The essence of meridian collateral and acupoints is an overall physiologic unction with the level of multiple unctional states. However it is a pity that until present, so in this paper described about some experimental results of physical reactions of meridian and acupoints. In order to verify meridian pathway and channel theory of energy in body. It is suppose that substance of meridian is pathway channel of the meridian materials. In basic examination, It was analyzed spectrum of reflection waves after beat or continuos vibrate to meridian point and non-meridian point meridian line and non-meridian line. The characteristics of reflection waves similar to flow channel in hydrodynamic. So it be able to suggest that the meridian is pathway and channel in body.

Four strains of Pseudomonas putida (NAH), Pseudomonas sp.(TOL), Achromobacter xylosoxidans, and Alcaligenes sp. were compared with their degradative capability of aromatic compounds. All of the bacterial strains were utilized catechol as a sole carbon source for growth, but signigicantly different in degradative properties for 5 other aromatic compounds. Catechol 2, 3-dioxygenase gene from P. putida (NAH) has been cloned and expressed in E. coli. The DNA clone designated pCNU101 contains NAH-derived 6 Kb insert and its physical map was characterized. A subclone (pCNU106) for the catechol dioxygenase gene in pCNU101 contained 2.0kb-DNA insery fragmented by HpaI and ClaI.

Objective : This study is achieved to know the way that we can use metabolomics for the scientific research of Korean medicine. Results : We elucidate that metabolomics can be contributed to four ways for objectification of Korean medicine 1. Diagnosis of BeunJungLonChi(辯證論治). 2. Application toward Personalized medicine. 3. Quantification of Herbal medicine. 4. Evaluation of efficacy/safety for Korean medicine formulation Conclusion : Metabolomics opens up a new opportunity to reinvestigate Korean medicine from holistic perspective. Furthermore, Metabolomics is expected to provide effective method in research of acupuncture and meridian.

본 논문에서는 한의학의 관점에서 몸과 마음의 상호작용에 대한 이론에 기반하여 사용자의 주의를 파악하기 위해 필요한 생체 신호의 센싱방법을 제안한다. 생체 신호는 음양오행의 각 부분의 반응을 살필 수 있는 체표의 자극 반응점인 경혈점에서 GSR을 이용하여 측정한다. 제안된 방법은 기존의 서양의학에 기반한 생체 신호 특징 분석을 다른 관점에서 해석할 수 있는 틀을 마련한다. 추출된 생체신호는 감정, 의도 분석에 활용될 수 있으며 추후 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서 인간과 컴퓨터간의 원활한 상호작용을 위한 개인화된 인터페이스 제공에 사용될 수 있다.

The paper presents the wireless wind chill temperature measurement system that is composed of IEEE 802.15.4 standard wireless communication devices, hot film anemometer and serial communication temperature sensor. It's sometimes very difficult for a person, who lives in a high-rise apartment, to see the outside wind chill temperature due to harsh outside weather. The wind chill temperature is calibrated from an air velocity and air temperature. IEEE 802.15.4 standard wireless communication is ZigBee compatible, and consumes low power in communication. Under the air temperature of 5 $^{\circ}C$ and air velocity ranging from 0 to 50 km/h, the experimental result of wind chill temperature shows good accuracy within 5%.

In this paper, a remote submersion warning system based on multi-mode optical fiber(MMF) sensors and a wireless sensor network(WSN) are proposed. To improve the reliability and stability of the sensors, the dual optical fiber sensors combined to the optical coupler are demonstrated. A slave zigbee as a wireless sensor module was used as a platform to monitor and record the signal from the MMF sensors and then transmits these information to a master zigbee wirelessly. The monitoring system running the $LabVIEW^{(R)}$ software was connected to the internet to support the short message service(SMS) through extensible markup language(XML) web service. No matter where the managers are, they can always receive the real-time remote-monitoring data for safety check.

