Fifth, when analyzing the impacts on the inpatient reduction rate by deploying organizational commitment and environmental factors at the same time, it was shown that the environmental factors mediated partially in organizational commitment and inpatient reduction rate. In the case of outpatient reduction rate, it was shown that the environmental factors mediated completely in organizational commitment and outpatient reduction rate. The present study is aimed to contribute to providing the baseline data for an efficient operational plan and effective workforce management of medical institutions.

The purpose of this study is to reveal the effects of the VDSPA(Vulnerability to the Different Sex's Physical Attraction) on IOM(the intention of open marriages), the mediating effect of the SAEMR(Self Acceptance of Extra-Marital Relationship) and the moderating effect of gender. This is an empirical research based on data analysis obtained by surveying 655. The notable findings are as follow: First, respondents' perceptions of their own extramarital affairs(M=2.284) and open marriages(M=2.175) are generally negative, but women were more negative than men. Second, both men and women were vulnerable to the physical attraction of the opposite sex(M=3.569), especially men than women. Third, the more vulnerable to the physical attraction of the opposite sex, the more receptive to their own infidelity. The more receptive to their own extramarital affair, the more clear their intention to open marriage. Lastly, in the case of women, it is confirmed that the vulnerability of the physical attraction of the opposite sex has a significant effect on the intention of an open marriage, with the acceptability of the one's own infidelity as a mediator. In the case of men, there is no mediating effect of accepting their own extramarital affairs, which proved to be a moderating effect by gender. Unlike men, in the case of women, it is concluded that 'accepting their own extramaritality is a critical factor that directly or indirectly has a significant effects on their intention to open marriage.

Objectives: This study aims to identify health status and health risks among female marriage immigrants to Korea and to provide a basis for public health strategies to address their health issues. Methods: The participants of the study were 3,069 immigrant wives. The health examination was conducted by the Korea Association of Health Promotion (KAHP) in 2008. The participants also completed self-administered questionnaires on demographic characteristics, health-related behaviors and mental health. Results: Patterns of immigrant women's health problems differed by age and country of origin. Behavior patterns also differed by their heritage, age, and years of residence in Korea. Generally Vietnamese women fell in lower ranges of disease prevalence and health risk factors in the participant group and Japanese women presented most healthy eating habits. Filipina women showed relatively high disease prevalence than any other group. Conclusion: Immigration to Korea by marriage is relatively a new phenomenon, thus continuing surveillance and research are needed to identify health risks, behavior patterns, and their relationships. Interventions and policies for the health of migrant wives, their children and families are required.
The purpose of this study was to examine the psychological characteristics of affecting never married men and women through analyzing the content of in-depth interviews about the idea of marriage and the reason for never married choice. For achieving this purpose, the in-depth interview was conducted with 9 men and women aged mid-20s to late 30s who said to choose never married life for a long time, and then the content of interview was analyzed using consensual qualitative research. As a result of analyzing the content of in-depth interview, it was derived into 2 areas, 10 sub-areas, and 25 categories. The results of the study were as follows. Firstly, it was found that research participants negatively recognized the marriage and had unrealistic expectation rather than no expectation for marriage. Secondly, most of the research participants felt negative feelings about their parents' patriarchal role, and they did not want to live like their parents. They also reported that they did not see their marriage separated from their parents. Thirdly, most of the research participants felt difficulty in forming relationships with intimate person, and it became more difficult to have expectations about spouses and marriage due to repeated relationship conflict patterns. Fourthly, the research participants showed psychological aspect of experiential avoidance and seeking for individuality in terms of never married choice. Most of the research participants predicted the failure of married life, and reported that they were trying to prevent uncomfortable feelings and sufferings by choosing never married life. Also they reported that individuality considered more important than connection with others(togetherness) and individual value considered more important than collective value. Participants in this study showed negative evaluation or had negative influences on the marriage life of parents and acquaintances. This is more likely to be a passive factor in never married choice, so future research should examine the characteristics of active factors in never married choice.

It examined the socio-demographic and health-related characteristics and problematic drinking status of economically active females over 19, by using data from the 6th Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey. They were analyzed by using IBM SPSS 25.0 and the complex sampling design. The findings show that the problematic drinking rates of economically active females were varied by their jobs: 19.1% for office job; 24.8% for manufacturing job; 12.3% for service job. The factors influencing problematic drinking were also differed by jobs: subjective heath status for office job; marital status and smoking for service job; marital status for manufacturing job. This study aimed to explore the social networks which married immigrant women have in Korea. Special attention was paid to factors such as individual, family, and migrant characteristics contributing to the different patterns of social networks. I drew upon the nationally representative data on 60,719 immigrant women married to Korean men from the '2009 Survey on Korean National Survey on Multicultural Families.' Results showed that the foreign wives tended to maintain a connection with our society through contact with their neighbors and participation in social gatherings. Findings also showed that the types of social networks by the number of trusted neighbors and meetings were diverse among the immigrant women. In addition, the factors differentiating the types were mostly associated with socioeconomic resources or Korean proficiency. More interestingly, the immigrant women's contacts with their family members in their homeland contributed to their maintenance of more active social networks. These results provided a useful outlook on the relationship between patterns of social networks and the characteristics of the married immigrant women, which eventually showed a heterogeneous nature among them. At the societal level, supportive systems for enriching immigrant women's social networks should be developed particularly in terms of not their dependency, but their potential contributions to our society.
This study aimed to analyze the characteristics of health check-up recipients in their 20s and 30s in Korea and identify factors influencing the participation rate in order to enhance the rate of health check-ups. The study population and methods utilized data from the 8th year of the Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, specifically the 2nd year (2020), and targeted 1,453 Korean residents aged between 20 and 30. The factors affecting health check-up participation were divided into sociodemographic factors, health behavior factors, mental health factors, and medical utilization factors, and both simple logistic regression analysis and multiple logistic regression analysis were conducted. The analysis results showed that educational level, marital status, type of health insurance, employment status, and subjective level of health were the factors influencing health check-up participation among Korean individuals in their 20s and 30s. These research findings can serve as foundational data for improving the health check-up participation rate among individuals in their 20s and 30s.
