The Quality Properties of Self Consolidating Concrete Using Lightweight Aggregate (경량골재를 사용한 자기충전 콘크리트의 품질 특성)

  • This paper presents the development of self-consolidating concrete (SCC) using lightweight aggregates. SCC using Lightweight aggregate properties have been evaluated in terms of flowability, segregation resistance and filling capacity of fresh concrete as per the standards of the Japanese Society of Civil Engineering (JSCE). The measurement of the mechanical properties of hardened SCC using lightweight aggregate, including compressive strength, splitting tensile strength, elastic moduli and density, as well as its dry shrinkage and carbonation properties were also carried out. The characteristics of SCC using lightweight aggregate at the fresh state showed that as the use of the lightweight aggregate, the flowability improves without exception of Mix No. 9 but the segregation resistance tends to decrease without exception of Mix No. 3, 4 and 5. The 28 days compressive strength of the SCC using lightweight aggregate was found to be 30 MPa or higher. The relationship between the compressive strength and the splitting tensile strength was found to be similar to the expression presented by CEB-FIP, and the relationship between the compressive strength and the elastic moduli was found to be similar to the expression suggested by ACI 318-08 which takes into consideration the density of concrete. The density of the SCC using lightweight aggregate decreased by up to 26% compared to that of the control SCC. Also, The dry shrinkage and carbonation depth of the SCC using lightweight aggregate increased compared to that of the control SCC.

소형 경량의 위성용 초고주파신호분배기 개발

  • 위성용 초고주파신호분배기(이하, RFDU)는 위성에 장착된 두 개의 안테나와 두 개의 송수신기 사이에 위치하게 되며, 지상으로부터 송신된 제어신호와 위성의 상태 정보 신호를 전달/분배하는 RF 신호 경로를 제공하게 된다. 기존의 위성용 RFDU의 구조는 cavity 형태의 필터로 구성된 diplexer와 hybrid RF coupler 및 저역통과필터 들이 서로 SMA 케이블로 연결되어 있는 부피가 큰 구조이다. 또한 차세대 위용용 부품들은 위성을 경제성 등을 고려하여 소형/경량화 개발이 요구되고 있으며, 특히 위성용 S 대역 TC/TM 통신링크에서 RFDU와 트랜스폰더는 소형 경량화를 위해 단일 unit으로 개발되고 있다. 이에 따라 기존의 RFDU 또한 전기적 성능을 유지하면서 소형/경량화 개량 개발이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 기존 RFDU의 소형 경량화를 위해 PCB와 housing을 이용하여 cavity 필터특성을 갖는 diplxer를 개발/구현 하였으며, PCB 페턴을 통한 내부 인터페이스용 SMA 케이블 제거 등을 적용하였다. 또한 microstrip 타입의 저역통과필터을 적용하여 소형 경량화를 이루었으며, 새로이 개발된 소형/경량의 RFDU는 전기적으로 기존의 그것과 유사하거나 동등한 특성을 갖는 것을 확인하였으며, 기존 RFDU 대비 무게 및 부피는 60 % 이상 감소하여 소형/경량화 개발을 성공하였다. 본 개발 결과물은 향후 차세대 위성용 RFDU 개발을 위한 기초 자료로 활용할 것이다.

  • The wall system has been also tending to shift from existing concrete wall to variable lightweight wall according to increasing use of column structure system in apartment construction. Therefore, wall needs certain amount of strength which also means the standard measurement of resistance against loading of wall attachments is needed. Nevertheless, there currently aren't enough researches of related standards for such measurement. For such reason, the research would be used as baseline data to development for test methods of load resistance about attachments on the lightweight wall, that presented improvements in the apparatus and maximum loads for domestic circumstances by researching current tests.

  • Nowadays, Light railway system is attracted public attention as solution for metropolitan traffic congestion. But it is difficult to decide an appropriate light railway system. It is especially hard in the Seoul metropolitan to decide an appropriate system, because there are many factors that must considered. So we research application status of light railway system that is scheduled or promoted in the Korea and the foreign nations. And we selected systems by types of city. In this paper, we divided into 6 types of city through factor analysis and cluster. And we considered various factor such as technology, transportation, environment etc that used previous research and feasibility study. To determine the priority among the factors, AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) was applied as a method for multi-standard decision method.

