such as XPath and XQuery use path expressions to traverse irregularly structured data which comprise B% elements. To evaluate path expressions, various path indexes are proposed. However, traditional path indexes are constructed by utilizing only the XML data structure. Therefore, in this paper, we propose an adaptive path index which utilizes the XML data structure as well as query workloads. To improve the query performance, the adaptive path index proposed by this paper manages the frequently used paths and the structural summary of the XML data using a hash tree and a graph structure. Experimental results show that the adaptive path index improves the query performance typically 2 to 69 times compared with the existing indexes.

Many problems can be formulated in terms nf graphs and thus solved by graph-theoretic algorithms. This paper is concerned with finding paths between nodes over the distributed and overlapped graphs. The proposed method allows multiple agents to cooperate to find paths without merging the distributed graphs. For each graph there is a designated agent which is charged of providing path-finding service for hot graph and initiating the path-finding tasks of which path starts from the graph. The proposed method earlier on constructs an abstract graph so-called viewgraph for the distributed overlapped graphs and thus enables to extract the information about how to guide the path finding over the graphs. The viewgraph is shared by all agents which determine how to coordinate other agents for the purpose of finding paths. Each agent maintains the shortest path information among the nodes which are placed in different overlapped subgraphs of her graph. Once an agent is asked to get a path from a node on her graph to another node on another's graph, she directs other agents to provide the necessary information for finding paths.

Seoul Metropolitan Urban Railroad has an undecided route that does not estimate the passenger transportation route. For this reason, the fare of the urban railroad is calculated by the assumption that passengers pass through the minimum distance. Therefore, if a transfer station on the urban railroad is added, the trip shortest distance could be decreased and the fare also reduced. In this study, this phenomenon defines the fare paradox(Shin, 2022) and estimates the impact of the fare paradox by opening the GTX-A. For this purpose, a scenario before and after the opening of the GTX-A has been established, and an additional fare has been estimated by proportional planning of the Seoul Metropolitan Integrated Distance Based Fare Policy. Fare Paradox was analyzed to about 0.024 % of daily income. It is expected to be used as a plan to determine a rate policy, such as the establishment of a GTX-A, B, C, D, and a light rail line.
Exposure to hazardous substances occurs through multiple pathways. Aggregated risk assessment, which includes all potential exposure pathways to a single toxicant, is necessary to prevent exposure to harmful substances. We aimed to estimate cadmium and lead exposure through various media, such as food, water, air, smoking, cosmetics, and female hygiene products. This study covered 10,733 subjects from the Seventh Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey(2016, 2017). Dietary exposure was estimated using 24-hour recall data. For water and inhalational exposure, regional variations were considered. Water was classified as tap, bottled, and public water. Inhalational exposure was estimated using the '2014 Time Use Survey' based on daily lifestyle and social status. The frequency and volume of cosmetic usage were randomly approximated by sex and age. Post-menarcheal and premenopausal women were assumed to use feminine hygiene products. Non-carcinogenic aggregated risks were estimated using the Aggregate Risk Index from EPAs and the Total Exposure Hazard Index from Korean government guidelines. For carcinogenic risk assessment, excessive cancer risk was estimated. Ingestion, especially food, was the major route for both cadmium and lead exposure. Smoking was also associated with high cadmium exposure. Exposure to lead from cosmetics was remarkable but not critical. In aggregate risk assessments, median cadmium and lead exposure did not exceed the reference value. Sex, age, smoking status, and income affected exposure levels, unlike to regional variations.