Objectives : This report details on a single case of Korean Medical treatments for the angular deformity of wrist fracture with disuse osteopenia. Methods : A 74-year-old lady with angular deformity of wrist fracture with disuse osteopenia was treated by Korean Medical therapies including manual acupuncture with electroacupuncture, pharmacopuncture, and chuna, twice daily for 41 days. Visual analogue scale for pain and range of motion were evaluated. Results : 1. Wrist pain decreased by Korean medical treatments over 41 days. 2. As a result of evaluation by visual analogue scale, the score marked from 6 to 3. 3. ROM of wrist joint increased from $0^{\circ}$ to $10^{\circ}$. Conclusions : Korean medical treatments helped symptom improvement in a patient with angular deformity of wrist fracture with disuse osteopenia.

Objectives : This study was conducted to explain the locations of GV24, BL4, GB15, GB13, and ST8 from classic literatures. Methods : 17 classics of acupuncture and moxibustion literature - 『Huangdimingtangjingjixiao』, 『Zhenjiujiayijing』, 『Huangdimingtangjiujing』, 『Beijiqianjinyaofang』, 『Qianjinyifang』, 『Waitaimiyaofang』, 『Ishimpo』, 『Taipingshenghuifang』, 『Tongrenshuxuezhenjiutujing』, 『Zhenjiuzishengjing』, 『Shisijingfahui』, 『Zhenjiujuying』, 『Yixuerumen』, 『Zhenjiudacheng』, 『Leijingtuyi』, 『Chimgukyungheombang』 and 『Yizongjinjian』 - were reviewed and compared. Results : Location of GV24 was on the midpoint of the anterior hairline before Song Dynasty, but changed to 0.5 cun directly above the midpoint of the anterior hairline after Song Dynasty. The locations of BL4, GB13 and ST8 varied among literatures. Conclusions : The locations of GV24, BL4, GB15, GB13 and ST8 were different from the standard acupoint locations, and were not consistent in 17 acupuncture and moxibustion classic literatures.

Objectives : This study reports changes in liver function test (LFT) after Korean Medicine treatment in patients admitted to Korean Medicine hospital with abnormal LFT. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between the Korean medicine treatment and abonormal LFT to verify safety of Korean medicine treatment by analyzing index of LFT. Methods : From Oct. 2015 to Sep. 2020, the result was analyzed for 91 patients admitted to the Pohang Korean Medicine Hospital and received Korean Medicine treatment. Asparate aminotransferase (AST), alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and total bilirubin (TB) were compared at admission and discharge. Results : Comparison between admission and discharge LFT showend AST decreased from 52.72±25.08 to 43.2±19.20, ALT from 70.85±32.40 to 62.13±29.40, and TB from 1.33±0.37 to 0.81±0.29. Conclusions : After Korean medicine treatment, AST, ALT, and TB decreased compared with the values at admission. Further studies on safety of Korean Medicine treatment are warranted.

Four Properties and five Flavors of Drugs is interpreted by adaptation of human body to the environmental theory(天人相應). The Structural model of the body is compared with sky, earth, sun and moon (天, 地, 日, 月). The natural changes of the four seasons give rise to that of Four Properties and five Flavors of Drugs. On equal terms it is happened in our body. On this study we can draw an analogy between sky, earth, sun & moon (天, 地, 日, 月) and the body. The six bu(六腑) is related to the earth, the five ju(五主) to the sky, the five jang(五臟) to the sun, the meridians system (經絡) to the moon. When spring, the air is warm, the water element of the earth is ascending, and the earth gives birth to the sour flavor. Like this, the water element is absorbed by six bu and then is ascended to the meridian system. When summer, the air is hot and the water element of the earth is floated, the earth make the bitter flavor. In the same way, the six bu absorbed the hot air from the five ju and the water element is quickly absorbed by six bu and then the water element is ascended to the meridian system. When rainy season (長夏), the earth creates the sweet flavor The sweet flavor give warmer energy to the five jang and the six bu. When autumn, the earth change the sweet flavor into pungent. The earth gives warmer energy to the sky, because of cool weather According to same process, the pungent flavor give warmer energy to the five jang and the six bu, and the meridian system gets back the water element from the five ju. When winter, the air is cold and the water element of the earth is hidden. The sky and the earth are not interchangeable. At that time, the earth produce the salty flavor and the water element is keeping in the meridian system.