Punching Shear Behavior of High-strength Lightweight Concrete Slab Under Concentrated Load (집중하중을 받는 고강도 경량콘크리트 바닥판의 펀칭전단 거동)

  • Because of the advantage of light weight, lightweight concrete is frequently applied to long-span bridges and high-rise buildings. In the country, there is not enough experience for the long-span bridges using lightweight concrete. This paper presents results of an experimental study on the punching shear strength of high-strength lightweight concrete slabs. Four test slabs are fabricated using high-strength lightweight concrete and normalweight concrete and at the center of the test slabs, simulated wheel load is applied until failure. The compressive strengths of lightweight concrete and normalweight concrete are 47MPa and 32MPa, respectively. The test results show the failure mode of all specimens are punching shear and the behaviors of high-strength lightweight concrete slabs are very similar to that of normalweight concrete slabs. Based on the test results, it is discussed the safety and serviceability of high-strength lightweight concrete bridge decks.

Structural Safety of Lightweight Valve Disc by Topology Optimization Design based on Computational Simulation (전산 시뮬레이션 기반의 위상최적설계에 의한 경량 밸브디스크의 구조적 안전성)

  • In this study, flow and structural computational analysis were performed to investigate the structural safety of the lightweight butterfly valve disc designed by topology optimization. After flow analysis, as the opening angle increased, the flow coefficient increased non-linearly and showed a gentle slop. When the opening angle was 12 degree, the cavitation could be predicted. After FE analysis, all FE von-Misses stresses of the lightweight disc were smaller than the yield strength of the material, and all FE maximum deformations were also smaller than the conservative deformation of the previous study. Ultimately, it was confirmed that the structural safety of the lightweight valve disc based on computational analysis is effective.

  • This study aims to provide information for the design and use of structural lightweight concrete (SLWC) for floating concrete structures in a marine environment. An experimental program was set up and comprehensive experimental campaign were carried out to determine SLWC mix proportions that can satisfy specified concrete strength, density, and slump values all of them were determined from previous research. Comparisons with previous SLWC mix designs that have been utilized for actual floating concrete structures were made. Key aspects needed to be considered regarding to the use of SLWC for floating marine concrete structures were discussed.

NIST 경량암호 공모사업 동향

  • 최근 사물인터넷 환경이 발달하면서 센서 네트워크, 헬스케어, 분산 제어 시스템, 가상 물리 시스템 등의 다양한 분야의 산업이 부상하고 있다. 이를 위한 소형 컴퓨팅 기기가 보편화되고 있지만, 해당 기기들은 제한된 리소스라는 공통의 약점을 가지고 있다. 제한된 환경에서 중요한 데이터들을 보호하기 위해서는 많은 리소스가 필요한 기존의 암호 알고리즘보다 적은 리소스로도 운용할 수 있는 경량암호 알고리즘이 필요하다. NIST에서는 2015년부터 제한된 환경에 적합한 경량암호 알고리즘을 표준화하기 위한 공모사업을 진행 중이다. 현재 2라운드 과정을 거치고 있으며 총 32종의 알고리즘에 대한 안전성, 효율성 분석이 이루어지고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 NIST 경량암호 공모사업 1, 2라운드 후보 알고리즘들을 특징별로 분석하고, 몇 가지 알고리즘들을 심층적으로 살펴본다. 또한 향후 전망과 계속 진행될 공모사업의 타임라인을 제시한다.

A Study on the Development for the Flame Retardant Lightweight Concrete Panels in Nonbearing (비 내력벽 부위의 난연성 경량 콘크리트패널 개발에 관한 연구)

  • 건물의 대형화 고층화로 고강도 콘크리트의 사용이 증대되면서 고강도 콘크리트의 화재 시 폭열 대책이 필요하다. 본 연구는 전국 화력발전소에서 매립되는 Bottom Ash와 EPS를 재활용하여 건축소재의 내화기준에 만족하고 자원순환 소재의 새로운 개발방향을 제시하고자 난연성이 가미된 경량콘크리트 패널을 개발하여 그 난연 성능 및 벽체로서의 성능을 실험하였다. 실험은 Bottom Ash를 활용한 코팅 경량골재를 2개 Type으로 개발하여 단위중량, Flow, 압축강도, 열전도율, 부착강도, 건조수축, 흡수율, 난연 성능을 평가하였다. 그 결과 대부분의 데이터가 KS기준에 맞게 나왔으며, 난연 성능 또한 1급으로 나왔다. 이로서 폐자재인 Bottom Ash와 EPS를 재활용하여 화재 시 난연성능이 확보됨은 물론 국가성장핵심 사업인 녹색성장에 걸맞은 새로운 경량콘크리트 패널을 개발할 수 있게 되었다.
